    The “Rumors” were not true….

    by ACesare on 8/9/23

This was the first time I’d seen Rumours perform. It will be my last, I’d heard positive reviews from other people and was excited to see them , as I’m a big Fleetwood Mac fan. First of all, a few of the members played their own original music as an opener, delaying the actual show by an hour. Honestly, they were off-key and we didn’t enjoy the music. Once the full band got on stage they played some Fleetwood Mac covers, but also played their own music in between. I was not impressed as this was billed as a tribute band ! I didn’t pay to see a cover band play their own unimpressive music. I paid to see them perform Fleetwood Mac‘s greatest hits. Also, I have to mention that the general admission standing arrangement was a hot mess. We had arrived 45 minutes early to secure a spot on the floor where we could see the band. When members of our party left to go to the bathroom or get a drink, we were told that we could not get back down to our other friends on the floor, where we had been standing all evening. The security guard told us we had to wait in line behind 100 people who are waiting to get down there too! That made no sense, was not communicated to us and was quite infuriating! This also detracted from my enjoyment of the evening. I see shows often at various venues around Atlanta and have never experienced anything as disappointing as this. On a positive note, the bar staff was excellent!

    Disappointing

    by Maverick on 8/8/23

This was the first time I’d seen Rumours perform. I’d heard many positive reviews from other people and was pumped, as I’m a big Fleetwood Mac fan. First of all, a few of the members played their own original music as an opener, delaying the actual show by an hour. Honestly, they sounded off-key and I didn’t enjoy the music. Once the full band got on stage they played some FM covers, but also played their own music in between. A friend who was with me said she had never seen them do that before, and she had attended several of their shows. I was not impressed and neither was she! I didn’t pay to see a cover band play their own unimpressive music. I paid to see them perform Fleetwood Mac‘s greatest hits. Yacht Rock doesn’t play their own music, they only play covers. That made no sense and was quite infuriating! This also detracted from my enjoyment of the evening. I go see shows quite often at various venues around town and have never experienced anything as disappointing as this. The only good thing I can say is that the bar staff was friendly and on point.

not as good as they used to be, very disappointed

    by muffin on 8/8/23

I have seen this band several times. This show was not up to par. The guy doing Lindsey Buckinham was horrible. Mckensie hardly sang until the very end. Opening band was even worse.

    Meh

    by michb on 8/8/23

The ticket said 8pm. At 8pm an opening band came on and I was not a fan at all. Thankfully I upgraded to the VIP Lounge so was able to sit on a couch in AC waiting for Rumours. Around 9:15 they came on the stage and I went to my general admission standing seats. There were all kinds of audio feedback and it generally did not sound great. I went back up to the VIP Lounge and watched some more of the concert from there on the TV. The TV eliminated the screeching and feedback. At 10:30, I kind of had enough and left the show early. I love Fleetwood Mac and thought I would love this band, not sure if it was the venue that was off or what but just didn't feel it.

    Absolutely Incredible!

    by AubreyC on 8/8/23

As a huge fan of Fleetwood Mac and a regular concert goer, I can say that this band's talent is undeniable. It was as though I was seeing Fleetwood Mac themselves! I will definitely be seeing them again if they come back to Atlanta. Absolutely incredible evening.

    THE Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band

    by GaryT on 8/8/23

My wife and I have seen them twice, and they really are THE Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band. I saw Fleetwood Mac at Three Rivers Stadium in 2976 and Rumors took me back there. Highly recommend seeing them if you have the chance.

    Not the Best Cover Band

    by Steve K on 8/8/23

The opening act for the Rumors Tribute band was not good. Then, Rumors Tribute band was a C+. The vocals were spotty and many of instrumentals were off in terms of sounding like the original songs. We have seen a lot of tribute bands (Abba, Get the Led Out, John Bonham Zep Experience, Australian Pink Floyd and others) that we really enjoyed. This was a disappointment. We left early.

Great show - all the hits!

    by BrianB on 8/8/23

If you like Fleetwood Mac, this is definitely worth checking out. Highlights: Landslide (beautiful, sounds like the real thing), Second Hand News (one of my favorite songs), The Ledge (cheers for going a little deeper into the catalog).

    Good show

    by Bob on 7/6/23

Good show but their sound was different than what I hear on YouTube. Seems to be a couple of musicians short. 1 keyboard, 1 guitar.

Good music too long a wait

    by Robert on 7/5/23

Waited almost 2 1/2 hours for Rumors to start Opening band started an hour late and we didn’t like them. Would have been a good show if we got there 2 hours late. We were exhausted after standing for four hours and left before the end of the show.

    Rumours show

    by Steve on 7/5/23

The preshow was awful and the show started 2 1/2 hours after it was scheduled to begin. They want you to come and drink and spend money on drinks but the show is not very good

    Wouldn’t go back

by Love Rumors. Didn’t love this venue on 7/5/23

We have seen Rumors dozens of times. Loved every show. This was the first time we have seen them at the Stone Pony. Tix said 7pm. There was no info regarding opening act. We got there at 7. unknown opener on at 8ish. No sign of Rumors until 9ish. People were rude and it was impossible to get a drink. Won’t be going back.

    Rumors 7/2/2023

    by Lynn on 7/5/23

Rumors is an unbelievable tribute band to Fleetwood Mac who I have seen before at Daryll's Place. Being a first timer at The Stone Pony and looking forward to it - I was very disappointed. No information was given on the phone nor in the post as to when doors opened, opening acts, etc. So myself along with 50 other people (estimated) that I encountered waiting on line (I was there by 530 thinking the doors opened at 6 and band went on at 7) found out the hard way - that doors were opening at 7! OK band on at 8 - nope! Doors opened at 645ish and found out there was an opening act and Rumors didnt go on until 9. I left at 1130ish and they were still going. Love that but didn't plan for that and had a long drive home. So more info would have been appreciated before buying tickets and if anything changed before the day of the concert.

    RUMORS ATL

by Bill on 6/26/23The Joy Theater - New Orleans

The group was very accessible, and visible from anywhere in the venue, sound was good if had to say anything negative would be needed to have the front bar open to make it faster to get drinks. But all in all a excellent experience and would go to the joy again and defently would go see Rumors Atl again

    GREAT Tribute Show!

by ScgUS55 on 6/26/23The Joy Theater - New Orleans

Rumours is spot on as a Fleetwood Mac tribute band. The vocals are spot on and the instrumentation was VERY impressive - even the movements of the vocalists were reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac members. It was a great vibe and a high energy show in a great venue - would definitively see this show again!!

    Awesome Show

by Montie on 6/26/23The Joy Theater - New Orleans

Great show! 2 plus hours of all the hits by Fleetwood Mac from a fantastic sounding cover band! Wife and I had a great time and are definitely looking forward to the band coming back. Buy a ticket, close your eyes, and prepare to have your ears amazed!!

Best Kept Secret in the South

    by Michael A. on 4/19/23

We saw Rumours-ATL in Wilmington, NC on 01/28/23 at Thalian Hall. This group was fantastic. Played an array of Fleetwood Mac songs and you felt as if you were seeing Fleetwood Mac live. The group played 20+ songs with two encores. The venue was small which added to the intimacy of the group. Great Job.

    Fleetwood Mac ATL Tribute Band

by ColemanBarbie30 on 4/10/23Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - Spartanburg

This was the first concert that my 2 daughters and their best friend had ever been to! It was a wonderful experience for all of us... We had so much fun. All of the band members were FANTASTIC! The lead singer playing Stevie Nicks was wonderful... Her voice is so soothing and unique just like Stevies... So I was very impressed with how much she sounded like her. One of my favorites was when she sang GYPSY... She dressed, looked, and acted just like Stevie in the GYPSY video. Her shaw even looked exactly the same. LOL>> My daughters Destiny and Kensley loved her and they also liked the lady who was playing Christine... The young man playing Lindsey was an awesome guitarist... I was kinda hoping to hear BIG LOVE, but its ok, was still great!... The drummer playing MIck was awesome as well! Everyone in the band was just amazing! I hope to get some front row seats the next time we see them... I would have liked for our seats to have been a little bit better, but our seats werent bad. We will definetly be seeing them again soon... I will be inviting alot of family members and friends to see them as well!
