Tucker Pillsbury assembles, disassembles, and reassembles different vibes, sounds, and emotions into Role Model. One moment, he's crooning about his crush's earrings over crunchy chords. The next, he's spitting bars about staying home. Either way, the intimacy of his songwriting beckons connection. You'll experience doubt, anxiety, infatuation, and even love right next to him. His story kicked into high gear back in 2017. Following the Soundcloud success of "Cocaine Babe" and "Girl In New York," he earned the respect of late idol Mac Miller and Benny Blanco. Trading Maine for California, he made waves with the oh, how perfect EP in 2019, generating tens of millions of streams on "hello," "notice me" [feat. BENEE], and "that's just how it goes." A year later, his momentum only increased with the follow-up our little angel EP. The single "blind" eclipsed 64 million Spotify streams, while coup de main hailed it as "must-listen." The Line of Best Fit praised his "songs with tenderness and Gen Z apathy." After gathering nearly 437 million streams and receiving acclaim from HYPEBEAST, DIY, Earmilk, and many more, he illuminates every side of himself on his most recent singles "forever&more" and "death wish".

by kate on 7/10/22Rating: 5 out of 5i’ve seen tucker three times now and every time i am amazed at his incredible stage presence, he always engages with the crowd and the all venues that i’ve seen him in are amazing. 10/10 would recommend going to see him in concert
Wouldn’t go again

I was extremely disappointed in his performance. there was almost no crowd engagement and during RX he laid down? i think? idk i couldn’t see him the entire performance which was dumb - that’s literally why I paid to be here. I was close enough to see well, but the venue AND Tucker handled the crowd very poorly. people would literally run full force to get to the front. I’m disabled and use a walker, I chose a spot to stand with a support beam to my back before the venue filled up and many people were damaging my required medical equipment with complete disregard for those around them. The crowd was out of control and when I asked the venue for somewhere safe to stand the guy just kinda shrugged his shoulders. they’re going to have a mini juice world in there if they don’t stop people from charging the stage.

He engaged with the crowd so much and called us “the best last show he’s ever had”😌 his opener “The Blssm” was also so amazing and cute. His set was only an hour which was a little disappointing but overall best night of my life

Crowds are really not my forte, and I was nervous that if I didn’t go in the pit area I would miss out. Wrong, so wrong. He was so much fun to see and it was about an hour long, he made sure everyone was safe and having a good time. If you’re a big fan of him, or not lol, you will have fun either way. My friend said she wished she took pictures of me, because I looked so happy it gave her goosebumps. Like come onnnnn, best night of my life. Go go go.

The show was shorter than expected but I still loved it. It is definitely one of my favorite concert experiences ever. I’d love to go to more of his shows.

by yolo on 6/23/22The Underground - CharlotteRating: 3 out of 5i bought 4 tickets so my friends and i could go (was close to $200) one of my friends has been following him since he first debuted as a singer, so this was really special for her. the performance was probably an hour and half hours long, that’s including the opener, and the 20 minutes it took for him to come out after to opener got off the stage. personally, i enjoyed the openers performance more than his, and that’s not even being rude. she engaged with the crowd while he didn’t that much..

Super nice security and venue staff. After leaving this event was already starting to look up nearby shows from ROLEMODEL. Awesome performer his energy was infectious.

Previous concerts here were perfect and the AC was blasting! Other than that my favorite part of the venue is the lighting it’s always perfectly in sync with the setlists
