About

Celebrated country vocalist Sara Evans returned to the airwaves in 2013 with "Slow Me Down," the bombastic lead single from her highly anticipated seventh studio album. As great as her voice is on record, it's her live concerts that let her showcase what a pure and versatile storyteller she truly is. Ticket buyers are sure to be floored by her vocals, with a dynamic range that can go from angelic softness to full-voiced belts effortlessly, all done with an emotional heft that reaches into your soul and holds on until the very last note. Every tour she's unleashed has been a vocal tour de force that has to be heard to be believed. Her upcoming album, due in the first quarter of 2014, is sure to be another classic Sara Evans' journey through life and love and finds her reuniting with superstar Vince Gill, who sang with Sara on her first country number one hit, "No Place That Far."

A country sensation since her debut album in 1997, Sara Evans has kept listeners enthralled with her continuous release of quality material and award-winning performances. Her classic "Born to Fly" became her second number one single, and was responsible for Sara's first major award win at the 2001 Country Music Association Awards, where she was the most nominated artist of the evening. Her biggest song to date came thirteen years into her illustrious career with "A Little Bit Stronger," becoming Sara's first platinum-certified single. Time and time again, Sara Evans proves that a timeless vocalist with personal stories to tell will always find an audience to connect with.

Sara Evans was incredible. I would go see her again when she comes back! I just wasn't happy with the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. People around us were rude, we couldn't see her half the time, but again, she was great!

  • Great night with Sara Evans

by dmkm on 8/31/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 4 out of 5

Sara played all her biggest hits, including Born to Fly, Perfect, I Could Not Ask For More, and of course Suds In The Bucket. She was spot on with every performance, and seemed to hit all the highlights effortlessly. She is a very polished and professional performer who had the audience on their feet and dancing throughout the show.

  • Sara Evans Concert (Lowell)

by bulldogtransplant on 8/31/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 4 out of 5

Evans is a great talent. Love her voice, both singing and speaking. She just doesn't have that extra zing to push her to superstar. Concert was good. Could have been great but venue security allowed too many people running back and forth to stage to take pictures. Other venues don't allow that - concert goers should only be allowed to take pics from their seats. It was very distracting, couldn't concentrate on show. I would definitely attend another Sara Evans concert but don't know about another concert at Lowell Auditorium.

The concert was good, but there were not any "jumbo-tron" screens. She did not sing, No Place That Far, When You Were Cheatin, Greyhound Bus, & her 1st video hit. So, that was disappointing...I don't know if I would go again?

  • Sara Evans is incredible.

I believe Sara Evans is one of the most underrated country stars today. Her voice is so powerful and so beautiful. On top of her unbelievable vocal performance, her banter with the audience and timely jokes make her so much fun to see live. She is absolutely beautiful and always gives an amazing live performance. Being in such a small theater at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium made it seem that much more personal being there. It was an absolutely phenomenal show, and I would strongly recommend a Sara Evans concert to any music fan.

  • Sara Evans @ Lowell

    by TZL726 on 8/30/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 4 out of 5

This was the second time my husband and I saw Sara Evans at Lowell Memorial. She looked amazing, her voice was fantastic and she was funny and engaging with the audience. With the exception of a woman nearby who wore way too much perfume and caused us to move our seats, it was a great night.

  • Great voice, gave her all.

I thought Sara did a wonderful job with all of her songs. She sang with all her might. She is truly a gifted performer. Overall, the show was very good. I will watch for her to come back to this area, and definitely get tickets to see her again. Also, great seats.. 4th row on the floor. Sara was 25 feet away!

  • Sara is wonderful!

Sara Evans has one of the best voices in country music today. She has a wonderful personality that engages the audience. While she was performing she would reach out to shake hands or sign an autograph which her fans really appreciated. The concert was hit after hit and she did a great on every song she performed. At one point she sang Elvis's "Suspicious Minds" and nearly brought the house down. I looked around the audience and everyone seemed to be having a great time. When she comes to town again I will buy tickets again because she is well worth the price of a ticket.

  • Sara Puts On A Show!

by nhguy on 8/30/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 5 out of 5

Sara Evans was tremendous at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. She looked awesome...sounded wonderful and was very at ease onstage. She sang a mix of some of her hits and new material with a few cover songs. This is my third Sara Evans concert and was by far the best!

Loved the small venue and she "rocked" the house. This is the 3rd time I have seen her and she just gets better everytime. She is an amazing vocalist, has a wonderful sense of humor and truly appears to love her audiance. Absolutely loved her and her entire band..

Sara was amazing! It was my first time seeing her.

  • Sara Evans was Great!

by blizaljoma on 8/30/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 4 out of 5

What a great entertainer and a fantastic performer! My only slightly negative comments are that she only played for an hour and her last song was not even her own work. Both of these items surprised me, although her beautiful voice more than made up for them. That's why I wanted more than an hour! :-)

  • Sara is sooo. personable

Sara was a great performer talking to the crowd like she was talking to her friends. Her voice is probably the best in country music

Seems like even though this was a small venue for a name like Sara Evans she had incredibly high energy and put on a great show! Overall it was a great experience!!

  • Sara Evans was AMAZING!

by vetteboy on 8/30/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 5 out of 5

Sara, her sisters Ashley and Lesley and her incredible band brought huge cheers to Lowell Auditorium last night. She performed flawlessly many of her songs on her Greatest Hits CD (2007) and her latest single 'Feels Just Like a Love Song'. Sara sang a new song from her upcoming new album coming soon. Sara proved she is still one, if not the best female country singer on the charts. Songs included As If, Suds in a Bucket, A Real Fine Place to Start and the incredible performance singing 'I Could Not Ask for More'. Her voice was stunning!
