    Great for kids

by GmaMK on 12/12/16Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

It was word for word like the favorite tv special so the kids loved it. Acting was fair but it was all about the kids. That's all that really matters. It was a nice outing

Rudolph was close to the tv show

by Basal on 12/7/16Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The performance was very good. I took my 90 year old mother, who has Alzheimer's, to see this. She can relate to childlike or simple shows so I felt this would be good. Between the price of the show, which we had to sit close so she could see and pay attention, along with the parking cost made this a pricey event. Due to the crowd she was unable to bring her walker in so I had to hold her up. This was not good for my back as I recently had surgery.

    Rudolph the Musical

by MDPkate on 12/7/16Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

My daughter saw the ads for this on television a couple months ago and immediately declared that we HAD to see it. Always preferring live theater to a movie, I purchased tickets but honestly, had low expectations. My parents and I attended with her and were all thrilled with the show. My five-year-old was completely captivated, wondering why they stopped at intermission because she was so entertained. It is a great mixture of screen and stage, characters are done so well and what a great message at Christmas! Highly recommend.

My 7 and 9 year old boys loved the performance. I did too. . It was a perfect way to enjoy the holiday. The kids enjoyed the actors, the singing, the dancing. They were clapping super good after each song! I loved watching them watch the show.

    Rudolph - great experience!

by rudyfan on 12/6/16Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

My daughters and I attended the show (they are both older in their 20's) but we are huge Rudolph fans. It's a tradition to watch it every year from my parents to me to my children and I couldn't let another year go by without seeing the show. We were like children overjoyed at seeing Rudolph fly, Abominable (he was huge to our delight), misfit toys, Yukon Cornelius, the Snowman and other characters come to life was a joy. It made me smile inside so glad we decided to come!

This was a cute production, my children (7, 8, and 10) enjoyed it very much. It wasn't too long and held their attention for the whole thing.

Good show for the kids but make sure your seats are with a straight on view.of stage or you will miss some of the action and characters.

    So much fun

by Dimplerose on 11/26/16Baton Rouge River Center Theater - Baton Rouge

I love Christmas so I always watched rudolf with my kids and when I was a kid. The story line goes exactly like the show I always watched. The effects they could pull off with the screen around the stage was great. the cast was great. The way they matched the voices of the characters was so good. Just a great show. Hope they come back next year so I can take my grandson.

    Rudolph was Awesome!

by Donotmesswithmyangel on 11/18/16Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

Rudolph the Musical was great. The surrounding audience, however, left much to be desired. Please be aware, if you attend, that there will be plenty of children attending as well. Remember that continuously throwing nasty looks over your shoulder at children who aren't as perfect as your "little angel" only incites the aunts of our "little angel" to want to rip your fake blonde hair out from the roots and to tell you to swivel your skinny little exorcist neck back toward the stage because we don't need your evil eyes watching our sweet, tired little one.
