  • B. Dolan and Sage Francis show

Show was off the hook! Everyone on the bill brought it and the crowd did too! Such a great night!

  • EPIC SHOW.

Sage has a ton of energy! He has a wonderful stage presence and cares about the people that come to see him. He walked out into the crowd after the show and hugged everyone. Stoked to be a part of this show.

  • Great artist, great venue

by CourtnieMarie on 3/17/15Great Scott - AllstonRating: 4 out of 5

Sage is very entertaining and none of his work is boring despite the lack of special effects he might use compared to a big name band. It was just him and his mac but his personality and performance standard was fantastic to watch. Very talented. Also love the Great Scott venue as a small, hole-in-the-wall type bar where you really feel up-close and personal with the performers. Would've given 5 stars but wasn't a huge fan of the opening artists.

  • Pain + Anger = Art

by Ryden on 6/27/10Webster Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This show was awesome. I listened to Sage Francis once before I went to the show and was really surprised come away with a funny, political and innovative "hip hop" experience. I hope he plays in new york more often because I had a lot of fun.

  • not so great for hip hop

by aviator207 on 6/23/10House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 4 out of 5

Artist: Sage Francis was on fire. He was promoting his new album LI(F)E. So he mostly performed songs from that. Although he did throw a few oldies in there for good measure. All in all great show. loved his performance. Venue: It was a nice place to see a show. Classy and all. However, it did not seem to me to be the right venue for an indie hip hop artist. It was almost too nice with not enough soul. The place claimed blues but did not feel bluesy if you know what i mean. All i can say is what i thought. Dont be afraid to check it out for yourself. p.s it is Downtown Houston so bring yo moneys if you want to drink.
