In 2021, Rema announced he would officially be calling his sound Afrorave, a subgenre of Afrobeats, with special influence from Arabian and Indian music. Experience the magic of Rema for yourself and catch him live on tour when he brings venues to capacity, like Varsity Teater (Minneapolis) and Irving Plaza (NYC). Rema is spreading his infectious beats across the globe, and you have a chance to be there for it. Get tickets today and get ready to dance the night away.

Rema Live In Concert

Born in Benin City, Nigeria, Rema found fame at the young age of 18. He grew up singing and rapping all throughout grade school -- it just came naturally to him.. In 2018, Rema posted a freestyle on Instagram of him singing D'Prince's track, "Gucci Gang," and it ended up going viral. D'Prince saw the video and decided to fly Rema to Lagos to offer the artist his first record deal. Rema then signed with Jonzing World -- a subsidiary of Mavin Records. In 2019, Rema topped Apple Music charts in Nigeria with the release of his first EP, Rema. Stardom continued to rise after his song "Iron Man" ended up on former President Barack Obama's 2019 summer playlist. But his rise to fame didn't stop there. Also in 2019, Rema released his first music video for the song "Dumebi" featuring an appearance by Nigerian fashion model and fashion influencer Diana Eneje. The video has since garnered more than 55 million views. Following the release of two more EPs, Rema released his debut album titled Rave & Roses in March 2022. The 16-track album features guest appearances by prominent artists such as Chris Brown, 6LACK, AJ Tracey, and Yseult. The album topped the Billboard Afrobeats chart within the first week of its debut.  Rema has since been nominated for and won numerous awards, including being nominated for the Viewer's Choice award at the 13th edition of The Headies. In 2020, Rema also earned the Soundcity MVP Awards for Best New Artist. That same year, he was nominated for Best Viewers Choice: International Act at the BET Awards.

The show started on time, Rema had great energy throughout the night. His interaction with the audience is amazing, doesn’t feel like a concert but instead like a a vibe and a party.

    Def will go again!!

    by O.N on 8/8/23

Rema’s concert was amazing!!! It was a vibe and a great overall experience. Only thing is people in Dallas were shoving mad hard so it got hot quick and the girl behind me was all on me pushing which made me have to turn around several times during the concert and try to move away. Besides the downsides Rema is an amazing performer and can’t wait for him to go on tour again!!

    by Jan on 8/4/23

Rema has grown so much I appreciate his craft!!!! Seems as if there were some minor stage issues as he was going back to his DJ or maybe stage manager a few times during his performance. We love Rema !!

Rema No Dey Carry Last | Rema is Great Live!

    by Chi on 8/4/23

Rema owes me nothing💕! Saw him a few weeks back at the Coney Island Amphitheater and had me an amazing time!! I’ve seen a lot of artists at a lot of different venues, including Drake, & honestly Rema’s concert was far beyond theirs. It was more than a concert, but a full blown experience. I danced, I sang, I enjoyed, and it was so much fun! Rema was engaging and uplifting, he shared affirmations, and encouragements, and honesty made the event into a party. The audience was made up of every person you could think of: young and old, those familiar with his music and those hearing about him for the first time, everyone enjoyed! Victony was his opener, and he was equally as enjoyable. The venue was outdoors, but it was still very hot in the floor crowd, so I understand why the ATL show was prob canceled. However, don’t let those reviews deter you. Go see Rema if you have a chance, dress comfy and cute, be open minded, and be ready to dance and enjoy!

    2nd time seeing Rema

    by Maz on 8/1/23

This was my second time seeing rema, it was even better the second time around although the girl in front of me was really tall and looking at the back the whole entire concert instead of at the stage which sucks cause I could have stood in front her and enjoyed the concert even more with a better view. Can’t wait until rema comes back to Dallas for the 3rd time.

    AWFUL VENUE

    by Yaminah on 8/1/23

It was beyond hot in Atlanta Tabernacle and the ac appeared to either not be working or no one cared to turn it up. I’m not sure which unacceptable explanation is true. I was sweating from the start and left with a bad headache. Furthermore, the sound system was not up to par. This hot and poor sounding nightmare prompted the artist to justifiably cancel the show. Now it is a waiting game to see if I will be issued a refund for wasting my time.

The venue(Bayou music center) was amazing, very well ventilated, the seats were all good, food and drinks were served and most importantly Rema did not miss with his performance. I had way to much fun. Will definitely be going to another one of his concerts!!!

    Horrible

    by Hedwig on 7/30/23

The venue was not ventilated at all people were dying of heat and even some collapsed. All the workers did was give people water but if you were not in the front of General Admission you wouldn’t have received any because they refused to send it back. Horrible experience even performer cancelled show after hours of standing

    Organizers, we're in shambles

    by Jaywalker on 7/29/23

For me Rema was not the issue but the organizers. How can you be at a venue, and the environment was so hot that people were so uncomfortable & ventilation was very poor. Rema did the right thing by stopping the show, as people could have fainted or passed out in that venue. Show organizers did not value there customers or the artiste who came to perform at the show.

    He canceled the show

    by Usomine on 7/29/23

We got there and other artists performed. He came out and complained it was hot and asked if we wanted to go on with the show, we said yes. He then proceeded to cancel the show and said he’ll reschedule. I just want my money back atp.
