Rema On Tour

Divine Ikubor -- also popularly known by his stage name, Rema -- has taken the world by storm. The Nigeria-born Afrobeats artist rose to fame with the release of his song "Iron Man" in 2019. His smooth melodies, chill vibe and naturally persuasive rhythms ensure you will be dancing along to every track that comes on. In 2021, Rema announced he would officially be calling his sound Afrorave, a subgenre of Afrobeats, with special influence from Arabian and Indian music. Experience the magic of Rema for yourself and catch him live on tour when he brings venues to capacity, like Varsity Teater (Minneapolis) and Irving Plaza (NYC). Rema is spreading his infectious beats across the globe, and you have a chance to be there for it. Get tickets today and get ready to dance the night away.

Rema Live In Concert

Born in Benin City, Nigeria, Rema found fame at the young age of 18. He grew up singing and rapping all throughout grade school -- it just came naturally to him.. In 2018, Rema posted a freestyle on Instagram of him singing D'Prince's track, "Gucci Gang," and it ended up going viral. D'Prince saw the video and decided to fly Rema to Lagos to offer the artist his first record deal. Rema then signed with Jonzing World -- a subsidiary of Mavin Records. In 2019, Rema topped Apple Music charts in Nigeria with the release of his first EP, Rema. Stardom continued to rise after his song "Iron Man" ended up on former President Barack Obama's 2019 summer playlist. But his rise to fame didn't stop there. Also in 2019, Rema released his first music video for the song "Dumebi" featuring an appearance by Nigerian fashion model and fashion influencer Diana Eneje. The video has since garnered more than 55 million views. Following the release of two more EPs, Rema released his debut album titled Rave & Roses in March 2022. The 16-track album features guest appearances by prominent artists such as Chris Brown, 6LACK, AJ Tracey, and Yseult. The album topped the Billboard Afrobeats chart within the first week of its debut.  Rema has since been nominated for and won numerous awards, including being nominated for the Viewer's Choice award at the 13th edition of The Headies. In 2020, Rema also earned the Soundcity MVP Awards for Best New Artist. That same year, he was nominated for Best Viewers Choice: International Act at the BET Awards.

  • Not a good experience

by catthreat on 5/9/25MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

I never got to see Rema, I went there at 8:15 and he didn’t show up until 9:30 so I left. I have no idea when he showed up. I had to listen to his not so good warm-up group of people for an excruciating one hour and 15 minutes. Bad experience.

by Nicole on 5/7/25Rating: 3 out of 5

I would say he did great, but I never got to see him because he took two hours to get on stage, and I had to leave to make the train so I never got to see him, the dj guys were nice tho

  • Could have been better

by VL on 5/6/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was cut short due to technical issues which was pretty disappointing as Rema didn’t get to perform his complete set list. The sound was also poor and the atmosphere at Aragon overall felt scattered and disorganized.

  • Wow, energy

by Foy on 5/6/25Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Started late around 9:50pm but the dj helped keep us entertained. Rema is the definition of energy when it comes to energy, crowd control and just making the stage his own and you can tell by the visuals. I felt like he could have put in more songs and less intermission. Overall, I will definitely go again. 8.5/10 rating

  • REMA PARTY

by Shanté on 5/5/25Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I love the show! I would go to any one of Rena's concerts again. I went to this concert by myself and I completely had a blast!! Didn't even feel alone, everyone was so friendly and just overall enjoying the amazing vibe that Rema brought to stage!

  • Picked up

by Shejack on 5/5/25Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

It was a bit of a wait before Rema came on stage. The DJ and artist were a bit lack luster. Once Rema came on stage the concert got progressively better and the last 15-30 min of the show was pretty lit. I wasn’t too crazy about the gaps in between some of the songs. Smoother transitions are needed and a few songs repeated. A strong musical director would be helpful with pacing and ordering of songs etc. The dancers were amazing, especially the solo dancer for “Charm.” She was magical! I’m confident his shows will get better. He’s a talented artist.

  • It was on 🔥 fire

by Midley on 5/5/25Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Better than that it couldn't be, he is what he thinks he really is. I had a lot of fun. I'd like to go back again and again.

  • A Good Concert!

by NE on 5/5/25Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

A good concert that was high energy! Some technical difficulties and awkward breaks between sets of songs, but overall a good concert! Cannot wait to watch Rema continue to grow.

  • Coulda stayed home

by Rema Auntie on 5/5/25Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Waited 2 hours for Rema to perform. I was disappointed that I paid close to 100 dollars to listen to a DJ play for almost 2 hours. By the time Rema got to the stage, I didnt have much left in me to sit for 2 more hours. I only stayed an hr into his performance.

  • Wonderful
