About

Post-grunge rockers Seether looked back on their decade-plus career in 2013 by releasing a two-disc anthology dubbed Seether 2002-2013 and then, as is their longstanding habit, boarding their tour bus. Fans who scored tickets to the band's concerts saw the South African trio -- currently comprised of singer-guitarist Shaun Morgan, bassist Dale Stewart, and drummer John Humphrey -- pounding out favorites like "Broken," "Remedy," "Fine Again," and "Truth."

Seether came to the U.S. in 2002 after performing for a few years in their home country of South Africa under the band name Saron Gas. The risky move proved to be a smart one; the group easily slid into U.S. rock radio playlists and has since sold millions of albums around the world. Three of the band's albums -- 2002's Disclaimer, 2004's Disclaimer II, 2005's Karma and Effect and 2007's Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces -- sold more than 500,000 copies in the United States. Seether's 2011 studio album, Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray, reached No. 2 on The Billboard 200, making it the highest-charting album of the band's career.

  • Not so good

by Brandon on 11/12/25UPMC Events Center - Moon TownshipRating: 2 out of 5

Absolutely love Seether but they really tanked that performance. Singer sounded bad, drums were overpowering thr rest of the band.....they need to better balance the sounds.

  • Concert was Amazing but not my Fav Venue

by Jpr0822 on 11/11/25UPMC Events Center - Moon TownshipRating: 5 out of 5

All 4 bands rocked it out. Daughtry is one on my all time favs. I sat in section 110 Row K it was a very high traffic since the walkway was in front of me for everyone to come & go. Seemed to be more foot traffic than any other concert I been too. I was only at that Venue before. The concert gets 5 stars the venue 3.5.

  • Incredible show!!

by Shaff on 11/11/25UPMC Events Center - Moon TownshipRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time out at the U.P.M.C. Event Center out in Moon Township. My brother and I arrived a bit late and missed the entire opening band, but got to see P.O.D. , Daughtry and Seether. I used to listen to some P.O.D. via the radio station, 105.9 the X, but never really followed them much or actually listened to one of their cd's. MY GOODNESS, what a great F'N band!! Those guys ROCKED the freaking roof off the house! They were absolutely AWESOME!! Will definitely see these guy's again. Then Daughtry came out and blew off was left of the building!! Such amazing vocals and band talent. They always put everything out there. And alas was SEETHER. These guy's took it all to the next level. The band, the vocals, the light show. What an Incredible well put together concert. I will also give credit to the crew. These guy's were unbelievable the way they cleared and prepared the stage for the next bands. Just an absolutely great job from everyone. I just can't say enough of how much I enjoyed this show. Thank you!! 😊

  • Excellent Show!!

by James on 11/11/25UPMC Events Center - Moon TownshipRating: 5 out of 5

All the bands were awesome!! Seating was too cramped and I will not go back to the UPMC event center for this reason.

  • Great performances --- too much bass

by Dee Why on 11/11/25UPMC Events Center - Moon TownshipRating: 4 out of 5

All four acts were great. The only negative that I can say is that the bass is amplified way too much. We sat behind the mixing setup and there was a screen that showed the spectrogram and frequency spectrum. The low frequencies were so boosted it made it tough to understand the lyrics sometimes. I'm not sure why this is needed. It takes away instead of adding.

  • Acoustics and sound at the arena were not good

by Unsatisfied on 11/11/25UPMC Events Center - Moon TownshipRating: 3 out of 5

POD was way better than I expected them to be. I really enjoyed them. From the start of the show till the end, they had the crowd standing Daughtry put on a hell of a show. The sound and acoustics at UPMC Arena are subpar. There was times when it was hard to hear Daughtry over the instruments. All in all I’ve seen Daughtry a few times and he is still putting on a good show.Seether, who I like, but did not enjoy the show. Because whoever ran their soundboard made it difficult to hear the singer. Drowned out his voice with the instruments.

  • great Ali e up

by Patty on 11/11/25UPMC Events Center - Moon TownshipRating: 5 out of 5

all of the bands rocked and I do over the duets between bands. It was a fun show!

  • Great songs & energy. Bad acoustics in that venue!

by Jim on 11/11/25UPMC Events Center - Moon TownshipRating: 3 out of 5

Great bands! I've seen Seether and Daughtry a handful of times and both always bring a ton of energy, so I'll always go see them when I can. The acoustics in the UMPC Events Center at Robert Morris University were not conducive to a concert of this type. It wasn't the fault of any band, it was the venue that could have been better. Regardless, thank you for bringing them to the Burgh again!

  • Lighting Horrible

by Rob on 11/10/25The Factory - Saint LouisRating: 3 out of 5

Music was great but the lighting was horrible, couldn't even see any of the band members at all during the show.

  • The venue was great!

by Mandie on 11/9/25The Factory - Saint LouisRating: 4 out of 5

The venue was great. The opening bands were amazing. The sound guy for Seether was unfortunately terrible and they did not sound good at all. It was the only bad part of the night and they were the whole reason we were there.

  • Fun night

by Rockergirl on 11/9/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great show only down fall your legs and feet will be hurting by the end of the night with standing room only

  • A smoke free show.

by Wild Bill on 11/9/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

We missed smoking at the show. They had us throw out our lighters at the door. So we had weed and nothing the light it up. Had to buy a new lighter after the show. I didn't see that this show was smoke free when I bought the tickets? If there was something it needs to bigger so we can see this. The show was good but it would have been better if we had smoked some weed.

  • Ok - not much of a performance

by JK on 11/9/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Seether sounded good, but it wasn’t much of a “performance”. Minimal audience interaction and mostly cranking music for the entirety of the show. Didn’t understand the guitar play/feedback between all of the songs as well. Kind of annoying.

  • I loved the Concert!!!🥰

by Melissa Cutt on 11/8/25The Factory - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to the Factory before to see Static-X and Sevendust. But this last time when I was there to see Seether, POD, and Daughtry, I had a girl shove me into other concert attendants. It scared me. But thankfully the security got the problem out of there. I'm really thankful for the security. I really love The Factory Venue for concerts. I'll always trust my safety there with them.❤️

  • Seether/Daughtry

by Ilvbradpitt on 11/8/25The Factory - Saint LouisRating: 3 out of 5

P.O.D. was good. Daughtry killed it as usual. His voice is amazing. Seether was just ok...I left 5 songs into their set

  • Another great show from Seether

by WxRocker on 11/8/25The Factory - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

All 4 bands sounded great and put on a good show, however I came for Seether. They did not disappoint. Seether sounded great on all fronts and Shaun's iconic voice continues to crush. The Factory in St Louis is a perfect venue. I'll be waiting for their next visit.

  • Went for Seether

by Bobby on 11/8/25The Factory - Saint LouisRating: 4 out of 5

The venue was great! We went to see Seether, POD was awesome as well, can’t stand Daughtery. If this was our first Seether show, probably wouldn’t hurry to see them again, this certainly wasn’t their best performance. .

  • Rockin' at the Fillmore!

Great venue - very classic! Good crowd control/security. Very enjoyable. Great show and loved meeting Kami too.
