Awesome show, the venue, fox theatre in Oakland was amazing. They played wide variety of songs from all their albums. What a great band, would love to see them again.
The renovated theater is just awesome. The show was fast paced and exciting. The audience was so into it. Somehow, tho, the music overpowered the voices, and you couldn't really hear them sing.
The Scissor Sisters put on a wonderful show, the night was full of drinking, sing a longs, and dancing queens. But their concert was truly amazing from start to finish...
Great show - Jake and Anna were flawless - however the sound at the Fox Theater kinda sucks.
Terrific concert. They keep getting better. Nightwork is a great album and they performed amazingly. Fire with Fire was hot, but they really exploded with Invisible Light in the encore. Go see 'em!
Omg they put on such a good show. After their third album they are more polished without losing any of their exciting spark. I took 3 friends that weren't familiar with them and they loved it!
Scissor Sisters were extremely high energy! They were at a fantastic venue in Vegas and did not disappoint. Tickets were very affordable and worth every penny. They played a good mix of stuff from their new CD, as well as stuff from their first and second. If you get the chance, they are a fantastic show. Don't miss them.
This show was absolutely and undeniably the funniest and sexiest bashes show of the year.
This is the third tyme seeing SS. I have seen them twice in a club setting and now once at the The Pearl.. In Europe they are huge and sell out big arenas. they are still not know as well here which is sad but good thing the venues are smaller. They always put on a great show.. Ana and Jake play off each other very well. If you are reading this review you know who they are and what they sound like.. They do it well in concert. Opener Casey Spooner of Fisherspooner had an interesting set. playing about 5 songs using pre-recording backing music and vocals.. he came out and did a very laid back set. he said he just gotten his cds for that gig dunno if that is true or not but i did buy his cd Audlt Contemporary
I went with my partner due to him being a big fan. I wasn't expecting much, but I was in for a big surprise. One of the best shows I've ever been to! Not a dull moment.
The show was unreal. Jake and Ana are the ultimate professionals and sounded awesome. Backup singers are a great addition to their live sound. Encore rocked: Comfortably Numb, Invisible Light (my favorite), and Filthy Gorgeous. Jake's performance of Skin Tight was the best of he night. The Palm's theater (Vegas) was pretty cool too. One more thing: Babydaddy and Del are hot too, but were kind of subdued.
Their incisive guitar work, sharp dance moves, and knife-edged effects helped them live up to their name. Shallow? I think not!
The show was good, not great. The set was simple, yet the addition of lasers gave it a retro feel. They concentrated more on their current album as opposed to their past two which put them on the map. Anna spent far too much time yapping away, cutting Jake off while he was attempting to say things. The crowd seemed to have a good time. Lots of energy, just wished they had played more of their hits.
Scissor Sisters concert was AMAZING!!! The band gave a fantastic performance full of energy. I can't wait til they come back next year!

They played a mix of new and older tunes, Anna Matronic was totally engaging and I never knew Jake Shears would be so sexy in person and in great voice. The guy from fischerspooner was a good opening act too.
Great show! Awesome venue just wish there were more people there. It was only about half full. Opening act was a little rough but still pretty good.

I cannot believe how good this show was! Everything I hoped it would be and more! This band is incredible on stage and is a must-see when they get to your town. Their albums are fabulous but their live stage shows make them an amazing, spectacular, incredible, and awesome band. If you get the chance....GO TO A SHOW!
