    Dancing Dublin Style

by Noneya2 on 5/1/18The Lyric Theatre - Birmingham

Rockin road to Dublin was spectacular. It included great singers, dancers & musicians. This was my first time to The Lyric Theatre, it is a quaint venue. I highly recommend to see it for yourself.

    RRTD one of my favorites.

by CFDBC on 4/29/18Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

Loved RRTD, more than Riverdance or Lord of the Dance, and I thought those were the best. 90 minutes of pure energy. The lead female dance could be the next Jean Butler!

    High Energy Entertainment

    by Luke1900 on 4/29/18Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

This was an excellent blend of traditional Irish dance with the instrumentality of rock music. The company of dancers, musicians and singers were continuously on the move and interacting in various unique and entertaining ways. It was nearly non stop action from beginning to end.

    Amazing performance.

by MPGX on 4/28/18The Lyric Theatre - Birmingham

The place should have been packed. They just need more advance publicity. Worth every penny!

    RR2D-Incredible!!

by VJC22 on 4/28/18The Lyric Theatre - Birmingham

Admittedly, I had never heard of this group until receiving an email from Ticketmaster about the upcoming event; since the Riverdance show had been cancelled from a snow/ice storm in January, I thought I'd give them a try. I am so grateful I did!! I believe the smaller venue at the beautiful Lyric Theater afforded a more intimate setting with the performers and it seemed so much more interactive than most shows I've attended. The cast was more attentive of, and responsive to, the audience members. And the show was outstanding!! The music and dance was superb!! I will definitely make an effort to see RR2D if they return to Birmingham!!

    Rockin Road to Dublin

by IrishRoverGuy on 4/25/18U.S. Cellular Center Asheville - Asheville

As a person of Irish heritage, I was not sure what I would be walking into for this event. I was pleasantly surprised at the performance. A modern Riverdance with a rock flair. Vibrant and full of energy with a most entertaining twist. The music was loud, way too loud in the first half of the show - the music did drown out the voices of the singers. Was not sure if this was a technical error or not because the second half was much better. The most disappointing reality of the evening was the many vacant seats. We had purchased tickets two days before the event and were seated in the second to the last row of orchestra center. However, more than 60% of the seats in the rows towards the stage were vacant. These seats were obviously not sold as there were too many to be no-shows. They were higher priced seats in front of us but more people behind us than in front of us. Was a shame that the people who paid to attend and patronized this venue were subjected to sitting so far back. Couldn't help but feel for the singers and dancers when they looked out and saw all the vacant seats. It has to have an effect on them. The tickets were overpriced for those front seats and it showed the night of the performance - they should have lowered the prices and filled the house instead of 60% vacant.

Great show for the right audience

by TargetAudience on 4/24/18U.S. Cellular Center Asheville - Asheville

Years ago I went to Riverdance and loved it. I also enjoy a good rock concert, so I got tickets to Rockin Road to Dublin, and it is in fact something of each. As a dance performance, it's not as powerful or finely tuned as Riverdance, though the leads are talented and energetic. As a rock concert, it doesn't have memorable songs or vocalists who will make a name for themselves (though they acquit themselves very well). The musicians are first-rate, and their solos were a treat, as was a drumming sequence. The audience was largely my age (I have grandchildren), and I think most of us went away happy. I know I did.

    High energy show

by Ihavenoideawhattopick on 4/15/18Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

Rockin Road to Dublin has all the Irish dance, music and song you expect to see in a show with this name. They go one step further and infuse great rock music with their dance numbers and in several cases tell a story through song and dance. The choreography and writing is obviously original and says a lot for this group of young men and women. If this show comes to your town definitely get tickets and tell your friends

    Sad there wasn't more dancing

by DianaCS on 4/14/18Columbus Theatre - Columbus

We loved the idea of attending an event with Irish dancing. And the dancing was good, but there wasn't enough. We didn't realize most of the show would be based on a male and female singer, and the music and dancing was just more in the background. The singers reminded us of a cruise ship show or a poor Vegas show. The female singer was a bit better, but the male singer was not good at all. At times, the show seemed cheesy and not well put together. Needless to say, we were a bit disappointed. Please include more dancing and music.

    Very Entertaining!

by tmusch on 4/13/18Mayo Civic Center Auditorium - Rochester

Our experience at the Mayo Civic Center with the Rockin Road to Dublin show was exceptional. The quality of the performance was a 10 ranging from the musicians to the dancers to the singers. There was action taking place all over the stage at every moment. I loved the battle between the drummers and the dancers... excellent. We certainly would take in another show when they are back in the area.

    Rockin' Road To Dublin

by tackel on 4/7/18Stephens Auditorium - Ames

The show was a lot of fun! Was not sure if I would like it or not since it started out with some of the music rock style. But the show turned out really good and really did like the music. The dancers were wonderful and so talented along with all the musicians. If you ever get a chance to go see this show, do it! I would go again if I got the chance.

    Great Talent!

    by Abbott1301989 on 4/5/18Ohio Theatre - Columbus

The musicians, dancers and singers were wonderful. The talent was over the top. I wasn't sure what to expect by combining this style of dance with Rock music. I would definitely return to see a future performance. I felt bad for the performers since the house was not full. Hopefully, it was just bad timing since the women's NCAA Final Four was in town the same weekend.
