About

Celebrated country vocalist Sara Evans returned to the airwaves in 2013 with "Slow Me Down," the bombastic lead single from her highly anticipated seventh studio album. As great as her voice is on record, it's her live concerts that let her showcase what a pure and versatile storyteller she truly is. Ticket buyers are sure to be floored by her vocals, with a dynamic range that can go from angelic softness to full-voiced belts effortlessly, all done with an emotional heft that reaches into your soul and holds on until the very last note. Every tour she's unleashed has been a vocal tour de force that has to be heard to be believed. Her upcoming album, due in the first quarter of 2014, is sure to be another classic Sara Evans' journey through life and love and finds her reuniting with superstar Vince Gill, who sang with Sara on her first country number one hit, "No Place That Far."

A country sensation since her debut album in 1997, Sara Evans has kept listeners enthralled with her continuous release of quality material and award-winning performances. Her classic "Born to Fly" became her second number one single, and was responsible for Sara's first major award win at the 2001 Country Music Association Awards, where she was the most nominated artist of the evening. Her biggest song to date came thirteen years into her illustrious career with "A Little Bit Stronger," becoming Sara's first platinum-certified single. Time and time again, Sara Evans proves that a timeless vocalist with personal stories to tell will always find an audience to connect with.

by WeddingSong on 9/6/09Harrah's Resort Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I went to AC to see her show for our first wedding anniversary...the first song we danced to at our wedding was "I could not ask for more" by Sara Evans. It was great that a year later we were able to see her preform the song live! She has an amazing voice and put on a great show, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Sara Evans put on an amazing show in Atlantic City this past Saturday. Her vocals were great and so was her band. And she looked absolutely fantastic. She has always been my favorite country artist and she did not disappoint me.

Just returned from Atlantic City and took in the Sara Evans concert at Harrah's last night. The concert venue was an approx. 1,000 seat arena - comfortable seating - every seat is a good seat. Sara came on at 9:00 PM (on time as country acts are always prompt). She looked adorable and her voice was strong and powerful. She has two sisters and one brother in her band, so it's such a family affair. For all you twitter lovers, she is NOT pregnant - confirmed by Sara.....She sang all her hits and did two new ones from her upcoming cd. The audience was not as into Sara as most country concerts as the front rows of venue are usually saved for the casino's high rollers. Everyone stayed for the entire concert, though. She played for 1-1/2 hours and was very thankful to everyone for coming out to see her perform. I would see her again at this venue or any venue for that matter.....

Out of the three Sara Evans concerts that I have been to, this one was by far, the best one. She had an outstanding performance. She really had the crowd moving.

  • awesome voice, great interaction with audience

by spartanbb on 9/6/09Harrah's Resort Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

casino`s shows are short, performing elvis and cheap trick cover songs instead of her hits like when you were cheating and low left us disapointed at the end.

  • Sara Evans Lowell Auditorium-5 star performance

by BMACBMAC on 9/3/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 5 out of 5

Sara Evans put on a show that highlighted her strength in voice, her passion for the songs, and her love of her fans on 8/29/09 at the Lowell Memorial Theatre in Massachusetts on August 29th. The acoustics in the theatre were top notch. Sara hit all of the highs and truly thrilled her audience with the likes of Suds in a Bucket, Perfect, As if, and all of her other hits. Sara's presence on stage was remarkable as she broke down the 4th wall and even signed autographs during the middle of the show to the crowds delight. Sara was very interactive with audience which ranged from young to old. Sara was funny and witty on stage and quite sincere in her dialogue with her audience. The opening to Suds in a bucket was funny and interactive with the audience. Sara also cracked jokes throughout the night that got a great crowd response. If the stage presence wasn't enough, the vocal range of Sara was the highligth of the show. The band was tight with a total of 8 members of the band including her siblings. Her vocals were strong throughout the show. Sara went on at 9pm and finished at 10:20pm. She cranked through hits like, As if, Born to fly, I could not ask for more, Perfect, Suds, a solid rendition of Cheap Tricks Surrender, and a remarkable cover of Elvis Presley's Suspicious Minds. My only criticism-I wish she played longer and sang Cheatin and Missing Missouri.

  • A Fun Country Show to See!

    by TeamJK731 on 9/2/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 4 out of 5

Although she only played for 70 minutes, the show was upbeat, fun and her voice sounded AMAZING live!

  • Sara is the best female country vocalist

by niskybob on 9/1/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was great, Sara's voice is one of the most unique in the country venue. The Lowell Auditorium has great acoustics and was easy to get in and out of the area. Sara used humor during her presentation which gave the performance a special touch. I would continue to go every year!

  • Sara Evans awesome yet again!

    by watergirl41 on 8/31/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 5 out of 5

It was a hot day in June when I saw Sara Evans under a small tent in Nashville for the first time. I had been wanting to see her in concert for about 8 years now and never got the chance...so I'm sure you can imagine what it was like to see her in Nashville. When the tickets to see her in Lowell came up I had to go....and she and her band were wonderful yet again! Great show!

  • Sara Evan's singing is Incredible!

by countryistheonlymusic on 8/31/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 4 out of 5

We had never been to Lowell Memorial Auditorium. It was a great venue for a singel performer. It is much smaller and more intimate than stadium concerts so there really isn't a bad seat in the place. Sara's performance was awesome! She talked and joked with the audience a bit more than most concerts that we've attended which was nice. She sang alot of her hits and a couple brand new songs. We were a little disappointed in the length of her show though. The concert ran from 8-10:15. She had an opening band so with the final set up for her band, she performed for less hour and 1/2. We hoped to hear more of her.

  • It was Great

I have been here a few times to see concerts, Sara Evans was great. I sat in the balcony this time and the seats were perfect.

Sara Evans was incredible! She was very vibrant and excited. I loved how she talked to the crowd, told us about her life and family, made jokes. She was excellent. Her voice was phenomenal and I can't wait to get her new CD! I will definitely see her again when she comes to the area.

  • Sara Evans Was Great!

by WeFive on 8/31/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 4 out of 5

She put on a fantastic show. I brought three kids with me (teens & pre), and they were clapping away the whole time. Great venue! She was very funny between songs too!

  • Sara talked too much

    by Angel45 on 8/31/09Lowell Memorial Auditorium - LowellRating: 3 out of 5

Overall, I was disapointed in Sara's show. She performed for less than an hour and a half. Not enough songs and too much talk.

Was the first time I saw Sara in Concert had a great time Would love to see her walk the Aisles of the Hall that she plays in. Have her come up with and intro song that her 2 Sisters sing before she comes out on Stage. Hope to see her on Sept 6 in woodstock CT. Was worth the 6 hour round trip to see her.
