  • Fantastic show... a must see!

    by Stephanie V. on 3/12/19The Cabot - BeverlyRating: 5 out of 5

This show had something for everyone! The bagpipers were so incredibly talented and put on an entertaining and uplifting show. When you are in the audience and the band on stage looks like they are having as much fun as those watching, you know you are at the right place! They played some current songs, some of their own songs, and a few traditional Scottish tunes... all of which were filled with passion, expertely performed, and not just by the bagpipers... the guitarist, bassist, keyboards and singer were truly great... but the drummers were beyond talented! We were so impressed with their skills and entertainment value, that I could have just watched them perform!!! This show is a can't miss and we look forward to seeing them again when they are back in the USA next year!

  • Greatest Bagrock Band on the Planet

    by m200pilot on 4/8/18Effingham Performance Center - EffinghamRating: 5 out of 5

The RCHPs never cease to entertain with their mash-ups of contemporary pop songs and classic bagpipe tunes. They are a must-see whether plaid runs in your blood or not.

  • The Red Hot Chili Pipers were amazing!

by MusicHouse on 4/4/18Akron Civic Theatre - AkronRating: 5 out of 5

The Red Hot Chili Pipers' performance was spirited! The music - both traditional and contemporary rock songs - was truly unique! The bagpipes, drums, guitars, piano and vocals created a poignant concert experience! Great fun!

  • Red Hot - Indeed They Were!!

    by Michael2131 on 3/29/18Veterans Memorial Auditorium - ProvidenceRating: 5 out of 5

I first heard of this band 5 years ago when in Edinburgh. I looked at them online and loved the concept and videos. They were appearing the evening of the day we flew out and I thought I would never get a chance to see them live. Well, I finally got the opportunity and it was definitely worth the 5 year wait! 3 pipers, a keyboard player, a guitarist, a bass player, a traditional drummer, 2 percussionists, and - to our surprise - a singer (from NYC) with a lovely voice. If you are familiar with the band, they performed a lot of their hits including the classic - "Smoke on the Water"/Thunderstruck". Deep Purple and AC/DC with bagpipes? Epic!! If you know them, don't miss the opportunity. If you are not familiar with them, check them out on YouTube and go see one of the most entertaining shows you will ever attend. By the way, they came to the lobby after the show to meet the fans, sign autographs, and pose with fans for photos. Regular people who love what they do and love their fans. Pretty cool and refreshing.

  • Worst concert I've ever attended!

by Gmgpk on 3/27/18Effingham Performance Center - EffinghamRating: 5 out of 5

The singer couldn't carry a tune if his life depended on it. Every time the bagpipers played their tune was the same. The drummers and guitar players carried the band and made it bearable. I will never see them again.

  • Great show!

    by TLA6506 on 3/25/18Akron Civic Theatre - AkronRating: 5 out of 5

If you have the chance, go see the Red Hot Chilli Pipers! It’s a fun, high energy show. If you bring little ones or if you are sensitive to very loud noises, you might consider ear plugs - it’s loud! But in a great way. Would be really awesome in an outdoor venue.

  • Best Bag Rock You'll Ever See

    by Rabb22 on 3/24/18Akron Civic Theatre - AkronRating: 5 out of 5

We really enjoy the Pipers and they never disappoint. The vocalist was a great addition to the high energy of the show. We'd never been to the Akron Civic Theater before, and that was an added treat. It's an amazing piece of interior design.

  • A TOTAL MUST SEE!

by CastleCamelotian on 3/23/18Akron Civic Theatre - AkronRating: 5 out of 5

The Red Hot Chili Pipers...a GRAND SHOW! An eclectic blend of the traditional 'pipes with rock & roll, blues, jazz, traditional and "fusion" that is so much more than a concert...it's an EVENT!!! The "band" supporting the pipers...AWESOME! The primary singer...dynamic vocal range that is a bluesy cross between MeatLoaf and John Belushi as "Jake Blues"! The snare drummer...a show by himself!

by SuezieQfromPA on 3/20/18Hershey Theatre - HersheyRating: 5 out of 5

An absolutely wonderful evening. They played modern songs with the Scottish twist of the bagpipes. Their vocalist was excellent. I would defintely go to another Red Hot Chili Pippers concert again.

Was not what we expected, in a good way. We loved the music and energy they sent to the audience. We are classic rock people and really enjoyed the slick transition to bag pipes keyboards drums guitars and occational vocals. Well done guys!!! We will undoutedly go again when they pass thru our area.

  • A truly UNIQUE concert experience!

by RJLOMMD on 3/20/18Hershey Theatre - HersheyRating: 5 out of 5

The word "unique" is much abused these days but to describe the incredible show and music of the Red Hot Chili Pipers as unique is a perfect fit. I don't believe there is another band of bagpipers and drummers who fit right into rock. They refer to it as "Bagrock." Their event is a great mix of music and incredible demonstrations of virtuosity. I first saw them on a PBS show in New Haven. A few years later travelling in Edinburgh, Inverness and the Isle of Skye you could hear their music playing in stores and malls. Many of the selections show these pipers making amazing music and performance technique. The drummers are equally amazing surpassing anything I've ever seen before. If you are a fan of bagpipes then you will enjoy this group. If you are looking for a new and unique musical experience then the RHCP should be a must...at least one time (but I'll wager that you will want more).

  • Wonderful show.

The Red Hot Chili Pipers were amazing showmen. They were fun and engaging as well as talented. I hope they return to the theatre in the future.

  • Pipers were definitely Red Hot!!!

by Septis on 3/20/18Hershey Theatre - HersheyRating: 5 out of 5

The Red Hot Chili Pipers were absolutely worth seeing if you love bagpipes. The band played old and new rock hits along with classics like Amazing Grace. One of the coolest parts of the show was the band inviting a local Club of Drum and Pipers to enhance one of the songs they played. I would definitely see them again.

  • Awesome!

by Mimiinbflo on 3/20/18Hershey Theatre - HersheyRating: 5 out of 5

This was the 2nd time we saw them, and we drove from Buffalo to Hershey for this concert. Totally worth it!
