  • My kids are still trying to figure out the magic

by OneMomJustSaying on 11/9/10CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

This show was much different from the others that we've seen. My kids ages 7 and 11 really enjoyed all the magic involved. They are still trying to figure out how the elephant disappeared and how Mr. Gravity turned into a tiger! We are never disappointed by the Ringling Bros. shows and this one was no exception - Great Family Fun!!!

  • awesome for all ages

I was completely amazed and loved this circus. My 11 yr old son, 1 yr old son and husband were also extremely overjoyed with the show.

  • I will never purchase our tickets online again!

by sleepyoaks on 11/9/10CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 3 out of 5

The circus was good, but we had horrible seats way off to the side. When I tried to buy them online, they were the only ones in the dollar amount that I wanted to spend. They shouldn't do that to people. The arena was half empty and we were so far off to the side. It wasn't fair to the children with us. All they wanted to do was move and I kept having to explain over and over why we could not.

  • Circus was fantastic and very enjoyable!

We had awesome seats that allowed us to see everything up close. We were amazed at the whole show. The magic was great and all the performers had smiles on their faces and seemed to be having a great time.

The circus was fantastic! Captured my 3 year old daughters attention for the entire 2 hour show!

  • Entertainment for the entire family!

My family really enjoyed this event. Non-stop entertainment. We will definitely go to see the circus again in the future.

  • Ringling Circus

by pittsburghdude on 11/9/10CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 2 out of 5

Good show, tough sell these days with all of the attention span issues that kids have. Lots of classic animal acts, clowns, etc... similar to when we were kids I guess. But really $12 for a friggin cotton candy, really?? Really? Snowcones also $12 dear god the nerve......

  • Good, but lacking amazing

    by Alvie10582 on 11/8/10CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 3 out of 5

This was a great show I recommend to anyone with children. But if you saw their show last year, it just doesn't hold up to last years show. Mostly because there were no motorcycles in a ball or on a tight rope this year. Seemed like this year had more focus on magic tricks, which doesn't work out so well if you are sitting high up.

show was great. seaats in 200 section not recommended because missed som acts because of lighting and overhead fixtures blocking view.

We took our three daughters to see this show. All I can say is "wow!" It truly is The Greatest Show on Earth.

Great circus! The show itself had a lot of variety which was nice--expecially loved the dog and pony acts! I like how Barnum & Bailey mixes things up with a new theme every year, this one was one of my top favorites!

  • Ringling Bros. Circus is the Greatest

by MeatheadMAC on 11/8/10CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

Two hours of excitement for my two girls (3 & 5 y.o.) and me too. The human cannon balls were my favorite. Love the retro feel. It is just like I remember as a kid in the 70's. They really know how to put on a show. Especially like how we were allowed to go onto the floor before the show to meet the performers and clowns.

  • Circus was disappointing

by Zingless on 11/8/10CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 2 out of 5

My 5 year old granddaughter enjoyed the circus, but for me there was not any zing. The acts were not as exciting as what I remembered when I was a child or even what I remembered when I took my children. Where were the 3 rings, the ever present ringmaster, the motorcyclist riding in the giant ball, the HIGH wire act, the FLYING trapezze artist? Sure these acts were in the program but not to the degree as years ago.

Great experience thank you good seats good temp good atmosphere and the show flowed well

  • Better Lighting

by Benjaminlee on 11/8/10CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 3 out of 5

Overall the Ringling Brothers Circus was good except for some of the lighting. When you are on one end looking down to the other, it seemed dark, like almost out of focus. We were right there looking up at the people who appeared walking and performing upside down, but there were lights flashing down that you couldn't see them at times. It blinded you. That performance may have been great if you could see it.

  • Zing Zang Zooper!!!

    by award0207 on 11/8/10CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

This was my 8 year old son's first time at the circus (due to his fear of clowns up until this year. LOL)! He LOVED every moment of it and so did I!!! I caught a glimps of that little boy whose innocence is quickly fading away into "Big Kid" territory and was actually able to capture it on video. Be sure to bring a very cushioned wallet as the items being sold during the show are quite pricey ($12.00 for a bag of cotton candy YIKES!!!) but I think that EVERY child should experience the circus at least once and deserves the splurge!

  • Love the Circus

    by izzy16zz on 11/8/10CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

I love the circus and i go every year. I have been going since i was 2 years old and now and 20 years old. I take my cousins now to start the next geneation. I have some concerns though, im not going to stop going every year, but the circus is getting kind of commercialized and not like it used to be, back in the day. Im just saying maybe Ringling Brothers should take a blast from the past and do some old school stuff.

  • Ringling Bros.and Barnum & Bailey: Zing Zang Zoom

    by geegee2mom3 on 11/8/10CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

Wonderful show! It was interactive because of the delightful clowns which came around and played with kids and laughed and talked to us all. The ringmaster and head clown which spoke to us were great! The show was wonderful! never a dull moment! My daughter took her 6 year old son and her 12 year old down before the show for clown college. They loved it so much! The elephant came around down there and they had never been so close to one before and were loving it! Everyone did a great job making the audience feel as though we were all part of the circus! We cant wait until next year because my other grandson will be a little over 2 years old and will have a great time too! He did this time but you know what i mean! Loved the Consol Energy as well. Thanks for the memories Ringling Brothers!
