The opener Blessing Offor is worth the price of admission alone! He was great and joined Robert Randolph during his set too. Robert Randolph was incredible! His band was tight and sounded great. It’s just too bad Cincinnati doesn’t know who he is, as the small venue wasn’t even close to being g sold out. Can’t wait to see him again!!!
Go see this man play live!! I’ve been listening to him for 20+ years and he is one of the premier guitarist of our generation. So good!
Saw him at Oak Mountain w/ Zac Brown Band. He was AWESOME. Would go to see him without the big name closing
Really loud for my child and not that much fun and I don’t know what he was saying
I usually get to about 20 plus shows a year and this one was amazing. Robert Randolph and the family were so fun, the group was tight and on spot. I love the energy and interaction they all had with the fans. If you get the chance to see these guys do it.
Robert Randolph & the Family Band know how to rock the roof off a joint -- and this time was no exception. Their sold out show at the new venue Aura in Portland, Maine, did not disappoint. Aura was amazingly beautiful, the sound and acoustics were superb, and the band was on top of their game from the moment they came out around 10:15 p.m. right up until they finished their last song at 12:30 a.m.. A most excellent night!!!
Blew me away. The amount of talent in this band is much greater than the sum of it's parts. They kept swapping instruments and it was clear that each member of the band was equally accomplished on any instrument he played. It was a jaw dropping, foot tapping, soal shaking night of wonderful music.
Seeing Robert Randolph and the Family Band at the new club Aura in Portland, ME was unforgettable! The Family Band is what a "Jam" band can and should be. Unequaled musicianship, soul and funk. What a generous performer, a 2.5 hr. set!
Aura was beautiful. It was kind of chaotic, but it was only the 2nd show there. The late start time was a real bummer. Maybe I'm just older than most, but I was only able to stay for the first 3-4 songs with Randolph, because we were exhausted, and annoyed that we couldn't get a view at all, because people kept moving and yelling at each other because they're just LOUD, and the constant traffic... The opening band was really good, too. But 45 minutes in between bands is ridiculous.
