SAM HUNT IN CONCERT:
Country newcomer Sam Hunt has quickly made a name for himself writing songs for icons like Keith Urban and Kenney Chesney, but lately it's his solo work that fans are buzzing about. The former college football star cuts a stylish figure at his live shows, where his smooth voice and acoustic guitar strumming always get hearts pumping and feet moving. Whether he's crooning the catchy "Leave the Night On" or performing the song "Cop Car" that he wrote for Keith Urban, Hunt keeps the energy high and the tunes flowing at his must-see performances.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Georgia-born Sam Hunt was an accomplished athlete before making his mark as a country musician. A talented quarterback, Hunt was on the starting lineup of two universities and was even signed as a free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs before his love for music drew him to Nashville. He signed a publishing deal soon after landing there, and before long was working with some of the best country artists in the business. In 2012 he co-wrote Kenny Chesney's chart-topping hit "Come Over", establishing himself as one of the brightest rising talents in the business. In 2013 he made his solo debut with the single "Raised On It" before dropping a 15-track mixtape titled Between the Pines. The release contained "Leave the Night On", a Top 20 hit on the US Hot Country Songs chart. Since then he's penned hits for Keith Urban and Billy Currington, demonstrating a wide-ranging songwriting talent that has fans and critics alike calling him the next big thing in country music.
Good job. I haven't heard him for several years. He did a very good job.
There we 5 of us that went to this concert and it was so worth it! None of us had ever seen Sam Hunt in concert before so this was a first for all of us and he did not disappoint! He came out into the crowd multiple times he even changed stages at one point and was sitting on a stool doing acoustic for a few songs and it was great! We had amazing seats as well which always helps! He had two people open for him one I had never heard of before and none of us were impressed with but the other was Brett Young and that was perfect! He also put on a great performance and really got us ready for Sam Hunt. All in all it was a night we will not soon forget!!!!!
I was very impressed with the concert and the effects.
JPJ knows how to throw a concert. From the parking to the venue experience to the quick exit to get home it was a stellar event. Can’t say enough about the quality of these artists. Have wanted to see all three for a few years and was ecstatic to see all at once. Could not have been more pleased by the experience. Sam Hunt did not disappoint. His songwriting and vocal talent is very evident. The only damper on the evening might have been that Ben & Jerry’s wasn’t open that night. Otherwise, 5 stars!!
While the artists were amazing. I was VERY DISAPPPOINTED in the set up..I know these artists like "pit"..but I was at Dan & Shay concert weeks before.. had front row tickets..which were still some what but the stage, as the display showed and the Pit area was more to the side..JPJ set up showed basically the same or better for Sam Hunt so I was sure to get 1st two seats right on front row..I was very mad to see a HUGE pit on the whole floor (which never filled up)..yet I paid a fortune for these seats and was a good 100' from the stage.. very, very disappointing. probably won't drive all the way to JPJ or invest in concerts there any more. Very misleading. Do a better job please JPJ...having folks that were obviously so intoxicated all in front of us dropping their drinks all over the floor and us, was NOT a good part of the evening.
This was my very first concert ever and I could not have asked for better! There was never a dull moment and everyone was fantastic. I hope Sam and Brett both come back to Charlottesville again soon
Great concert by 3 great artists. Lily Rose opened followed by Brett Young (1st time seeing him) and closing with Sam Hunt
From the opening act Liily Rose, to The awesome Brett Young, and then ended with Sam Hunt. All of them kept the audience on their feet and totally entertained!
Sam Hunt did an amazing performance. He came out into the audience twice and performed on smaller stage in back for people with not best seats. Brett Young was awesome. He had kids and wife on stage. Very good family man! Lily Rose was first time we heard of her and she is great singer and down to earth. Will def listen to more of her new songs coming out in May.
We had floor seats that were perfect for our group. Some guests forgot we were in public and not in a hotel but overall it was a great concert.
