Sammy was great! He's a good ol boy - funny, down to earth, and very talented. His voice is still good and strong! We had a great time reliving the old days and singing along to his multitude of hits!
Roots and boots was an amazing show. All three entertainers did and amazing job. Really hope they come this way again. I will for sure go. Thanks for bringing this talent to corpus.
I love Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippon @ Collin Raye. They were all so amazing and they all put on a great show!
The guys sang all of their hits and still have an excellent voice. Still sound like they did in the 90's
Aaron Tippin & Collin Rae was amazing! Just wish Sammy would have performed more songs. The tour is called Sammy & Friends, but it was more friends & Sammy
Loved ALL the performances, the band was great. Was very entertained the entire show. Would go again
Roots and Boots is an amazing show. I have seen them 3 times. This first time was the best and the next 2 times seemed rushed but still well worth it. Would definitely recommend.
The venue was great. Our seats were outstanding. Sammy still recovering from surgery didn’t perform a lot which was disappointing but Colin and Aaron were great.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Concert! Sammy, Aaron and Collin put on a terrific show. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves 90's Country!
We are from a very small town in Louisiana kaplan way South Louisiana
Puts on a wonderful show and that voice is one of a kind
Sammy ALWAYS puts on a great show. He is very fan friendly from the stage and I like that he tells stories about his career. He does most of his biggest hits from the past 30 years. I've seen him 24 times in concert and will be at number 25 in less than two weeks. He's the last of the real country music that is left. GO SEE HIM !!
Sammy K was as awesome as always! This was an impromptu decision to go and he did not disappoint.
We had amazing seats! The concert was great, it felt very intimate... Sammy and Collin asked the venue to keep the house lights ON so they could see the faces of the audience... it was really very nice!!!
The overall show was great. Now, had Sammy sang "Yard Sale"' it would had been a completely awesome show. I do admit Sammy nailed the George Jones "He Stopped Lovin Her Today". Collin was great, done all of his number one's. Overall, another great night and concert.
The opening act was great and the two of them together were a hit...
I love 90's country, and thought this would be a good concert. I was blown away - the sheer number of songs that they performed that brought back such memories! The opening act was awesome (and I'm not generally a fan of opening acts...) and both Sammy and Collin were exceptional! They both still have all their pipes - sounded the same - and were so interactive with the audience. It was truly one of the BEST concerts I've been to - and we go to a LOT of concerts!! If they get anywhere near you and you like 90's country, don't hesitate to go. You'll be so glad you did!!
The place, amenities, seats, surrounding, parking was excellent and so was Sammy Kershaw, Colin Raye, and Presley and Taylor
I bought tickets to this show because I have been a huge Collin Raye fan for years. But I walked away with a new respect and admiration for Sammy Kershaw as well. The opener was a sister duo out of Nashville, Presley and Taylor, and they were precious. There were a few sound issues (feedback, and a mic that kept cutting out) but the girls took it in stride and kept going. They had a great sound and had a good mix of covers and original songs to keep the audience engaged and warmed up for the main event. This acoustic show was the most fun I've had at a show in years! Kershaw and Raye volleyed back and forth singing their hit songs and telling stories. We got to hear all the old favorites, a few covers, and a new song or two. Kershaw's rendition of "He Stopped Loving Her Today" was phenomenal! The audience on hand for this show was very enthusiastic and obviously full of fans, because everyone was singing along and calling out requests. The performers fed off of that energy - Sammy told Collin he could "wait to do that thing" (the transition to the cover songs they apparently end the show with) - because he was having fun and wanted to keep going. I could have stayed all night listening to those guys sing and tell stories. It felt like sitting down and catching up with old friends. Couldn't have asked for a better show!
