This show was "ok". It was not the best kids show that I have seen. The actors were pretty good; however, the singing was pretty bad sometimes (it did not help that the arena we saw it in kept having malfunctioning mics on the actors so a lot of words cut off). My 7 year old seemed to enjoy it, but, I would not go back to another Scooby Doo Live.

by Donna74 on 1/25/13Joel Coliseum - Winston-SalemMe and my kids (5 and 7) thought this show was awesome. We saw it at the Coliseum Monday and we loved the music, the singing and the gang were really fun. My kids love Scooby Doo and they loved seeing him in person - he was very cute. Great story and the ghost looked cool. We bought VIP seats so we also got to meet Scooby before the show, which was great. Nice goody bag too.

Rating: 3 out of 5 Bad Production Weighed Down Show
by ScoobySnack71 on 1/23/13Winston-Salem Entertainment Sports Complex - Winston-SalemLet me start by saying that it is difficult to review the show based on its own merits because the sound was so bad. We were sitting on the front row and the actors had feedback every time they approached each other. Literally...every time! Even my 7 year old daughter pointed it out. The show itself was ok but very short considering we paid $65 a ticket for front row seats. 90 minutes, give or take, and that's with intermission. Oh yeah...the lady who played Daphney had a very annoying voice. LOL. With all this being said, my 7 year old loved it and my 10 year old was bored. I've been a fan of Scooby for 35+ years and this was a major disappointment. Especially for the money.

by ealli1 on 1/23/13Winston-Salem Entertainment Sports Complex - Winston-SalemWas a neat theatrical presentation/musical production. Very well put on by the characters. Neat props. Great kid interaction. I wish they had offered some type of meet & greet before or after. Would have enhanced the experience, but all in all great show. Kids ages 4 and 5 really enjoyed.
Rating: 2 out of 5 Just okay
by Deacongirl on 1/23/13Winston-Salem Entertainment Sports Complex - Winston-SalemMy kids LOVE scooby doo and I even payed a heap extra for what was advertised as a "special pre-show party". Boy were we disappointed. A very unorganized group of people at the coliseum finally led us to a small room past security in the basement somewhere where we stood in a line in a dark damp hallway for about 15 minutes. When we finally entered the room for the VIP party, there was scooby doo whom we got to get a picture with. Quickly rushed through the line, my kids then received goody bags and we were sent to our seats. VIP = very icky party, said my 4 year old. No balloons, no snacks, they didn't even act like it was trying to be a party. I felt more like we were an inconvenience to them. The show was pretty good but the story line really never made a good point. When the end finally came, my kids couldn't wait to leave. The singing was superb. However, The plot was extremely complicated. I have a BS in Math and I still couldn't really tell you why the ghost was haunting the people in the theater. In the end, it was someone who the kids hadn't even seen before. We loved the singing. Excellent performers.

Rating: 1 out of 5 Just bad
by Anonymous on 1/23/13Winston-Salem Entertainment Sports Complex - Winston-SalemI thought this show was awful nto start, it was 20 minutes late. Not fun when you have an audience full of fidgety kids. Second, the audio was terrible. Squeaking microphones. The singing was bad bad bad. And finally the show just didnt really make sense. I really didnt get it. I thought maybe it was because i was bored and failed to really pay attention but others said the same thing too. Thank goodness it ended. If it werent for the kids i would have left at intermission! If i had known they didnt like it too we wpuld have left! Oh and $10 to park for an event like this was ridiculous!
