RuPaul's Drag Race on Tour
Even beamed into people's living rooms through their TVs, RuPaul's Drag Race is one of the biggest and most fabulous shows on Earth — it was only a matter of time before its cavalcade of queens ended up in Las Vegas. Specifically, they took up residence at the Flamingo, in a room that for more than a decade hosted the Donny & Marie variety show. A far more colorful and extremely ambitious production, RuPaul's Drag Race LIVE! involves big dance numbers, wild wardrobe changes, all-star catwalk crawls, vicious lip-sync battles and, well, a "bitch-slap" competition that calls for audience involvement. The mission is to make fans feel like they're in the middle of an interactive episode taping — a rotating cast of beloved queens previously seen on the show partakes in a series of challenges, performances and face-offs. The crowd determines a winner via the Clap-O-Meter, an outsize applause measurement device made to look like big lips and a giant tongue. The choreography comes from longtime Ru pal Jamal Sims (Step Up, the Oscars, live-action Aladdin) and is set to tunes previously heard on the series (think Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Britney Spears) as well as new original music from RuPaul, producer Leland and Tom Campbell. Meanwhile, the vibrant and often delightfully absurd sets transport viewers to a veritable wonderland of neon sass.
RuPaul's Drag Race in Concert
RuPaul's Drag Race debuted on Logo TV in 2009 and became an instant hit. It didn't hurt that the show's host, mentor and head judge was already the most famous and beloved drag queen the world had ever known, but the series quickly demonstrated its power to captivate audiences of all backgrounds and launch incredibly colorful new stars. By the time it kicked off its 12th season in 2020, the reality competition series had been nominated for 23 Emmys and won nine, not to mention increased awareness and (rabid) appreciation of drag culture, as well as gifted unto the world such truly inspired queens as Trixie Mattel, Bianca Del Rio and Alaska Thunderf*ck 5000. In 2017, RuPaul's Drag Race leapt to VH1 and also off of the screen via the Werq the World tour. That larger-than-life spectacle proved to be a hit, running for years and also paving the way for RuPaul's Drag Race LIVE! in Las Vegas, starring show alumni Yvie Oddly, Aquaria, Asia O'Hara, Derrick Barry, the Pit Crew and many more.
The vibe is strong, highly professional. People love the show, me too. The nerve eating feature was that I purchased tickets in January when planning my trip but received them in July, only 24 hours before the performance. I would have expected a proper reasoning for that. For every other shows tickets were available immediately after purchase.
I'm a faithful fan of RuPaul Drag Race. To see it live was astonishing. The show was upbeat and hilarious. It did not disappoint. I traveled from PA to Vegas just to see the show, and it was well worth that long flight..lol.
It was fun and happy attending. At the far end it was too much advertising during the show for xtra products etc. which I didn t like or expect, cause it suggests that all the show is about getting to attendees money and not about having a good time together. Whatsoever great performances by the actors/showmen and women and good fun, carpe diem
Entertaining show. The venue needs to hire more bartenders. We were there early, but security was extra intrusive and then the beverage line was extremely long, so we missed the first five minutes of the show. Better show than I was expecting.

I am a huge fan of RuPauls Drag Race and was not disappointed. Asia O’Hara was great and so was Jada Essence Hall. The Pit Crew was nice to look at too. I had not known Lawrence Cheney, but am a fan now. Thanks for spreading joy and being the best part of my trip.

I loved the entire show. It was high energy throughout and showcased each performers taste but in a Vegas way. The girls showed up and showed out. I didnt know the British Queen and I thought overall she was maybe a bit lackluster but still loved it .
RuPauls DragRace Live was so wonderful and amazing. Love how they interact with the crowd, makes you feel involved, wanted and excepted in every way. Would so go again. These QUEENS SLAYED, THEY BROUGHT IT! Overall i would say it was the best show I’ve seen in Vegas yet. Thank You Asia O'Hara, BABY YOU MAKE THE SHOW WHAT IT IS!
I have been to a few shows like this and this one was the best! Very professional and the MC, Suzie Toot, was fantastic. She was wonderful.
Everything RuPaul does is so very professional and the Las Vegas show does not disappoint! It's a very entertaining evening and my second time to see the show!
The show was great, but we had booth seats and I was miserable and actually left the show early because the seating was so tight. The booth should really only have 3 people, but they sold tickets for 5 and I couldn’t even cross my legs it was so tight.
The vibe of this show is insane! From crowd participation to the choreography from the Queens it was incredible! Awesome music synced with skillful dance moves it was a sight to behold! It was funny, classy and definitely sassy! 🤣 if you have a chance to see this show definitely do so, the vibe of it is just so fulfilling and fun, even If you not a fan of Rupauls drag race it is still worth it to go see it! If you are a fan then you better get busy and get to this show because my wife is a fan and she had an absolute blast! One word of warning though, while the showroom it is in has been steeped in history, it is also showing its age. The seating is very tight, the booth we were in held 5 people and let me tell you we got to know them VERY well whether we wanted to or not. Still 5 stars for the poppin party, seriously could not have been more fun!
With all the hype the room and production was ok. Disappointed that it wasnt more exciting

What a great night at Drag race, funny entertaining and full of talented queens what more could you ask for. Really enjoyed it . Saw it 3 years ago and it was nice to see someone saying something different queens and that some of the songs were different. So nice to see it change it up to keep it fresh and new
