About

Post-grunge rockers Seether looked back on their decade-plus career in 2013 by releasing a two-disc anthology dubbed Seether 2002-2013 and then, as is their longstanding habit, boarding their tour bus. Fans who scored tickets to the band's concerts saw the South African trio -- currently comprised of singer-guitarist Shaun Morgan, bassist Dale Stewart, and drummer John Humphrey -- pounding out favorites like "Broken," "Remedy," "Fine Again," and "Truth."

Seether came to the U.S. in 2002 after performing for a few years in their home country of South Africa under the band name Saron Gas. The risky move proved to be a smart one; the group easily slid into U.S. rock radio playlists and has since sold millions of albums around the world. Three of the band's albums -- 2002's Disclaimer, 2004's Disclaimer II, 2005's Karma and Effect and 2007's Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces -- sold more than 500,000 copies in the United States. Seether's 2011 studio album, Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray, reached No. 2 on The Billboard 200, making it the highest-charting album of the band's career.

    Good times.

by Paul T on 7/19/22Q Casino Back Waters Stage - Dubuque

This was our forth time seeing Seether. Non point and 10 years gave solid performances and set the tone for night. Seether played for about an hour and a half and shredded it from start to finish. If you have the time, I highly recommend this tour.

    Great band but average show

by mcgarr on 7/19/22Q Casino Back Waters Stage - Dubuque

Seether is an all-time favorite band but live they can be mediocre. They play all the hits but frontman Shaun Morgan does not do much between songs. No stories or anything like that. He said thank you three times and thanked the opening acts. Was awesome, however, that they end as usual with Fake It and Remedy. Also, while at a rock concert some of this has to be expected, there was a lot of vaping and pot smoking outside the designated areas. Security is present and I could easily tell folks to please go to the general area, but I still wish it would not be so prevalent.

    Beat concert

by Red on 7/19/22Q Casino Back Waters Stage - Dubuque

They put on the beat show every time we see them. This was the best yet and the outside venue is great!!

    It was Ok…

by BethP on 7/19/22Q Casino Back Waters Stage - Dubuque

This was the first time I’ve been to the Backwater stage-I bought a Tailgate Ticket, so I could stand closer to the stage. The sound was terrible with all the bands. I could only hear the drummer and the guitar. I could barely hear the lead vocalists. It was like the microphone wasn’t checked. AND it was extremely hot!! It would have been nice to have mist sprayed on us-I could feel some from the stage sprayers, but it wasn’t enough.

    Mind blowing

by Aydin Syharath on 7/19/22Q Casino Back Waters Stage - Dubuque

Nonpoint was a band I did not know but absolutely rocked! 10 years exceeded all my expectations, and Seether made me feel euphoric! Loved every second of this concert, which in fact was my first!

    Awesome live

    by M.C on 5/27/22Minglewood Hall - Memphis

All bands were amazing! I was really surprised out how good Seether sounded! The only thing I hate is they didn't play careless whisper 🙁. The standing at Mingle wood does wear on you after a while. Wear comfortable shoes when you go! I can't wait to see Seether again!!! Please come back soon!

    Not what I expected

by Don’t worry about it on 5/27/22Minglewood Hall - Memphis

Honestly a pretty boring set overall. The drummer was a beat behind until about halfway through the show. Maybe a bad night for them but was pretty disappointed.

    Best live performers

by lcp on 5/27/22Minglewood Hall - Memphis

These guys sound the exact same live as they do in the studio. So much talent. We have seen them 4 times and will continue to see them over and over again because they are so good!

    Phenomenal Performance

    by H. N. D. on 5/19/22

A must-see live. These guys know exactly how to keep a crowd entertained. No unnecessary chit-chat to lengthen the set. Their music speaks for them. Incredibly talented and genuine; quite moving. Hands down the best performace I've ever seen. Aside from that, their technical set up was phenomenon. Great visuals, simple and complementary to the music. The kight sequences completely set the tone. Audio was not overblown, nor were the individual elements overpowering one another. Truly phenomenal.

    long wait

by Koup on 10/11/21Ace of Spades - Sacramento

Arrived to the venue 1 hour before show and was in line to get in over an hour and missed the first two song. Looks like Ace of Spades over sold the show and did not have a good plan to get its customers inside in a timely manner. Once inside the venue was OK just a bit overcrowded...Seether sound exceptional but because of Ace of Spades poor planning they had to rush thru the end of their setlist.

    Oversold

by Steve on 10/11/21Ace of Spades - Sacramento

I haven’t waited an hour in line in a long time, the place was packed by the time we got in. Seether was good but seemed rusty, lead singer admitting he hadn’t performed some of the songs in years, VERY LOUD, I liked that! Drummer is stellar, base player very energetic, lead guitar player very good, singer was good too, they just seemed out of practice. Overall we enjoyed the show.

    Seether Rocked

by AR on 10/10/21Ace of Spades - Sacramento

One of the best shows ever! Loved that it was just Seether rocking hard for almost two hours, Ace of Spades was the perfect venue for such a great show!

    Long line

by German on 10/10/21Ace of Spades - Sacramento

Seether was excellent, the sound great, but the line to enter was very long and the concert starts with a lot of people outside myself uncuided.

    Seether at Ace of Spades

by dgroves165 on 10/10/21Ace of Spades - Sacramento

Seether was fantastic and the crowd was great. Ace should have opened the doors a few minutes earlier. It takes a long time to let people in and because of the 11pm curfew, the band had to start while there were dozens of people still waiting to get in. The boom camera used for the livestream took up some of the limited space, but it wasn't a major problem. The band rocked and the crowd loved every song.
