Formed in 1967, signed in 1971, and fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon's unrelenting drive, as well as non-stop touring and recording jump-started the burgeoning rock movement in the Midwest. Platinum albums and radio staples soon followed, setting the stage for the release of the band's explosive Hi Infidelity in 1980, which contained the massive hit singles "Keep On Loving You" and "Take It On the Run." That landmark album spent 15 weeks in the No. 1 slot and has since earned the RIAA's coveted 10X Diamond Award for surpassing sales of 10 million units in the United States.
From 1977 to 1989, the band released nine consecutive albums all certified Platinum or higher. Today, REO Speedwagon has sold more than 40 million albums around the globe, and Cronin and bandmates Bruce Hall (bass), Dave Amato (guitar), Bryan Hitt (drums), and Derek Hilland (touring keyboardist) are still electrifying audiences worldwide in concert with hits and fan-favorites such as "Ridin' The Storm Out," "Can't Fight This Feeling," "Time For Me To Fly," "Roll With The Changes," the aforementioned "Keep On Loving You" and "Take It On the Run," and many, many more.

Both REO and Cheap Trick were great to see in a small venue. Thoroughly enjoyed the longtime hits and excellent performers that entertained and got the audience involved. Still as good as ever if not even better. Loved RTZ in Cheap Trick!
REO does a great job and are consistently a joy to watch and participate in singing along!
When they were popular back in the 1980s, their music was "mellow"and often played on light rock stations. Now it's far less mellow, and we were disappointed.
Iāve seen them several times, they never disappoint
I enjoyed this performance, completely live and just a wonderful event!! I would do it again!
Great show very good seats. Sound for REO was very good. Sound for Cheap Trick bit distorted.
The energy level was incredible from the first song to the last strum of the guitar. The vocals are still as crisp and clean as they were 20+ years ago. The energy level was fantastic in the commitment to provide a quality show of relevant and new material was fantastic! Definitely a must see from anyone from 70 to 17.
I have seen them over the years and they have never disappoint. If you get a chance to see Kevin and the rest of the guys, please do!!! You wonāt be disappointed. 5 stars all the way.
REO put on a great show. They sound was clear and the choice of songs was good. It was a very enjoyable evening in a small personal venue.
Sound not adequate to 2024. Miserabel aquustic. And far too much air conditioned. Too cold. Waste of energy. US did still not hear the shot
Great show. Itās always nice when shows start and end on time. This band didnāt disappoint !!
REO Speedwagon was fantastic. Sounded amazing and enjoyable all around. Venue was great. Only issue was leaving parking lot which was a total mess. Need police to help with exiting and overall traffic issues.
Really Awsome concert. A lot of interaction from the audience. So glad we went
Great concert!! Bands were awesome! It was a little too loud causing some distortion because of the type of venue it was in.
Both bands were awesome. The venue was great, they sold out and they sounded so good. I have been a fan since the 70s and they didnāt disappoint. I want to see them again already.
Hertz arena was such a good time for the REO Speedwagon and Cheap Trick concert, I canāt wait to go back to Hertz arena again!!
Our first visit to Hertz Arena. Plenty of parking and a smaller venue. Every seat is a good one. Bring your ear plugs as the music is loud.
Both bands were great! They rocked the house! So glad I saw both bands!
Cheap Trick Hassan the crowd rocking and dancing. REO came out with two hits to begin and then performed unknown songs. The crowd was about half by the end of the set! Why would a band play side B songs. Waste of Time, should have left after Cheap Trick.
