San Francisco 49ers History
The San Francisco 49ers were established in 1946 as a member of the All-America Football Conference and later joined the NFL in 1950 when the leagues merged. Tony Morabito, founder of the San Francisco 49ers, was the sports pioneer of the West, bringing San Francisco its first major league team in a professional sports business that was dominated by the East Coast.
By 1979, the 49ers had won three NFC West Division Championships, but with the introduction of quarterback Joe Montana, the team quickly began to dominate the NFL. By 1981, the San Francisco 49ers won their first Super Bowl Championship (XVI) and would go on to repeat their Super Bowl Success in 1984 (XIX), 1988 (XXIII), 1989 (XXIV), and again in 1994 (XXIX).
By 2013, the 49ers once again found themselves playing in a Super Bowl Championship (XLVII) against the Baltimore Ravens. With a surprising loss of 31-34, the San Francisco 49ers left the Super Bowl for the first time without a victory. The team has produced a number of notable Hall of Fame players throughout its history, including Bob Saint Clair, Jimmy Johnson, Ronnie Lott, Dave Wilcox, Steve Young, Fred Dean, and Jerry Rice, alongside head coach Bill Walsh.

I look forward to traveling to the home opener every year. The staff at Levi’s always does a wonderful job keeping the place clean, safe, and giving us a great experience.
Great seats. Excellent view. Big screens enhance experience. Always a great thrill.
Best way to spend your money got my jersey signed by kittle
They display no sign as to wear to park. They dont tell you its prepaid parking. And the food and staff are rude. Save your money and go else where

The fans helped us out and jumped started it! The CHP refused to help us.
Easy to access tickets and enjoyed the game n my team Go Niners!!!
All was so nice 👍 The ambiance, the game, the staff and the weather was absolutely amazing !
Had such an awesome experience. Great game, and seats. 😎💯🙌 #niners4thewin #5-0
We got there early. The security check point and ticketing was quick and easy. Food was delicious although expensive. Great crowd presence. (We weren’t a fan of either team). Cool stadium. Only negative was the horrible souvenir cup. $11 for a clear plastic cup with a plain logo. Disappointing compared to other stadiums.
Traveled from Idaho and the experience was awesome and can’t wait to do it again
