What a special treat to experience a true rock legend. Roger was sensational, and his voice has not aged a bit. Truly a great experience to see Roger on stage!

Supertramp always had a soft spot for Canada so I thought I'd go see Roger in Windsor. It was diffantly worth the trip from Chicago and even better than his show here in Chicago at Ravinia. Nice Job Roger

  • Great show

Show was great. Hodgson was great. Up close and personal, the only way to see a great artist. Did I mention it was great?

The concert was fantastic! Great to hear all the songs that he said meant so much to him. He gave background on songs and was very personable. I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the venue. Humphreys By the Bay was so close knit that it was a really good experience. Weather was fantastic too. A must see concert!!!!!!

  • lovely concert

by SN1353 on 9/20/12Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

I am a 35 year old and did not know Roger Hodgson that well before the concert. My husband however, a big fan, has a collection of all the CDs here and many tapes back in Iran from when he was only 10. Yes if music is great enough it can resonate in all different cultures and languages. I was not sure what to expect but to my surprise the concert was great. Even though I had not heard many of the songs, since they were way before my time, but they still had a special effect on me. Roger Hodgson is such a down to earth person and that is felt through his performance. Every thing was great and I enjoyed it tremendously. By the end of the concert I was on my feet dancing and rejoiced by the concert. Thank you so much to the band that did a great job. One more BIG fan is added to the list of your fans :). I truly hope you will come back to San Diego and I will be attending as a fan and not a stranger to the music ;). Thank you for a great night

This was a great concert! Roger was in top form. It was great to sing along as I knew most of the song. The sax player is also amazing.

  • So impressed

by bronconetwork on 9/20/12Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

I attended the show with my 14 year old son who loves Supertramp. We were both impressed beyond description. What a great musician - His voice sounds great. Hopefully he return in the future. When a 14 year old boy appreciates and enjoys music I listened to when I was 14 the quality of the music is obvious.

  • Rodger was outstanding!

  • A trip through history

by DAK64 on 9/20/12Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Roger's concert was a very enjoyable trip through memories. I grew up listening to Supertramp, and his songs are the type that you never get tired of. I think he must have played about 98% of the songs I wanted to hear, with the few exceptions being mostly the ones Rick Davies used to sing (like From now on and Bloody well right). I brought my wife along, who did not know Supertramp besides the occasional song in my ipod and she loved the concert too.

  • Dream come true!

    by SEN69 on 9/1/12Oregon Zoo - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

I've been a Supertramp fan since I was 12 (over 30 years) and seeing Roger Hodgson in this venue was absolutely wonderful! The weather was perfect! My friend and I didn't bring chairs or blankets, so we sat on the patch of grass right in front of the stage. Roger sounded wonderful I didn't want him to stop playing. I'm so thrilled I got to hear these songs live.

  • One of my favorite shows this year!

by WalrusM on 8/25/12Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Saw Roger at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach NH. Great seats 5 rows from center stage, so close up and amazing. Roger lamented to the audience after only 4 songs into his set that he was going to take an early intermission due to not being happy with his voice. Believe me, it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't quite as good as I was hoping for either. After about a 20-25 minute intermission, he came back on stage with his cup of tea, and was amazing from that point on. Consummate performer! His band was top notch, most especially the Canadien woodwind, harmonica, you name it, bandmember. I'd love to see Roger again anytime. Played some great old Supertramp songs from several albums, as well as some of his solo stuff. He was also very interactive and playful with the audience, and played about 2 hours including encore.

  • Roger Hodgson was awesome!!!

The show was everything my wife and I thought it woud be. Roger was in true form and his band was great too. I'm glad we took the trip from Omaha to see him. My wife was right when she said we're going, it will be a fantastic show. Meeting his manager Linda was a very nice bonus.

There are not many things anymore that "thrill" me. At 48, I've pretty much have seen it all. But, I was totally "thrilled" by seeing Roger Hodgson sing and play live. To hear Fool's Overture a few feet in front of me was nothing short of amazing and fabulous. I knew every song and every lyric that was played and sung. Even Open the Door that according to Roger, never made it out of France. He's soooooo good. Seems so very nice too. I did make a bit of a trip to see him, a 6 hr. drive. A few family members thought it was too long a ride, but I was convinced it would be worth it. And the show certainly was. So much so that I purchased 2 more tickets for when he's in my neck of the woods in Westbuy Long Island. Can't wait..... "Here we go again!!!!"

Simple amazing, Roger Hodgson is Great and his musicians are fantastic. I don't have more words than I love it!!!

  • Excellent!

by Anonymous on 8/21/12Twin River Event Center - LincolnRating: 5 out of 5

Roger and his band were wonderful. The energy was palpable. They really seemed sharp and worked seamlessly together. He performed the numbers in a rendition that I liked....not exactly as they had been done a lont time ago, yet not radically different in some sort ill advised attempt to shake things up a bit. His voice is amazing.

  • Roger Hodgson was spectacular at Twin Rivers!

by Pikemay on 8/20/12Twin River Event Center - LincolnRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen literally hundreds of concerts but never have I attended either a Supertramp or Roger Hodgson show live. I've seen DVD footage of both but have waited so long to see him due to his limited touring. Well, now I have experienced his concert and must say that it was the best concert I have ever seen. There are many reasons for this as I have seen some unbelievable shows over the past 30 years. First, Roger truly appreciates his fans and audience and it clearly shows. He is so polite as well. He clearly loves what he does. Also, it is so hard to see him live as he rarely tours around the MA or RI area. The sound of his show was another breathtaking experience as I don't belive I have ever heard a better sounding show ever. All instruments and voice was perfect! Also, I have to give much credit to Roger's band. Oh my gosh! What a great sounding band. The set list was very good as it played many of his/supertramp's hits, and also played to some rare tracks of supertramp as well as his own songs. It was a nice balance of songs. If I had to criticize something, it would have been as minor as he didn't play one of my favorite solo song of his, Had a Dream. But the show was so remarkable, I didn't care he didn't play it.

  • Roger Hodgson was Amazing - MUST SEE!!!!

by SuperfanBK on 8/20/12Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton BeachRating: 5 out of 5

I highly recommend anyone to see Roger Hodgson. I saw him 30 years ago during the Breakfast in America tour and he sounds as good today as he did then. In some ways he was better due to seeing him in a smaller venue than some stadium full of 50,000 people. I sas him at the Hampton Beach Casino in NH and the next day booked tickets to see him again in November in Linn, MA. I could easily become a groupie but now 50 years old and holding a management position, I don't think my wife will let me. Roger if you are reading this, you are an inspiration to all musicians. If they could match your sincere passion and perfectionism, the world would be a much better place. BK

  • Amazing Roger

by BrazilianRocker on 8/20/12Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Roger was fantastic!! His music has touched us for many years. He still has a great voice. The show was incredible with all of his hits. I heard he is coming back to Boston area (Lynn in November) and I can't wait to see him again.
