The Scissor Sisters put on an incredibly energetic, fun, sexy show. They sound great live. They're obviously having a good time on stage, and the audience loves it. The Scissor Sisters are just about the best thing going in pop right now (smart, sassy, catchy songs)-- I cannot believe they're not more popular in the U.S. (because they're huge in the U.K.).

  • One of the best shows I have ever experienced!

  • dance, but don't move.

I saw the Scissor Sisters in Midtown Manhattan at the Terminal 5 venue; it was a general admission, standing show. The band itself was fantastic. Casey Spooner opened, along with a very good DJ ( Sammy Jo). The two opening acts i felt were too long-2hrs. By the time i saw the bank i was almost musiced out! Since this group is something that makes you want to shake your can, it would have been better to been in a less cramped space. i felt like a piece of veal because there was not much room to move-i was in the second row, so i had a great view. At the end of the performance Jake jumped right into the audience, which i thought was cool...i would see them again if there were a better venue.

This is the first scissor sisters concert i've been to and I'm definitely hooked. The live performance was so high energy, and sexy. They were interactive with the audience, and so much fun! The stage was amazing too with the lazers, mirrors, and lights. costumes were so great.

  • A Simply Breathtaking Night with Scissor Sisters

    by MrViper on 8/26/10Terminal 5 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

From the minute the lights came up and the group hit the stage, it was a continuous beautiful onslaught of heart-pounding, excitement generating acoustic euphoria. Starting with the going out anthem "Night Work" (the title track to their newest album), Scissor Sisters fantastically took me and my fellow audience members with them on an musical adventure that blends the variety of elements from their three albums into a journey that kept me elated to the point of continual body groovin'. Then, to add to the sensory feast was visual elements such as colorful layered costumes, lasers, and lights that all came together to make you feel like you were at the dance club of your dreams. It was by far the best way to spend my 27th birthday.

  • Scissor Sisters were amazing!!

The Scissor Sisters concert was fantastic! It was almost two hours of high energy, well sung and played music. Would suggest that everyone see them at least once even if you do not know their music since the concert was an awesome time and so much fun. The whole group is great but the two lead singers, Jake and Ana, are great vocalists and have terrific, sassy stage presence. Can't wait to see them again!!

The Sistas rocked Terminal 5 last night - I heard they were great in concert but had no idea what to expect. Their positive energy, stage presence, and enthusiasm were contagious! They had the whole place dancing. Awesome time!

One of the funnest shows I've seen in a long time. Their new album is awesome. I hope they stay together for awhile. The S.S. are just the perfect combination of talent, wit and showmanship. They're all damn sexy too! My best wishes to them & hope to see them again soon.

  • keeps getting better

    by hoishmaster on 8/26/10Terminal 5 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This was the fourth time I've seen them live and they keep getting better. Tons of energy, great showmanship and personality. Jake's vocals were a little muddled due to bad acoustics or mixing or something like that (not sure). But it's still always great to hear a more acoustic spin on a song like Filthy Gorgeous. Del Marquis on guitar was great, as was the drumming. It sounded very different from a lot of the drum machine sounds on the album.
