    Great time!

by Melissa on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

My son had a great time at Comic Con. It was very organized and lots of security. I felt very safe letting him go off with his friends.

    Fun and Memorable

by LJK1701A on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

Most celebs were great to meet and friendly. Photo Ops were a mess and poorly designed. Most of the con operated well and made for a good experience.

    Good as Always

by Crabby on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

The 2023 RI Comic was good as always as it delivered once again! Plenty of celebrities and lots of “people watching” Also the past 2 years there has been Food Trucks outside the venue. Friskie Fries we’re some of the best French fries I’ve ever had !! Looking forward to next years RI Comic Con 👍

    Best con I've attended!

by Benjie on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

The people working the event were great. Good positivity from security. Kaitlyn from Linda hamiltons auto line was amazing. She totally read the crowd and was so kind and helpful. met some wonderful fans and it was my 8 or 9th con for the year. San Diego has some competition from Rhode Island

    Chaos

by The Guy on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

Overcrowded. Disorganized. Chaotic. Great celebs, no guarentee you'll get an autograph. Almost every line was cut off. Had to make multiple attempts throught the day just to get in lines.

    First Time at Comic Con!

by Elly on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

This was my first comic-con. I went with my husband and another couple who had never been. We had a wonderful time. It was almost overwhelming with things to look at and explore. I only wish we had a map because we didn't realize how much of AMP it was spread out over or how to navigate without getting lost a few times. Felt very safe and all the vendors/staff were kind and engaging.

    Not enough space

by Jenna on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

I understand we went on a Saturday and it’s a busy day, however it was very uncomfortably busy, and felt like the venue could not stand the amount of people, maybe they should limit tickets for certain days. Definitely was past maximum capacity, and not as enjoyable. Very stressful, especially if you have kids with you. We were elbow to elbow with people through our whole time there. My husband had an anxiety attack trying to maneuver the kids through the crammed stream of people. There seemed to be a lot of great things to see, but the lines were completely disorganized and crammed so we couldn’t actually do or see anything while where we there. For the money we paid, and the prices of food and drink, R.I. Comic con was a massive disappointment.

    Crowded, not ADA Friendly

by RI Comic Con 2023 on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

I was happy to be able to meet the celebrities I went for. I have balance issues due to MS and this convention was not ADA friendly. This Comic Con was confusing to navigate. They claimed to have a map, but didn’t. There was an app, but was not super helpful.

    Awesome but chaotic and overcrowded

by Hal J on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

Awesome to have so many celebrities so close but the venue(s) is just too small. Last year we went on Sunday and the crowds were about 1/2 what they were this past Saturday. Many areas were shoulder to shoulder. They moved the picture area this year (a good thing) but it was still overcrowded. Highly recommend going, but maybe go on Sunday for smaller crowds?

    Great time!

by SRZer0 on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

Despite the shoulder to shoulder crowds (as is the case with any comic con), everyone I encountered was pleasant. From the people picking up the trash, to the guy dressed as Cpt America, it was a fun, friendly vibe all around.

    R.I. comic con

by Elizabeth on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

The main room with the venders was way to tight. Maybe a few less booths to make more room to walk around. We had a stroller so had to take the elevators could use more signage on where to go once in elevator.

    Would go again.

by Sheri on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

Very well organized. Everyone was extremely friendly. A lot of cool booths to visits. High end celebrity meet and greats were pricey and they weren’t too friendly. Martin Klebba was incredible. Took his time and was very friendly. Should have more reasonable food choices. Would definitely go again. Love the droids

    Mostly good, some issues

by Tom W on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

Overall, a good experience. We attended on Saturday. There were some issues. The food trucks were too busy, making it nearly impossible to get food. The food in the convention center was underwhelming and overpriced. The celebrity guest area in the main convention center was disorganized and difficult to navigate. Panels were too close to each other (my wife had to leave one panel to get in line for another panel that was happening in the same room, just so she could have a seat). Despite these issues, the overall experience was very good, and I would recommend this event to others. I plan to attend again, but will make changes on my own to make it easier.

    good time. room for improvement

by bbossman on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

I was pleasantly surprised the prices were very reasonable. A better system needs to set up to get autographs, I like what they did in the rink, using ropes for each celebrity. Many more chairs are need to sit around and take a break. Lots of us older people.

    Disappointing year

by Disappointed on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

After attending many RICCs, this year was the most disorganized one yet! Great line up but the set up prevented many fans from actually getting to meet the celebrity guests. The volunteers -come on you make enough money to give them something- were overwhelmed, disrespected and at times extremely agitated. I felt like I wasted money after spending two hours and only meeting 3 guests. And you know it is bad when a celebrity guest says, "Boston was smaller but way more organized."

    Terribly managed this year

by Dani on 11/8/23Amica Mutual Pavilion - Providence

I have been attending Rhode Island Comic Con since 2014 and haven't missed a year, aside from Covid. This year was by far the most mismanaged, utterly disorganized, and poorly run event. There was so much wasted time waiting around for events to start, photo ops running two hours behind, complete lack of space upstairs, and way too oversold. There was such a tremendous lineup of people, and you couldn't even meet who you wanted to because of way too many people and complete lack of time management. Hope it's figured out for next year because I look forward to this every year, but will not keep going if this is what it's like.
