Barely Worth the Ticket Price
by Texaschick on 8/25/25Rating: 2 out of 5The show was advertised as running from 7 to 10 p.m., but it started after 8 p.m. with no explanation. The emcee's voice was piercing because she was yelling into the microphone in a very small room, and the sound levels were never adjusted. This was a major issue because the performances themselves were very short, only 3 to 4 minutes each. With only 7 performances over the two hours, the majority of the time was spent listening to the emcee speak.
In addition, there were no group performances, and the individual acts were repetitive, with each performer doing the same set of "tricks". While the performers themselves were lovely, the overall experience was very disappointing. The combination of arriving at 6:30 p.m. to get good seats (as is customary for HOB GA events), waiting an hour and a half for the show to start, paying for parking, and then only getting 30 minutes of actual performance over two hours was highly irritating.
