Formed in 1967, signed in 1971, and fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon's unrelenting drive, as well as non-stop touring and recording jump-started the burgeoning rock movement in the Midwest. Platinum albums and radio staples soon followed, setting the stage for the release of the band's explosive Hi Infidelity in 1980, which contained the massive hit singles "Keep On Loving You" and "Take It On the Run." That landmark album spent 15 weeks in the No. 1 slot and has since earned the RIAA's coveted 10X Diamond Award for surpassing sales of 10 million units in the United States.
From 1977 to 1989, the band released nine consecutive albums all certified Platinum or higher. Today, REO Speedwagon has sold more than 40 million albums around the globe, and Cronin and bandmates Bruce Hall (bass), Dave Amato (guitar), Bryan Hitt (drums), and Derek Hilland (touring keyboardist) are still electrifying audiences worldwide in concert with hits and fan-favorites such as "Ridin' The Storm Out," "Can't Fight This Feeling," "Time For Me To Fly," "Roll With The Changes," the aforementioned "Keep On Loving You" and "Take It On the Run," and many, many more.

The band sounded exactly like I remember. They are so talented as musicians and artists. Thoroughly enjoyed the show.
Seats were great! Both bands were awesome! Bathroom lines move quickly kly. Nice selection of food trucks.
I really had a great night with my daughter!! They both sounded fantastic!! Reminded me of my younger days and was glad to share the experience with my 23 year old daughter, Malorie.
I’m surprised at all the great reviews for the show at Hertz Arena in Estero. While REO put on a great show, the sound system left much to be desired. As some others have said, it was hard to make out the words even to songs that we knew. The sound was much worse, as in absolutely horrible for Cheap Trick. I had been looking forward to seeing them, but their show was pure torture. The sound was sooo bad.
Amazing concert!! Took me back to the 80's!! Venue was great and employees were exceptional!!
Great, great concert, love the venue. Love REO, still great after all these years!!!
Great show. Even the opening act Levon was great. The venue is awesome and the staff are amazing. The show was great. We will go back again.
The sound system was terrible for both bands. Vocals to the point of not able to understand the words to very familiar songs. The beer choices very weak. $100 per ticket not worth it! I was looking forward to the concert but very disappointed.
My 16 year old son and I had a great time at Hertz Arena for REO/Cheap Trick. Sound was a bit off when Cheap Trick played but they were still good. REO was the highlight! So many great songs, amazing energy, and we liked hearing about the background of the band. Trying to get affordable tickets for REO/Train in Tampa in August.
