Savion Glover Tickets

Very intimate show. Savion performed the whole show no intermission. Awesome awesome show.

He tap danced for an hour and a half straight ! His rhythm and beat were spot on! Savion used music to showcase his impeccable choreography and his movement governed the music that was played. He danced with pure joy!

This is my 5th time seeing Savion Glover and he NEVER disappoints! He is Brilliant! If there is one person you see in your lifetime ,make sure its Savion!!!! He is passionate about his craft and it comes across with every beat of his crazy ass feet!!!! He is so exciting to watch! AMAZING!!!!!!

Every aspect of the performance was excellent. Mr. Glover was fantastic. I was also very impressed with the music, they were outstanding. Would love to see him perform again.

The show was a waste of my ninety dollars, Savion only performed four times, he talked for approximately one hour and half.

Savion was amazing. It was great to listen to him talk about how he got where he is today. It was the perfect balance of information and dance. This performance was for someone who is a true Savion fan.

Excellent show-very personal, as he shared his journey from childhood to stardom, as well as introducing the audience to some of his Family and Friends, including his Son. Savion Glover is so very talented, and very charismatic as he speaks to the crowd. This is (sadly) only the 2nd time I've seen one of his shows, and I was blown away each time! Worth every penny and then some.

This was an Amazing Performance. One of the best I've ever seen. Hopefully they take this performance on the road as I'd love to see it again. Nothing better than talented children performing a meaningful show with multiple positive messages! Not sure how long they have been working together, but they seem comfortable and flawless in this production.

When I read the story and bought the tickets, I expected a really cool tapping show with Savion... When we arrived, we saw an amazing group of more than twenty 6-18 year olds who sang, danced, tapped, and performed as though they had been doing it their entire lives! We were pleasantly surprised to see young people being the center of the story and show. Amazing job Savion & team!

Savion's performance was amazing as ever. I like the intimacy of the restaurant and stage.

I'm glad I decided to go see the tap legend himself. He danced the entire time. The show started on time. Lovely venue and atmosphere.

Wonderful performance. Such a tremendous tapper. The Howard Theater was very nice but our server was slow and actually forgot our order.

A wonderful summer evening! VIP seating close to the stage … lovely, friendly people at my table … several glasses of cold, sweet Riesling … delicious fried catfish bits and spicy, Cajun shrimp … and almost two hours of being mesmerized by the greatest living tap dancer as he improvised to the music of several world class jazz musicians … Is there anything that could have been better?! Hardly! Great venue and great talent.

Savion is a wonderful entertainer. Superb showman.

You couldn't tell by my overall rating but I'm actually a Savion Glover fan. My family and I was disappointed because the "holiday" show was not put together well at all. Sure there were a couple of x-Mas songs but the stage lacked presence and I felt Savion could've wore something festive for $100 a ticket. As we all know, Savion can tap his *** off but did we have to watch him tap in 12 minute intervals at a time with no organized routine? He had a few dancers come out to change the pace a bit (looked like his students) but they were lack luster and didn't keep our interest. He should have incorporated children. Everyone loves to see a talented child. I mean after all, it was a holiday show. Didn't he know children were going to be there? Besides the fact that we were in folding chairs that were placed directly in front of the speaker (not an actual theater seat) and Savion came out 15 minutes after the show stared (he said he was next door eating) was enough for me to say, "Savion, you owe me change for that show"! Not worth it...Sorry

Savion's performances are like no other. He welcomes the audience into his "personal playground." He allows the audience to share in his passion.

My mind was blown after the first 5 minutes, and my mouth was hanging open the rest of the time. I have been waiting a long time to see him (my son was taught tap by one of his proteges). The band and the other tappers were also phenomenal. Savion is a world-class entertainer.

I love tap dancing; my wife loves tap dancing...we had high expectations. The band came on stage, and went into a 20-30 minute opening sequence that was basically inaudible. Then Savion Glover came on to perform a 'holiday' program. SOMEWHERE in each number was a trace of holiday music, but almost impossible to discern. There was a vocalist, who could not be heard at all. The music was not mixed, the trumpet dominated, it was impossible to sit through (and yes, have eclectic tastes!) We left 30 minutes early....have not done this in over 10 years. I am certainly not alone.....OHHHH, how I would like a refund.
