Everything was nice. The tables are very close together. There was a bee issue throughout the paddock that was not at all enjoyable as we had brought food to share. It would have been nice if they had the racing program at the entrance to the paddock to purchase, or even better if one was included with each table.
nice spot but just a couple issues. Our table was in the sun the whole day and no bathrooms or betting windows nearby. Other than that nice spot. Great view of horses in walking ring
a fun day, not too crowded, paddaock is a great place to go with a large group
We got to the park and had paid for parking that was closer. When we got there the woman told us that the parking lot was full and we'd have to park elsewhere. About a mile and a half of walking later we found a parking spot. The race was fun for our party, but our seats were definitely in the back of the pavilion area we were in. I would either upgrade my picnic bench or pay for better seats next time that you can see the race track a little bit.
Setting is great very close to the paddock action. Great price for 6 seats with no hassle of early arrival to save a table. Only downfall is tables are extremely close together like you are sitting on top of the neighboring table.
This was our second year heading up to Saratoga. And man, I love that place. Moving forward however we will not be buying the paddock picnic area. As it has just been overtaken by all the joy boy frat boys with their Ray Bans,, matching T-shirts, beers with no coolers, & hitting their Vape pens. We will continue to come up. However, just pop a chair and table under a general admission tree, and then buy a grandstand ticket.
Had a good time the table was in the sun but shade was near by. The staff was very accomadating. The only thing was I would recommend they take out some tables so each party has more space in between.
You jam the tables so close together for greed that its very uncomfortable!
Nyra has fallen too! Greed cramming as many benches in for the money. Moved because we were in sun.
Tables are far from the race track. They are close together. It rained. We gave up.
the staff typically walks allpeople to their reserved table, wipes down the table and seats. This is a very nice thing and also gives you peace of mind that only ppl that reserved tables will be in the area. This year, there were more ways to access the area that were not paid attention to by staff. It def did not feel as "exclusive" as it has in the past
Tables were entirely too close together. Hardly space to walk through. No spaces for coolers, etc The free tables had much more space between them. Otherwise a great space by the paddock.
We were assigned a table There had to be 100 tables in a small area with limited space in between with room for 6 at each table Last I knew covid is still out there. We went back after the third race to salvage our spot and a group was at our table We went to the NYRA reps and they said we will move them I was too embarrassed to go sit there if they would move them and have the trespassers nearby so we bailed out
We were given the wrong direction to get ti miller court. My husband has severe copd so the etra walking was more than we expected. The staff, once we arrived at the court were helpful. We thought each table would have am umbrella, we were wrong. We had great veiw of tv to watch the races, that was amazing! We were close to betting kiosk, the staff for betting we also helpful and funny. We did move to a table that was more shaded. All in all it was a day well spent. The etickets were super easy too.
We arrived at 11:00 and there was still adequate parking. The line for admission moved quickly and efficiently with the mobile app. We reserved a table in the Miller Lite Picnic area and had a view of the tvs and convenient to betting stations. From start to finish it was a fabulous fun day.
This was the first year I felt the picnic area was tight and hard to maneuver around. I do not know if more picnic tables were added but it definitely felt like people were on top of each other and it was hard to walk in and out from our table. Not the best idea when dealing with a pandemic to have people so close to each other. Also, in previous years, Row A's tables were not up against the fence so you were able to have another tunnel to walk through and were able to go and see the horses in the paddock. For the prices of the tables, it was disappointing not being able to do that this year.
This area has way too many tables spaced close together. No room to even walk between them. If you bring a cooler there is nowhere to put it. Tables were old, worn out and uncomfortable. The tables had no finish on them which was like sitting on splintered wood. Since the tables were on top of each other they should have made it non smoking. Sat there breathing in cigarettes and cigars all day.
This place is special, what a great experience for a 15 man trip!!!
Saratoga races were fun. Dinners were great Digital ticketing worked fine
nice spot but way too many tables in a small area people actually getting cuts on knees from tables you had to squeeze thru to make bets or see horses
