Comedian Ron "Tater Salad" White first rose to fame as the cigar-smoking, scotch-drinking funnyman from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour phenomenon, but now as a chart-topping Grammy-nominated comedian and a feature film actor, Ron White has established himself as a star in his own right. White has always been a classic storyteller. His stories relay tales from his real life, ranging from growing up in a small town in Texas to sharing stories of his daily life to becoming one of the most successful comedians in America. He has sold over 14 million albums (solo and with the Blue Collar Comedy Tour), been nominated for two Grammys, and has consistently been one of the top grossing stand up comedians on tour in America.
Ron White began performing comedy in 1986 and was quickly opening for legendary comedians Sam Kinison and Jeff Foxworthy. While eventually making the rounds as a comedy club headliner, in 2000, White was asked to join the Blue Collar Comedy Tour alongside Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy. The show toured for over three years to sold-out audiences in over 270 cities and grossed more than $35 million. In 2003, Warner Brothers filmed the show, Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie for a theatrical/TV/DVD/CD release. The film premiered as the most-watched movie in Comedy Central's history. In 2005, the video Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again was filmed and released on TV and DVD/CD.
In November of 2003, White released his breakthrough comedy CD Drunk In Public followed by his first one-hour TV comedy special They Call Me Tater Salad. The special had the highest viewership for a Sunday program in Comedy Central history. The DVD version reached #1 on the Billboard Comedy Chart. White's second one-hour special You Can't Fix Stupid aired on Comedy Central to 4.5 million viewers, making it the third largest audience in Comedy Central's history and the #1 show on primetime basic cable. The CD reached #1 on the Billboard Comedy Charts and remained there for 9 consecutive weeks. This success also earned White his first Grammy nomination. Ron received his second Grammy nod for the show Blue Collar Comedy Tour - One for The Road. In June 2006, Penguin Books released Ron's first book Ron "Tater Salad" White: I Had the Right to Remain Silent...But I Didn't Have the Ability, which landed him on the New York Times Best Seller List. In 2009, Ron released his 3rd album Behavioral Problems, which reached #1 on the Billboard Comedy Chart. In 2013 Ron's 4th album, A Little Unprofessional, also reached #1 on the Billboard Comedy Chart. Never one to rest on his laurels, Ron White partnered with Netflix to release his most recent effort- the highly successful comedy special, "If You'd Quit Listening, I'd Shut Up."
As an actor, Ron White has had supporting roles in the major theatrical films Horrible Bosses and Sex and the City 2. He also had a principal role in Jayne Mansfield's Car (written/directed by Billy Bob Thornton). He was a co-Executive Producer of Bridegroom, a Linda Bloodworth-Thomason documentary, which debuted at the 2013 NYC Tribeca Film Festival and won the Audience Award. In 2016, Ron White's acting talents were showcased alongside Luke Wilson, Carla Gugino, and Imogen Poots, in music-industry veteran Cameron Crowe's Showtime series, Roadies. White played road-tested tour manager Phil in a critically praised performance.
Live performances on a comedy stage remain the life-blood of Ron White, and after all these years, the fans still can't get enough. White maintains a rigid touring schedule, and plays to sold out crowds all over the country night after night. The industry also continues to take notice; in 2021, Ron White was nominated as Pollstar's Comedy Touring Artist of the Decade.

This show was great,I didn't know what to expect and it was awesome!
We enjoyed his show immensly. We will go see him again any time.
Ron White has always been my favorite of the Blue Collar Comedy team and he didn't let us down at the show. I would highly recommend Ron White to any adult that needs a good laugh!
He was so funny! Kept me laughing the entire time! And his "opening act" was really great, too! I would definitely go see him again!
Ron White was great to see live. His show was very entertaining BUT it is exactly the current material running on Comedy Central (Behavioral Problems). Granted, there is a little more added since the show is longer than the cable special but jokes are identical for the most part. The guy opening for him was worth going to see! I wish I could remember his name - he too is on Comedy Central - really funny.
Ron White at his best. Great improv too. Definitely will go back when he is here.
Great show, great venue! Ron White keeps you laughing!
This is one funny man! We were hurting from the moment he took his first sip. Grab a drink and join in the fun. He is worth traveling to see, we live in Houston and made a mini vacation around Ron's concert.
Funnier and nastier than his HBO Special. Good commedian before him to warm us up. Only complaint would be about the loud obnoxious large women sitting next to me.
Performance was hillarious from beginning to end. People with us had to pick themselves out of the isle they laughed so hard. Stories are funny, but the delivery makes it special.
I have watched Ron White on Television over and over---nothing beats seeing him in person!! He was so funny!!
This guy is funny - plain and simple. However, the amount of off-color, sexual components to his show was a bit excessive. I'm not a prude but I just don't think he has to have that much in his show. I think most of his fans came from his appearances on TV's Blue Collar Comedy and his style of humor was hilarious! It is that "character" that draws the fans to his shows. He might want to re-think the mix of things.
It was great to see Ron White in Anchorage..being from the South, I appreciate his brand of humor. This was the first time I had seen his live show and it was great!!! The opening act was a pleasant surprise as well. The material for both shows was Adult Rated but extremely funny....The time went by very quickly and he kept the audience entertained and laughing out loud the entire show.
sat to far away, monitors were to small. The sound was echoing and having delay coming from the speakers. but the first comedien was very funny and ron was good to.
Ron White was hilarious, i was using my sleeve to wipe the tears out of my eyes and my sleeve soaking wet.
Ron White was one of the best shows i went to see, he got 5 stars over all. The reason i only gave it 4 is because we sat around some people that were so drunk and yelling the whole show that it was a downer. Nothing was done to control people that that but the show itself was great
The evening was great! Ron white was hilarious and had a great show for the audince. The opening act was also quite funny. I would recommend the show to anyone of an adult age to see the show as content is not appropriate for children.
Ron White is one of the 4 best comics in the US, can't wait for the other 3 blue comedy tour guys to do a show here also.
Very ribald, not really for children but made me laugh my a** off. Good timing , great stage presence and thoroughly enjoyable. A great night out.
