The best !! We laughed until we cried, best show ever. I love Anthony, and I can not wait for him to come back to Ohio !!
Anthony Jeselnik is the really the best at his brand of dark humor. This was the fourth time I’ve seen him. He never ever has disappointed. Love that he always makes a few jabs at whatever town he’s performing in. The audience loved him.
I love Anthony Jeselnik but Saturday’s show was disappointing for multiple reasons. 1) He only performed for 45 minutes. 2) It felt like he was phoning it in as it was his last stop on the North American tour 3) The venue was bad and even Anthony complained about it. 4) Would’ve been nice to see one more comic given how short his set was.
Anthony was super funny, as expected. Theater was aweful Lighting: all 4 of us left with headaches and blurred vision . Not sure why, but it hurt our eyes. Not that the light was in our eyes. Backdrop probably. Sound: terrible, muffled and distant. As if he was backstage Seats: not sloped very well. We all spent the whole show bobbing to the right and to the left of the heads directly in front of us. Won’t go to the rio theater ever again. Even for Jeselnik. And I live 2 blocks away
Anthony Jeselnik’s comedy is very dark, unique, and mind boggling. He always keeps you on your toes. You think a joke is going one way, then it goes the other way. At times, he’ll tell you what he’s going to do, and then does it, and you didn’t even know it was coming. You also have to use your mind/brain to comprehend; his jokes are for the intelligent folk. A true comic. Simply awesome!!!
I don’t have any preexisting medical conditions or anything, but some of the punchlines were so funny and caught me off-guard that I laughed the hardest I have in a good while. His dry and dark humor was just what I needed to forget about my week. I will definitely see him again. The best part is, he’s not part of the Roe Jogan brat pack.
He was hilarious as always. Did not disappoint in the least. He’s the absolute best at the type of humor he does. I’ve read many reviews that complained that his set was too short, but I felt it was a good amount of time. Of course I could listen to him all night, but he was on stage for a normal amount of time. The crowd loved the jokes and a good time was had by all. I’d go see him again at the next gig if I could just to hear some of the bits I missed because of audience laughter. Opening act was okay. A bit frenetic, for my taste. Complete opposite of Jeselnik’s style, but maybe that was by design. She had some good bits and the audience appeared to like her.
The show was great, Anthony Jeselnik was hilarious. His style of comedy is different but very refreshing and funny. He definitely gave us what he all came to see, wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
Anthony is the best, smooth delivery. Seats were rough small jammed together. If you had a weight issue, it would be everyone's issues
Anthony was great but I was expecting about 90 minutes from him. But it was only about an hour long show not including the warm-up act which was just OK.
