Roger Hodgson, formerly of Supertramp, has been recognized as one of the most gifted songwriters and lyricists of our time. As the legendary composer of many of the band’s greatest hits, he gave us “Give a Little Bit,” “The Logical Song,” “Dreamer,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “Breakfast in America,” “It’s Raining Again,” “School,” “Fool’s Overture” and so many others that have become the soundtrack of our lives and helped his former band sell well over 60 million albums.
Hodgson continues to tour extensively worldwide performing not only his classics, but also material from his solo albums.

Great performance! Sounded awesome! Great venue! Loved it!
Roger Hodgson and his band put on a wonderful performance of the classic Supertramp songs as well as new ones. I met up with another 8 people. Everyone had a great time. Roger and his band were very warmly received by the audience.
Roger brought a lot of energy to the stage. We got the opportunity to see his personality as he related much of his thought process of many of his songs. If you like Supertramp; you will love this concert.
From the very first note, to the last, the sound was incredible. Crystal clear and dialed in. The crowd at the Oregon Zoo was blown away. It seemed he played every song as he left nothing off the set list. Had to be one of the best shows I have ever seen, as I knew it would.
Show and venue were AMAZING! Best concert in Years! Wish he did two shows...would have attended both for sure!
WOW, I was very pleased with both his performance and the venue,an outdoor concert which seats I am guessing 4,000 people it seemed to be sold out, and Roger opened with "take the long way home", and proceeded to bless us with a repertoire of songs he wrote from 1969 ? on including some I never thought I would hear (again) live! Emphasizing the Love side of the Supertramp Band, I noted he was careful to select songs which were indeed his creations which were sweet and his voice was true to the originals. He hasn't lost a thing, moreover his talent and skill at choosing his back up band really hit home in sound quality, excellent!! I had seen Supertramp 3 times with Roger Hodgson, and twice with out, and I heard him play 3 songs with Ringo Star and his all star band a few years ago, and am delighted to have had this opportunity to hear that unique voice live again!
Hodgson was fantastic, couple of songs better than the studio work. Well worth the money, Roger still has tremendous vocal range. Do yourself a favor and see this show.
While I did see Roger Hodgson back in 2001 as part of Ringo Star's Allstar Band, this was the first time I had seen him in a solo performance; and although I really caught Supertramp towards the end of their tenure, I was familiar enough with them and with Roger to recognize that even at his fairly advanced age, he still sounded wonderful even if his lung capacity to hold those high notes might not quite be what it use to be. I loved the fact that he performed so many of the deeper tracks including two of my absolute favorites: "Even in the Quietest Moments" and "Hide in your Shell." My only critique was the abruptness with which he ended "Sister Moonshine" without doing the entire second half of the song. Otherwise, I hope he doesn't wait so long to come back to our little corner of the universe known as the PNW; although even if he does, I won't be completely surprised with the way he takes care of himself if he'll still be sounding good even as he eventually knocks on the door of Heaven!
Great show. He sounded great and put a lot of heart and energy in to the show. I was not aware that two of Supertramp's best songs, "Goodbye Stranger", and "Bloody Well Right" were sung by someone else in the band, so he did not do these songs. Understandable, but a bit of a bummer. Every other hit the band had he played, though.
I had planned on taking a friend of my son's who is a keyboard player, but was bummed to find out it was 21+ so he couldn't get in. Other than that, I can't say enough about how much fun we had at this show. Roger's voice sounds exactly as it did when I saw Supertramp in 1980, and the band he had with him was sensational. I know that when in Supertramp, Roger would sing the songs that he wrote, and Rick Davies sang the songs that he wrote, so I knew I wouldn't be hearing Crime of the Century, Rudy, or Asylum, as the arrangement now is they can only play the songs they wrote. But how's this for a setlist: 1.Take the Long Way Home 2.School 3.In Jeopardy 4.Lovers in the Wind 5.Hide in Your Shell 6.Easy Does It/Sister Moonshine 7.Breakfast in America 8.Lady 9.C'est le Bon 10.Soapbox Opera 11.The Logical Song 12.Death & a Zoo 13.If Everyone Was Listening 14.Child of Vision 15.Quietest Moments 16.Don't Leave Me Now 17.Fool's Overture 18.Dreamer Encore: 19.Two of Us 20.Give a little bit 21.It's Raining Again If you get the chance to see this show, don't miss it. You can thank me later!!
I watched several youtube videos of Roger and knew he still had the "voice'. I found out the videos did not do him justice. My wife and I bought tickets expecting to see a 60 year old singer trudge through songs but boy were we mistaken. Roger came on stage and you knew he owned it. His voice and playing was in top form from the very beginning. The music was, in short AWESOME!. Roger hit the same notes he hit with Supertramp those many years ago. The band with him was indescribable. They played the Supertramp music note for note without any mistakes that I noticed. You could of closed your eyes and thought you were listening to Supertramp but I dared not to because wanted to watch the musicians. In short I cannot write or say enough about this performance other than I would see him again and even drive a distance to attend if it was required.
This place is the best to see an outdoor concert at. Great sound, padded seats (on the floor) and $5 IPA's you take to your seats! As for the music, Roger Hodgson was utterly amazing. If you add it all up, it was not "the crime of the century", but "the bargin of the century". Go see a concert at the Sno Casino and if Roger Hodgson comes around again, you'd be missing out on one of the very best musicians in the world (and you'll see them up very close, we're lucky they're not playing colliseums, they are that good)!
This was one of the best shows I've attended in years!
One of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Rogers voice is still strong, the band was tight, and the songs--well they speak for themselves.
The sound was the best I've heard simply kick Butt and Rodger and the band Rocked the House I hope they all come back !!
Roger sounded tremendous and had a fabulous backup band. I've seen Supertramp in concert and don't believe they were any better.
Roger, you are amazing as always and your music still touches those memories of more than 30 years. Keep up the touring and hopefully we will see you again next year. If not i will remember this night for a long time because you brought me right back to where I was in 1977. Thanks!
Wow! What a great show! Roger's voice and his band were amazing!
I wasn't sure how Roger was going to sound since the last time I saw him live was at Super Summer Sunday at Empire Stadium in Vancouver back in the 70's. I was not disappointed. Roger is an excellent songwriter and performer. His band was just as good as the Supertramp original and in particular his young musician from Canada played an assortment of instruments at a level and maturity seemingly beyond his years. Roger was engaging and pleasant with the audience. Pretty much all of his classics were played as well as a few newer ones I'd never heard before. Hopefully he'll come back at least once more so I can see him and his band perform again.
Music was soooo good and Hodgson's voice was as strong as ever
