  • Always a great show

by Anne on 6/23/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Rebirth is always a great show. I love seeing them every time. It was held at Ophelia’s which is a terrific intimate venue. The only downfall was that the air conditioning was out at Ophelia’s and the sound guy couldn’t get some of the playing sound up.

  • Always a good time!

If you aren't moving when listening to Rebirth, you may be dead! Great show, with lots of fun!

  • Rebirth in sane tempo

by Brass man on 4/1/24The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 3 out of 5

Love Rebirth Brass Band. I’ve seen them several times at festivals and they were great. Their show at the Vogel in Red Bank, NJ was OK but a bit disappointing. Every song was in nearly the exact tempo. So after 3 or 4 songs everything seemed to sound the same. The band needs to change the set and add in faster and slower tempo songs. That would make the show far more Interesting. Coming back to do an encore would also have been nice to reward fans who sat through a rather short and boring set due to the lack of tempo variations. I’ll go again one more time if they are at a festival I attend because they’re a great and fun band. But they need a more diverse set.

  • Amazing Band!! Terrible Seating Arrangement.

by MusicMan on 4/1/24The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 4 out of 5

Rebirth Brass Band was truly amazing and I would go see them again. I would have given 5 stars if this review was only for them. My negative review is for the venue: The Vogel. I purchased seats for the balcony table seating. I assumed these would be much better than floor seats since they were more expensive. I was terribly wrong and wished I had purchased floor seats. I have been to The Vogel before and have always purchased floor seats. This was my first time in the balcony and I won't sit there ever again. In the balcony there were 4 high top chairs around a cocktail table. Upon arrival it appeared to be a very nice set up. I soon realized it was not. Only the 2 seats close to the railing could actually see the stage and even that was a partial view! My partner needed to fully lean over the rail to see the full band. The two seats on the side of the table not near the railing were completely blocked from seeing the band. For the entire concert I had to stand, view the stage by stretching over my partner's shoulder (who was seated), and still only see about 1/3 of the stage. I saw most people near us doing the same, and some even left their seats altogether and went downstairs to stand in the back. I would never recommend buying seats in the balcony of The Vogel in Red Bank.

  • OUTSTANDING

by Rob on 7/4/23Rating: 5 out of 5

These guys are an absolute blast anywhere you can see them. House of Blues is indeed a great venue and we had a wonderful time, but I would watch Rebirth on Canal Street in a torrential downpour. Fantastic time. 25/10

  • Whoop! Whoop!! Whoop!!!

    by Ellena V on 1/17/23Thalia Hall - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

What a fun night! It was a Christmas gift from our daughters and we had a blast! We were in the balcony at Thalia Hall and the view was awesome, great sound, and loved how this band supported each other! Would definitely recommend venue and band!

  • Good show, not much nearby parking

Rebirth always puts on a good show, however, I prefer to catch them in a smaller room. Space in Evanston is better suited for their music, but nothing beats seeing them on their home turf at a venue like Tipitina’s or a club on Frenchmen Street.
