About

Building on the sharpened songwriting and singularly honed-in sounds she'd established on PARANOIA, Maggie spent a year building the foundation of her debut studio album, SUCKERPUNCH, a body of work that chronicles a journey of self-discovery and actualization. "It's the journey from being upset to being angry to being hopeful - a hopefulness I want listeners to know exists for them, too," she says. It's also the rare narrative record that's songs also stand as strongly alone as they do in sequenced order. "I was still in the PARANOIA headspace, and I didn't want to leave it, but as we made these songs, you can hear me growing and going deeper than I ever have before," Maggie notes. "Even if some of the melodies changed or production elements took new form, a lot of SUCKERPUNCH is as we originally wrote and intended it - songs that showcase the new version of who I've always wanted to be."

The album name, she says, came to her soon after. "It's an unexpected punch, a blow you didn't see coming," she says. "When I was making this, I had those blows in my own life; when I listened to the album back from start to finish, I realized the entire thing was a sucker punch - for myself, for my fans - and I knew it had to be the title."

This girl went to my high school and is a literal crazy person. It's hilarious that she's famous. She got famous from buying all her instagram followers when instagram first came out and literally became famous from it. It's absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe she actually has fans. lol maggie remember you and seth?

EXCELLENT & so Proud of her🥺🫶🏽

The suckerpunch tour was so good, I’ve been around since her ‘knocking on your heart’ days & it’s so cool to watch her flourish & come into the genre that fits her best. The music sounded so good I love how she changed certain cords and added different stuff to the music live. I met her in 2022 & she was soooo sweet. She sounds amazing live and her energy was great. 10/10 I can’t wait to see her again<3 I’m happy I got to experience her 1st headlining tour

    amazing. show stopping. one-of-a-kind.

by q on 4/14/23The Bronze Peacock at House of Blues Houston - Houston

maggie was amazing live and was everything i expected her to be and more. i do wish that the smoke machines weren’t on for the first half of the show because it was hard to see and people were shouting to turn it off. the mics for both the opener and maggie were also low, especially with the opener as the drum mic was way too loud and no one could properly hear the opener. the band maggie brought on tour was awesome too! 10/10 would pay vip again.

    Bad stage for performance

by Alex on 4/12/23The Masquerade - Hell - Atlanta

The performance was great, her singing and dancing was awesome. The only problems was the crowd singing so loud that I could barely hear maggie singing and the stage was too low for the performance that maggie does. Only the people in the front got to see the show fully.

It was great experience had fun, was a shame that there were taller people in front of me and wish there was a screen above the stage so i can see clearer but overall not bad.
