RuPaul's Drag Race on Tour
Even beamed into people's living rooms through their TVs, RuPaul's Drag Race is one of the biggest and most fabulous shows on Earth — it was only a matter of time before its cavalcade of queens ended up in Las Vegas. Specifically, they took up residence at the Flamingo, in a room that for more than a decade hosted the Donny & Marie variety show. A far more colorful and extremely ambitious production, RuPaul's Drag Race LIVE! involves big dance numbers, wild wardrobe changes, all-star catwalk crawls, vicious lip-sync battles and, well, a "bitch-slap" competition that calls for audience involvement. The mission is to make fans feel like they're in the middle of an interactive episode taping — a rotating cast of beloved queens previously seen on the show partakes in a series of challenges, performances and face-offs. The crowd determines a winner via the Clap-O-Meter, an outsize applause measurement device made to look like big lips and a giant tongue. The choreography comes from longtime Ru pal Jamal Sims (Step Up, the Oscars, live-action Aladdin) and is set to tunes previously heard on the series (think Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Britney Spears) as well as new original music from RuPaul, producer Leland and Tom Campbell. Meanwhile, the vibrant and often delightfully absurd sets transport viewers to a veritable wonderland of neon sass.
RuPaul's Drag Race in Concert
RuPaul's Drag Race debuted on Logo TV in 2009 and became an instant hit. It didn't hurt that the show's host, mentor and head judge was already the most famous and beloved drag queen the world had ever known, but the series quickly demonstrated its power to captivate audiences of all backgrounds and launch incredibly colorful new stars. By the time it kicked off its 12th season in 2020, the reality competition series had been nominated for 23 Emmys and won nine, not to mention increased awareness and (rabid) appreciation of drag culture, as well as gifted unto the world such truly inspired queens as Trixie Mattel, Bianca Del Rio and Alaska Thunderf*ck 5000. In 2017, RuPaul's Drag Race leapt to VH1 and also off of the screen via the Werq the World tour. That larger-than-life spectacle proved to be a hit, running for years and also paving the way for RuPaul's Drag Race LIVE! in Las Vegas, starring show alumni Yvie Oddly, Aquaria, Asia O'Hara, Derrick Barry, the Pit Crew and many more.
The Queens were amazing!!!! It was upbeat and fun!!! The ladies put on an amazing show!!! Loved the how they kept the audience engaged!!! It was an experience worth seeing!!!!
We’ve seen so many shows in Las Vegas over the years. And if you’re a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, run (don’t walk) to see this show before it leaves the strip. Latrice Royale was the host on Saturday night, August 26, 2023 at 7 PM, and the cast included Pangina, Kennedy Davenport and Derrick Berry (just to name a few). We got front row seats and it was so worth it. We could see every expression and all the attractive back up Pit Crew dancers (many of whom used to be in the Magic Mike show on the strip, so these guys can dance and are very easy in the eyes). It’s definitely an 18 and older show, and even though the drinks are a bit of a rip off (the House of Love can cocktails are a huge miss and not as tasty as the real cocktails at the bar so go for a real hard stiff drink instead of the House of Love cocktail). Other than that, no complaints whatsoever. We definitely plan to return to see this show again, as a new cast would elicit even more fun and laughs all around I’m sure. Thanks Mama Ru!! 😂💕🥂
100% worth the money, this show was amazing! We had Latrice for host and they were fantastic.
The show was wonderful, light, costumes, sound, all amazing!
The show was incredible. Worth every penny. Just be prepared for cold enviroment and bring some warm clothes.

This show was a perfect way to end my vacation in Las Vegas. I was very excited and loved every minute of the show and the performances. Excellent job to the teams who made this show!
What a great show it. So much fun! Went with a group of five and we all had a blast. The drinks are strong and so is the drag. Show yourself some love and check out this show while you’re in Vegas. You will not be disappointed!

I attended the show in October of 2020 and again on 8/25 2023. I was nervous that the cast would be tired and done with the show seeing it’s been on the strip for a few years now. I was wrong! The only cast member that was still here from 2020 was Derrick berry who is my favorite! LOVE that they rotate the queens so you get a variety. We saw Latrice, Derrick, Coco, Pangina, Kennedy Davenport, and Yara Sofia and they were great! What a show. Made the trip! I will say, I was not a fan of the seating. The booths are small and could at max seat 4 people, not 7 like they are currently doing. I was cramped and could not move at all. Other than that, great show.
It was amazing. Such a fun night! So much laughter and celebration in one room! It was like one big party! I loved it
Everything I hoped for and more. The only thing is they should have more than 1 merch stand. The line was going up the stairs which isn’t the safest. But the performance was amazing and the visuals were beautiful. Will definitely go again next year.
The show was amazing! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was when picking the seats, the map didn’t really show that if you have balcony seats in row B that your view would be obstructed. Usually when you’re in a venue on the balcony there is no issue with the view.
Really enjoyed the show! It was well worth it. Laughed and danced a lot! I will definitely recommend it to friends visiting Vegas!
omg!!!! best night ever!! i even met Asia, got to tell her we love all the queens here in Charleston, and to please come back, we have to support beautiful people all over this world. i will defiantly be purchasing any tickets for drag. Bring em on!! i took my two roommates and we had a LARGE TIME. Thank you so much for a memory of a life time!!!

went to see werq the world in charlotte, and it was my first drag show ever! i've been watching drag race for years now so i was absolutely ecstatic and i ended up being so amazed with the whole concert and it's production. i was even lucky enough to be able to get an autograph from asia o'hara at the end of the show! i definitely recommend taking a night out to go to one of these events, it's worth the money!
