Schitt’s Creek: Up Close & Personal on Tour
Schitt's Creek, the critically acclaimed single-cam comedy co-created by Daniel Levy and Eugene Levy, follows a wealthy family who suddenly find themselves broke and forced to live in Schitt's Creek, a small town they once bought as a joke. The series features comedy legends and Emmy® Award-winning actors Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, and Chris Elliott, alongside breakout stars Daniel Levy, Annie Murphy, and Emily Hampshire.
Schitt's Creek centers on a wealthy video store magnate, Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy), his former soap-star wife Moira (Catherine O'Hara) and their two adult children – the self-described black sheep of the family David (Daniel Levy) and career socialite Alexis (Annie Murphy). With their pampered lives a memory, they struggle to find jobs and relationships, and most importantly, figure out what it means to be a family in the makeshift but loveable town they've reluctantly come to call home.
Schitt's Creek: Up close & Personal was a delightful event. Everyone in the cast was extremely giving, the interaction with the audience was amazing and Noah Reid's performance was out of this world. Thank you to everyone involved. W.
They all brought their A-game. It was a 10:30 pm show and they still seemed genuinely excited to be there.
The cast of Schitt’s Creek was flawless. They had amazing chemistry and wit. I would go and watch it 100 more times
The theater is beautiful and added so much to the experience. Great staff. The show was so much fun and everything I expected. Great to actually see this funny talented group in person.
A night spent well! So much fun, so much laughter! What a beautiful venue. The cart was open and funny and i enjoyed getting a snapshot into some behind the scenes stories.
Just start to finish, this was so much fun. The cast of Schitt’s Creek is everything I wanted!
My husband and I adore this show and all the characters on it. Getting to see some of the cast up close and personal was magical! Getting to be apart of this event was amazing. Getting to hear from each of the cast members about their time on set, funny tid bits about the cast members, and a great Q&A during the event. I was so much in awe at how everyone dressed for the occasion, most outfits were inspired by certain characters from the show. The "Rose Family Feud" game towards the end of the show was great to see. Bringing audience members to the stage to take part in the "quiz show"
The hotel/casino is beautiful I just wish the stadium where the event was held was better. They need stadium seating, it was just chairs on a flat surface so it was hard to see the stage.
The thought and detail that went into the show of Schitt’s Creek was also given to Up Close and Personal - thank you! Fun. Heartwarming and more fun.
Schitt’s creek up close and personal was the best event I’ve ever attended. Dan Levy is a wonderful moderator who a great mix of humor, sincerity and honesty. I want to be friends with all six actors who attended to speak. They all seem so down to earth and friendly. We flew to Vancouver, BC from Minnesota to attend this event and it did not disappoint!!
Highly recommended for any further opportunities to see this show that might come up. Was extremely well-organized, appearances by all the cast that I wanted to see the most, the pace of everything was excellent and the fact that it was structured to prevent awkward questions and audience interactions wasn’t lost on me; I was very appreciative of that. Without giving too much away, the musical performance at the end was the icing on the cake. Beautifully done!!
A wonderful evening of laughs and behind the scenes stories from the cast & creative team from one of my favorite shows. So what was missing? For the ticket price charged, it would have been even more entertaining if the event organizers had provided video close up coverage of the panelists' reactions to comments & questions. Most of the seating was too far away to be able to see these. This investment would have provided additional enjoyment for the audience that evening.
The show was great - listening to the stories of the actors.
everything you could have expected from a great, eclectic cast of characters! loved the show from beginning to end. Only comment would be that the chairs the cast sat on should have been raised up on a platform; sitting in the 12th row and unable to see any of their faces due to the venue.
So wonderful seeing the cast talk about their experiences and the show, interacting with each other, playing family feud with the audience, singing songs, and dancing. I adore the show so this was a fun treat.
Totally something new and different. The cast embraced the audience and answered question that were gathered before the show. Hilarious and worth it. Started a little late but not a big deal.
Schitt’s Creek up close & personal is a must for any fan. We had an amazing time.
They started 30 minutes late but it was worth the wait. It was amazing to see Eugene and Maureen after 20+ years of being a fan of their work together. Dan, Annie and Noah were all funny and professional. Emily was the unfortunate reason for the 4 stars vs 5 stars. She was disruptive, incoherent and, admittedly, drunk. I loved her as Stevie on the show but, in person, not so much.
I felt for the price of my seat the stage was far away for this revue. No big screens so you could see them better as they spoke only the big screen behind them to show a few pictures. I think adding big screens and showing their faces as they spoke would of made it 10x’s better... Its not like they can’t afford to add them unfortunately if they do Las Vegas missed out on them. Love the show and can’t wait for the next season!!!
honestly, had so much fun seeing my favorite people talking about my favorite show, schitt’s creek. dan, as per usual is he best moderator and host of the show who never failed to keep the audience lol with anecdotes from the show. eugene, catherine, annie, emily and noah provided so many bts stories that was both entertaining and endearing. glad that even though i went alone, i met people who are big fans of the show as well, and we all shared this mutual admiration to the show. we all became fast friends to the point that we all followed each other in our sm so we could chat and freakout more about the show. just so fun and such a great crowd to be in, to be honest.
