    Super Enjoyable

by FuzzyOrangeBug on 4/2/18Ohio Theatre - Columbus

So I went into this knowing nothing about it and what I ended up being treated to was a ton of fun. The show shares a lot in common with shows like Riverdance and Feet of Flames, but their take is super unique. There is an underlying story in the first act with plenty of excellent choreography, but what totally makes the show is it's Rock and Roll thematics. From the costumes to the re-invisionment of a number of songs, this show definitely gives Irish dancing (forgive the pun) a new spin. It is also uniquely diverse in the body types of the dancers, which I think is excellent, and the chemistry between the musicians and the dancers is evident as they are dancing and playing on stage. Most enjoyable.

Many talented people, poorly presented though

by truckstrains on 4/2/18Ohio Theatre - Columbus

The dancers and musicians were amazing. The costumes were very poorly done and not well designed. The lead female singers outfits were very inappropriate for her size and shape, very unflattering and unprofessional looking. Her make up and hair was not done well at all , the black lipstick was the worst. This all distracted from her beautiful vocals. She needs a re-do of her image. The lead female dancer costume was not appealing at all... looked like a common housedress. She should look more ethereal... The male lead singer did not seem to fit the venue. His style and voice would be a better fit in something like jersey boys or grease... I think the show needs a more powerful and mature lead man. I think with the right management, choreographer and costume/set designer this show would be amazing and give Riverdance a run for the money.. but it needs some serious attention before it loses the huge audience out there for this type of show. people love Irish dance and music! I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but I am trying to give the most constructive criticism I can because I really do believe there is a ton of talent here that just needs to be "pulled together"..

    Rockin' didn't Rock

    by Joy50 on 4/2/18Ohio Theatre - Columbus

Rockin' Road to Dublin had excellent musicians and dancers except we thought it would be more Rock music. The male singer was very difficult to understand, but had pleasant voice. The female singer had very good vocals. I would recommend the show with clarifying description of music

Drove from Cinti for this. Totally worth it. The theatre is beautiful, staff is helpful, parking is easy. The show was high energy, great music, super dance. We will come back to the theatre for other events and will try to see the show again.

    We really enjoyed this show!

by JimmyFrost on 3/31/18Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

My wife needs a wheelchair to attend these events, we had chosen handicapped seating and the staff at the venue were more than accommodating in every way imaginable and then some. The show was an awesome mix of Deliverance, meets River Dance, meets Charlie Daniels Band, meets Zamphere (Master of the pan-flute), meets Areosmith on Broadway. We really liked this show and hope to be able to see it again.

    Rockin Road to Dublin Rocks

    by winks1322 on 3/31/18Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

If you have seen Riverdance, this is Riverdance on steroids. The band includes a keyboardist, two drummers, base quitar, two lead guitars and two fiddle players. While they are all excellent the two fiddle players are exceptional. There is a male singer and female singer. Of course you have a lead male and female dancer and six other male and female dancers. In Riverdance there is a battle between three male Irish dances and three tap dancers that is one of the highlights of that show. Here the battle is between three Irish male dancers and three drummers and it is a truly amazing part of the show. Who knew that you could do Irish dancing to Eye of the Tiger and other rock songs. If you have a chance to attend this show you will not be sorry and you will enjoy some great entertainment.

Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Such talented musicians and dancers on stage. The Fiddler's were truly inspiring. Loved the dance-off, fiddle-offs and dance-drum off. OMG - what a fun night. It really was a rocking good time. Highly recommend the show.

    RR2D WAS AMAZING!

    by 501HS on 3/30/18Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

All of the performers in RR2D are independently so amazingly talented and come together for an outstanding collaboration of music and dance to be enjoyed by all ages. The show is entertaining from start to finish, upbeat and lively. The singers sounded great, the dancers were awesome and the musicians were incredible! The live video screen is a fantastic way to see a different perspective - the up close footwork of the dancers was unbelievable and the overhead shots of the musicians really turned it up a notch. The lighting and effects were spot on and we believe it couldn't have been any better. Everyone really gave it their all and the solos allowed each performer to shine. We particularly enjoyed the drum off. We will definitely attend any venue this group may play in Virginia and nearby states as you must see it to appreciate it. It is a show that you want to see again and again!
