Took my 8 year old granddaughter to see it. I wanted her to experience a traditional ballet. The performance was amazing! Highly recommend it!
While my family and enjoyed the performance, there were some things that were disappointing. First, there were no programs, I had to ask about a QR code and then one usher came around with an image to scan. The dancing was good. The sets and costumes had been updated from the originals which was also good. The music was very loud - at times way too loud. (Although it did cover up a lot of the noisy kids in the audience.). There were also several very noticeable pauses, silence, in the music between dances in the second act. Bows are expected but there were too many any they get dragged out. This performance just seemed less professional than in past years. Thanks for a way to give feedback.
Both acts where fun and enjoyable experience lots of colorful scenes and plenty of dancing holiday joy for the whole family
saw The Nutcracker - gorgeous theater. Had very good floor seats. Parking was easy. Enjoyed the presentation. Would have been helpful for planning to know the length of the performance. Could not find this info anywhere on the website.
My 5-year-old daughter loved it! Me and my husband also enjoyed it.
Brought our granddaughter and she was enthralled. Such a lovely performance in every regard. And such a talented dance group.
The dancing was excellent but the story was a little hard for an 8 year-old to follow. It could use a little more narration aimed at a young children.
I went out with my client to watch this show. Although my client had Dementia, but because she loves the show and was enjoying, it makes her stay till the end.
