About

RUSH took rock music into uncharted territory and to unmatched heights fueled by the once-in-a-lifetime interplay of Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics). Selling over 45 million albums worldwide, garnering seven Grammy Award nominations, tallying billions of streams, and earning induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the pioneering trio’s incalculable influence has spanned generations, attracting one of the most ardent audiences in history. These musicians effectively reimagined and redefined rock without boundaries, striking a balance between elite instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyricism, and timeless storytelling both sonically and thematically. RUSH notably achieved “the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.” Furthermore, their accolades have included becoming Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, achieving the Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2012, and receiving recognition with both a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Peart on January 7, 2020 following his battle with brain cancer. Honoring Peart and the legacy the band had forged together, Lee and Lifeson celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It’s a moment for new listeners to finally experience this music live in all of its glory and another chance for the group’s faithful fanbase to rally again.

  • Disappointed in play list

by DCTexan on 6/2/15Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 3 out of 5

These guys are incredible musicians but when you play an anniversary tour I feel the playlist should have included songs that get more airplay. When you get to the Moving Pictures part of the concert it really picked up the audience with Tom Sawyer, YYZ and Spirit of Radio, but after that it lost it's energy. The R30 tour was much better.

  • Rush R40 was a great show.

    by Ramseyj513 on 6/2/15Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 5 out of 5

The holy trio put on a great show. Seeing Rush is something I can now cross off my bucket list.

  • RUSH!! Blast from my past!

by Absde on 6/2/15Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 5 out of 5

Got to share this experience with my twenty year old son who obviously has great taste in music! Great show, great music, beautiful place!

  • What a disappointment

by maltesemommy3 on 6/2/15Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park - AlpharettaRating: 1 out of 5

1- the parking at the venue was slow which made us late for the concert. 2- we were teens in the 70's and loved Rush music.... this night they chose to play music none in my group recognized. They preformed 1 song that would be considered "classic rock" 3-on one income we sacrificed to buy these tickets. What a waste of money.

  • Rush awesome, parking sux

by Toolrocks on 6/2/15Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 5 out of 5

Rush was spot on. Always great musicians and Geddy's voice is still hanging in there somehow. Heard a lot of stuff I've never gotten to hear live, in person. As always, getting in and out of Jiffy Lube is atrocious. Years ago I swore off this venue because of that. Rush was an exception.

  • Rush Was on Top of Their Game

by kelsonus on 6/2/15Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 5 out of 5

R40 tour from Jiffy Lube (if you have a chance to go to Jiffy Lube, live really close otherwise skip it) was a great surprise to me After seeing recent videos from concerts, I was concerned Geddy didn't have the vocal chops any longer; and was I ever wrong. Alex was and is phenominal Neil is Neil; the best The concept of the show was brilliant <spoliers> in that having the set diminish as the concert set list went back in time. Finishing with a red drape as if one was watching the boys in a VFW hall

  • Show was awesome but the venue was not

by MonkeyE on 6/2/15Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 5 out of 5

Great sets of songs and I am not a big fan of their recent stuff. However the venue parking and traffic flow is horrible. See RUSH 40 but avoid the Jiffy Lube Live in VA.

  • Go!!!!

by wonover on 6/2/15Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 5 out of 5

Cygnus X-1, Jacob's Ladder, Xanadu, 2112...there's nothing else to say. It should be illegal to be this good, have that much fun, and get paid for it!!! Phenomenal

  • AWESOME as always

by SignOfEth on 6/2/15Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 5 out of 5

Great show; great setlist; great production. Wish I could see it again!

  • Another amazing Rush concert!

    by 300ProofBassman on 6/2/15Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 4 out of 5

Like a journey back thru time, they played some songs I haven't heard them perform live in years. The light show and sound were exceptional, the only hiccup occurred when Alex's gold top Les Paul stopped working, but that was immediately replaced without missing much.

  • Working Men!

by Hillbillywill on 6/2/15Jiffy Lube Live - BristowRating: 5 out of 5

First time to see Rush in concert. I've listened to them for 30 years. They entered the stage and began to lite it up for three hours. Neil Pert is amazing and these guys are absolutely timeless. My wife loved it. Great to see Rock Royalty at their best.

  • 40+ shows seen and always pleased

by COAZ on 6/1/15American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

The R40 tour is a favorite for those of us who have been around for several decades. The song selection, and the stage deconstruction would be lost on anyone who is a recent fan. That's ok, because the boys still do what they do best, put on an excellent show. Being a longterm fan is only a bonus - viewing the nuances throughout the show. Multiple shows planned this tour, a few already seen, can't wait for the next round. The boys deserve all the applause Rush fans can give them. They've given us 40 years of entertainment that will never be forgotten or replicated.

  • Rush was amazing!

by DebinSC on 6/1/15Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing them. Rush fans are very loyal, and the crowd proved it by standing the whole time and reacting to each and every song. Those three men are amazing artists. The music took you to another place. Just fantastic!

  • Blown away again

    by RedSector2112 on 6/1/15Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 25th show, and it never gets old. Since this might be the last big tour, I wasn't going to miss a chance to see my favorite band. Go see them while you still can!

  • Rush was awesome

by Ruth714 on 6/1/15Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park - AlpharettaRating: 5 out of 5

Of the 12 times I have seen them, the best set list ever!

  • by rolldabones on 6/1/15Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park - AlpharettaRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing sound, Geddy's voice was great, the video footage was great - Peter Dinklage (AKA Tyrion Lannister) on Roll the Bones rap was perfect! Great set list for old and new fans alike. Jacob's Ladder was perfect. Great show, these guys put on a spectactular performance!

  • Rush was transcendental!

by quiltkitty on 6/1/15Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park - AlpharettaRating: 5 out of 5

This was hands down the best concert that I have ever been to. Rush was absolutely amazing! Every song was fabulous! It took me a couple of days to come back down to reality.

  • Rush kills it !!

by JOEROCKSALOT on 6/1/15Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

Rush put on a Great show! Play 2 1/2 hrs of old and new music.... And they were flawless! Go see them before they stop touring!!!

  • Awesome, very enjoyable show!!!

by StvK on 5/31/15Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I have seen Rush. It was an awesome show, with variety, musicianship and memories. These guys are just great. What a fun evening. Loved hearing the music, old and new. The video projections and camera work added to the show as well. I hope to see Rush again. Thank you Rush for an awesome evening of music!!

  • RUSH Needs a sound engineer

by MarshallLaws on 5/31/15Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 3 out of 5

Well, for a band that is as huge as RUSH I would think that their sound would be mixed perfectly. Not so much. Geddy's vocals were not loud enough, and I don't believe that I ever heard Neil's ride. I could sure see him working it, but I never did hear it. The overall tone of the mix was just flat. Not impressed at all. Nor was I impressed with the cramped seating. I could not straighten my legs out unless I stood up. Not a very enjoyable night. The band is great. Of course you already knew that. It's RUSH, but the poor sound quality made for a very long evening.
