The singer were great!! Had a lot of technical difficulties with the sound at time it was hard to hear the person preforming.
Regina Belle and Denise Williams did not show without notice to audience, overall enjoyed others.
The show was horrible! The sound was bad. The lighting was bad. The overall production was the worst I had seen. The only good things were the female MC and Rose Royce.
That was the worst concert I have ever attended. I was so disappointed that Regina Belle and Denice Williams did not perform. That was the only reason I wanted to attend.
Overall good show. GQ as a single man highlight took the show!! all other oldies artist did good especially for their age. Only DISAPPOINTMENT: Rolls Royce. How are you going to highlight a show without your band. Playing a sound track?? Really??
great time going down memory lane.... only con was that an inconsiderate NON STOP female talked the ENTIRE 1st hour; we finally had to move. good thing there were other empty seats comparable to the ones we paid for.
This event was amazing! Concert was over 5 hours of pure love songs that we grew up with!! Reminded me of my mom and dad slow dancing at every wedding, quince and house parties. We loved it!
This was the best concert of the year. These folks had energy and they could sing. There was pure talent without foul language. Everyone was friendly and in a good mood; it could be called, "The Feel Good Concert." It was so good that someone proposed and got an answer if yes. It was beautiful.
This show started out great and kept it going for hours! All acts used a real band, then Rolls Royce came on stage with only 3 members of the group...only one of the 3 was from the original band, and to top it off, they used recorded music...no band! I remember Rolls Royce being a band. They were the only bad performance...it was worth seeing the others.

This was a long and boring concert. I did not see Rose Royce, but I did see everyone except the last two acts. I was extremely disappointed, there were too many performers to enjoy. Then they performed too many song in their sets. It had been 4hours of boredom than I gave up and went home. The seats made my rear end scream, they were for minature people and my friend was also fatigued from this event.
This concert cannot be outdone! No way! I have been to many concerts and this one on Feb. 20, 2016, will be the most memorable one. It took me back to when I was a little girl, all the way to my grown years. It made me cry and laugh. Took me beyond my most inner sensitive feelings. Then it took me to a place in time, when I could not stop dancing, so I got up and brought life to my legs, once again. OMG, I have never been on such an emotional rollercoaster! I thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my other 5 guests that accompanied me to the show! AWESOME!!!
An incredible evening, all the artists were simply awesome. ...could not sit throughout out the show....dancing all night....and the House band was amazing. ...
Rose Royce was promoted as the headliner for this concert but they were not--STRIKE ONE. The band pictured in the promos for this event (see photo above) was no where to be found--STRIKE TWO. What we got instead was a trio of mediocre karaoke singers (bait-and-switch) that sang to a track even though every act prior to them had been backed by an awesome band---STRIKE THREE. Even though "Rose Royce" was the 2nd to last act of the night they still managed to close out the evening for A LOT of concert goers as many of us walked out during their performance. So many people left early that it took a full 20 minutes to exit the parking lot, even under the direction of the local police department. Though I wouldn't recommend the line up as it is, I would absolutely recommend a concert that included Bloodstone, The Intruders, The Floaters and possibly Heatwave and Peaches and Herb.
Rekindled our marriage of 30 years!!! We felt young again with songs: Sabor A Mi by El Chicano, Heatwave Always & Forever; Together The Intruders; Peaches and Herb, I Pledge My Love; Natural High Bloodstone; Barbara Lewis, and all the rest the! Awesome performance!! Great old school memories!! Alamodome / tech team * PA System microphones needed to be turned up on singers. Not quite on cue.
My favorite acts were Floaters and GQ. All Acts were good though!!
The wife and I went to the event for a get away and the line-up was amazing, The Intrulers was the best performance and they sounded great. The Floaters, Rose Royce, GQ, and Heatwave and Bloodstone did a great job. We will be again next year.
The one earlier in the year was much better. This one had too many artists sitting down due to be older in age and having just recovered from stroke and heart attack. Also, I hate an announcer that starts to sing a song that the artist he is introducing is about to perform. Super Love Jam owes me one.
I had an awesome time! All the groups brought back some great memories and took me back to a great time in my life!!
We were so glad we went to this concert. We had a great time. The music and groups were fantastic. The employees of the Alamodome made us feel welcome and security was top notch. We could relax, enjoy the music and know that we were safe. It was awesome. Yes I would go again.
