i thought the show was great! I could have listened for many more hours. Roger still has a great voice, the choice of songs was excellent, and this is my new favorite venue to see concerts. It's so cozy - you feel like they're in your living room with you.

What a great event. If he comes again, I'd buy tickets for all the days he plays.

From the moment he strolled onto the stage amidst a roar of welcome, Roger Hodgson proved to be irresistably warm and moving. His songs are filled with spirit and lyrical enthrallment, and were presented with a feel of involvement not often rendered by a performer. I was moved and carried by his presensce and conversation as well. An amazing performer with a great joy in his work.

  • Roger Hodgson; best show I've seen in years

His voice, still amazing. His music, still timeless. His band, well rehearsed and very tight. His concert, one of my most memorable in my life. They simply do not write timeless music like this anymore. My only hope is to be able to catch this tour again someday, somewhere!!

Excellent show! His voice was as good as it was in 1983. Played all my favorite Supertramp songs. The band with him did a great job too.

  • Rodger was great. Felt like a friend of his.

  • Roger Hodgson IS Supertramp...and much more

    by FTFV on 3/6/12Potawatomi Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Expo Center - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5

This show was excellent. I won't go through set list, etc. as I'm sure others will. The main points I'd like to make are twofold. First, the sound of this show was outstanding. Roger's voice is as good, if not stronger, than ever. His musicianship, complemented by an outstanding band was impeccable. Aaron MacDonald is fantastic on everything from keyboards, sax, and recorder to clarinet, his own head, and vocals. This guy is very special and he complements Roger in every way. The second and almost more important point is that Roger engages with an audience like no one I have seen. He is a gentleman in the true sense of the word and shares his past, his hopes, and his dreams with the audience in an unselfish and empathetic manner that is a pleasure to experience. His show is a must see and the more intimate the venue the better. The Potawatomi is very special from that standpoint, as Roger himself acknowledged.

  • Rodger and his band were fantastic !!!!!

The impossible task is to find the words to explain what one experiences, feels when buy a ticket and goes to a Roger Hodgson concert. As someone whose passion is music, the buying of the ticket is sacred. Then you wait for months knowing you have this special jewel hidden away....waiting for the magical day to arrive. In many cases I have enjoyed the performances, being glad I was able to hear one more artist's/band's music live...... A Roger Hodgson performance is beyond description......from the minute he and the band hit the stage, it is ALL TO CLEAR he is there for the fans. Roger spends his time on stage connecting with his fans. He makes eye contact, points, responds to shout outs, laughs, giggles and last but not least "Smile continually". Now, let's talk about the voice that sounds better then ever and the musicality of all on the stage.. An evening with Roger Hodgson is time well spent... Go, travel...see Roger live. It will be an adventure that is life changing

One of the best shows I have seen. Incredible theater to see anyone. If you have an opportunity to see Roger Hodgson, don't miss it.

  • Roger Hudgson was spectacular

This is the first time we saw Roger Hodgson in concert. The last time we saw him was in 83 when he was still with Supertramp. He put on a show that was amazing. Did all of his great songs that he wrote and a few that I wasn't aware of. And he seemed genuinely happy to be performing for us. He spoke to the audience and played about 2 hours. Some performers don;t even give you 90 minutes. And he sold out three shows.

  • Small venue, but a huge performance!

    by dotme on 3/5/12Potawatomi Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Expo Center - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing Roger Hodgson perform live in concert has been near the top of my "bucket list" for over 30 years now, so I went into this event with pretty high expectations. I left 2 hours later, blown away. Roger and his band rocked the house, playing a great mix of classic Supertramp songs and tracks from his solo albums "Open the Door" and "Eye of the Storm". With an excellent setlist, Roger’s spot-on vocals, and some truly phenomenal instrumental jams (especially in classics like "School" and "Child of Vision"), this turned out to be an astonishing evening of entertainment. If you liked Supertramp's "Even in the Quietest Moments", "Crisis? What Crisis?", "Crime of the Century", "Famous Last Words" and - of course - "Breakfast in America" albums, then you have to see Roger Hodgson Live.

  • Hodgson is a master

What a perfect show. Musicianship all around was great....reproduced Supertramp's best hits perfectly. Very satisfying entertainment.
