  • SS keps it Filthy/Gorgeous!

    by JadedMuse on 9/2/10Terminal 5 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

So this show has been a dream of mine for 6 years now. I recall being on the bus sophomore year of high school listening to songs like "Laura" and "Music is the Victim" and thinking, "God I can't wait til these guys get big because they will be amazing." And on Wednesday August 25th, I laughed, danced, screamed, cried and had one of the best nights of 2010. When a show touches something so deep and so primal in the human spirit they are either truly talented or a choir of angels... the antics and wardrobe of the band make me think the former is the more likely option. You can tell SS loves to be on stage and truly loves their fans. Fantastic show

  • FABULOUS!

by ScissorsFan on 9/1/10Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I saw Scissor Sisters 4 years ago at the Tabernacle and when I heard they were coming back, I as SO excited! They put on such an awesome show, so energetic and fun. This show was no different. Where do they get their energy? Jake Shears (lead singer) is non-stop the whole show. They interact with the audience and just have fun. Jake's and Ana's voices are incredible. They sound just as good as they do on their album, maybe a little better even. I love Scissor Sisters and I so hope they come back again real soon!

  • Scissor Sisters rocked my world.

    by trixy272 on 9/1/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

The venue, intimate yet spacious enough to move about in, with the fun decor & convenient arrangement, perfectly suited the Scissor Sisters' wild, avant-guarde, unpredictable showmanship. The sound was good, and the performance was mind-blowing. From their dancing to their costume choices to their general sense of drama & wild, sexy fun, the Scissor Sisters put on a show to end all shows. Loved it, loved it, loved it! I'd recommend them, and the venue, to any open-minded, stylish young person with a good ear for music & a good mind for fun. :D

  • Scissor Sisters Cut to the Chase!

    by iBernard on 8/30/10Terminal 5 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Brilliant show by Jake, Ana and crew (Del!). The place just rocked with quite a bass note. The DJ was useless, really. Sammy NO! The chief opening act reminded me of Morrisey on Prozac, But it was all over when Scissor Sisters took the stage, and the moment had just begun. A tight band, lots of fun, and great camaraderie made for a superb evening. To see a band of their stature, especially in Europe and overseas, in such a great venue was totally thrilling. Front row, dead center really was front row, dead center.

The show was so much fun! My only complaint is it was so hot in the theatre! They should have bumped the air up a few knotches!

  • Awesome!

As a Londoner based in NYC, I am used to seeing The Scissor Sisters play in large arenas, as they are enormously popular in the UK. To see them play at Terminal 5 was a joy, because they are such a fun band that always deliver an excellent show. This was high octane, camp brilliance at its best. An excellent night out.

  • Scissor Sisters cut it up!

    by wdg872 on 8/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

The unbelievably talented and entertaining Scissor Sisters took Philly by storm at the Electric Factory on August 27. The sexy Jake Shears, suave Del Marquis and Baby Daddy and sultry Ana Matronic were music to the ears and visions of loveliness to the eyes. A great show, period.

  • The show was great

First time seeing this group perform live.... I have never heard of them before until my friend told me and I got him tickets for his birthday to see this show and I went with him. I can honestly say the show was great. I would go back and see them perform again. The light show was excellent too. No prolem at all just that for refreshments cash only and a bit expensive but whatever the show was great.

  • Scissor Sisters rocked NYC!!

The Scissor Sisters had everyone at Terminal 5 feeling their inner queen on August 25th!!! The only way to make the show any better would have been to make it last another two hours!

  • by Jo31 on 8/29/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I left there sweaty and covered in glitter and confetti, my feet were sore and my throat was scratchy. It was every thing a show should be.

Great show. Played almost the entire new album and many old favorites. Awesome encore included their cover of "Comfortably Numb". Great vibe in the Electric Factory overall. The Sisters had everyone dancing, whether they wanted to or not.

The Scissor Sisters put on an amazing, unforgettable show, with high energy all night. They're sexy, seductive and ultimately phenomenal. One of the best concerts I've been to in a long time.
