We loved hearing Sammy Kershaw & Collin Raye! And the venue was great, as always!
I was really only looking forward to Sammy Kershaw and not Collin Raye. Boy was I wrong for that! I don't think there could have been a better team! They were amazing!! Sooooooo glad we went and saw them! If you get a chance don't pass on them!
Best experience ever. The building could use some renovations, but both headliners we spectacular. Could not have asked for a better show.
Excellent concert. You can't go wrong seeing these two guys in concert. High energy and a lot of fun. They had Saenger Theater rocking.
Overall the concert was great. The performs put on a great show. The only down side was the sound wasn’t up to par compared to previous events at the Saenger. The real downside though was that security was constantly running around trying to enforce the no filming and no standing rule which was much more distracting than people who were filming or standing. Looked like it almost led to some fights too. Just seemed unnecessary… it’s a concert, seems it would be ok to let folks enjoy it (within reason). Kershaw and Raye didn’t seem to have an issue with the crowd… in fact, they seemed to really enjoy them.
This concert was without a doubt one of the best I’ve ever been to! As someone who grew up on 90s country and is still obsessed, this was a dream. I expected Sammy and Collin to have separate acts but they both stayed on stage the entire time. It was so cool to see them sing backup on each other’s songs. Plus, they included some incredible covers I wasn’t expecting. It was so good that my husband (who had very little knowledge of either of the men beforehand) has been playing their music nonstop since we left! We have both promised to never miss a concert of theirs if it’s anywhere close to us!
He was ok, this was a dual show with Colin Raye. There was more talking between songs than one would like, and too many covers and newer songs sung at the expense of his better hits, also kind of over priced for who these guys are $50 dollars for the cheap seats is a lot for guys who only had a handful of hits, musicians like him typically charge 30 for the cheap seats…
Great seats great show its a great venue with an awesome view and ample parking!
Penns Peak is the best venue ever! I love coming there for concerts. Roots and Boots was great in 2019 when I saw them but they were amazing this time as well. I enjoy country singers that are country!!! Keep up great job Penns Peak!!! Suggestion of Chris Stapleton, Eric Church and Chris Janson!!!!
The venue is beautiful and the show is lively and funny! Sammy, Collin, and Aaron work well together and sounded great. The epitome of country music!
Great place the guys put on one hell of a show!!! Can’t wait to go back again!!!
We loved this venue! Beautiful scenery before the show. Drinks and food were good and priced well! We look forward to going to another show at Penn's Peak!
Penn's Peak was a home run. Great sound. Great auditorium. Nice people. The artists were very good. But the show was too short. Stand-alone 15 minute sets by each of the artists was not long enough. My wife and I went for Colin Raye. We like the other two artists, but Colin is who we love. I will visit Penn's Peak again (we live 3 hours away). We will search out Colin Raye perfoming on his own. One more thing. Colin was the only artist who used their microphone properly. We heard every word of Colin Raye's tunes. The other vocals were spotty at best.
Seats were nice; atmosphere was good Sound system may not have been at optimal
The Amp continues to bring in big talent that puts on a great show. Even on a night when the rain quit just as Sammy came on stage, this place was packed with country music fans, amazing for an outdoor venue!
They have a really nice place and we enjoyed the concert. Was disappointed that there was only one thing to eat. Parking was a nightmare and was a mile away. They need to get bigger van or a bus if they are going to transport people to the concert.
Not a bad seat in the house, even though the weather did not cooperate still had a great time
We danced and sang along! It was really something else!
Seen Sammy Kershaw several times I think this was his best performance yet!!
