Saw The original show on Broadway 20 years ago which I loved. Wasn't sure if this show would be able to compare, & was more than pleasantly surprised. This cast was truly mind blowing with amazing talent!! Felt like I was on Broadway. It made you laugh & made you cry. Terrific performance by all & the voices were top notch!! Left the theatre feeling exhiliarated! would definitely see again. BRAVO!
After seeing Rent multiple times, I have to say this was one of the best productions I have seen. The voices were amazing and blended well. The actors skillfully captured the audience bringing us into the emotions and experience. Even though you knew what was coming - the actors brought a new and heightened engagement with the audience.
Genuinely one of the best performances I've seen. The venue itself was excellent; all the staff was very courteous and helpful. I am still amazed by how excellent the staging, the props, the coordination of the actors, and the overall performance skills were. 12/10, would definitely see again.
This was a last minute decision to attend a musical I have loved for many years!! My friend and sat about 20 rows back, center orchestra section and it was fantastic. What a talented group of performers. GO GO GO if you get the chance!
If you like pop/rock musicals. Rent is a must. Performance was right but if I have to say something, when you are an spectator, there´s "no day but today" even when they are in a tour with performance every day.
Outstanding! It is rare to see a show that doesn't have a weak cast member,but in this production, there is no weak link! Each and every actor was outstanding --- what voices. And the sound system at Browqrd Center does not disappoint either ... you could hear and understand each and every word. One great show with an amazing cast!!! Must see!

Was like watching my sons high school play. Left half way through
In all my years of going to shows - (all in NYC except this) - this is the first show I ever walked out of. I'm not sure if it was the location in the theatre (1st row balcony) but I didn't understand 70% of what they were singing. I had no idea what the show was about. After almost an hour and a half there was an intermission and my friend said to me "do you understand what's going on?". I said do you want to leave and she said Yes! Broward Center was a nice location - easy to get to, parking fairly easy.
What an amazing show and cast!!!! We enjoyed the show and this 20th anniversary Tour cast is so incredibly talented! So inspiring... Unforgettable! BONUS: We ran into the cast outside of the theatre after the show and they are all just as wonderful, fun and thoughtful as they are on stage! Big fans!
This show was energetic and fun. Of course there are serious moments but they are mixed with quite a bit of humor pulled off well by this marvelous cast. The vocals are amazing and the cast is really great putting so much energy into their performances. Benny and Angel were my favorites.

The show was amazing, but i feel that the artist who played mimi was not appropriate. Her voice did not match up to the voice of the character in the movie.
I cried like a baby in public and I don't even care! Mimi was fantastic as was the rest of the cast.

I've seen RENT many times and this performance was outstanding! Loved it!!
This was a very unusual stage performance. Everything was sung in prose, and I found this aspect fascinating. That said, we were sitting near the back of the theater and I found it difficult to hear quite a bit of the songs' lyrics. The performance was definitely slated for young adults. The story line was also difficult to follow, especially with the acoustics not the best near the back of the theater. The lyrics were also crude in places, although the audience enjoyed.
Loved, loved, loved it!!! Great show! I have seen this show about 4 times but this cast was my favorite so far especially Mimi and Angel! I over enjoyed myself! I think this venue was a better as far as sound and lighting!!! Awesome show, great music, loved the extra scenes that I had not seen before in any one of the other plays!! Can't wait to see it again! I wish I could sing on stage or that they would do a special package to sing with the cast in a part!!
Lots of singing throughout the same setup... Sorry, was bored. If you like mostly singing, this show is for you.
