30 mins late, 1 hr 15 mins, overall really poor bang for the buck. Great band so that made up for it, but the musician diva thing is tired. Don't charge me over $50 plus a $10 pp minimum f&d for an hour or so of music.

  • Dance party for sure!

I was with six people, everybody was shaking everything, they danced so hard! Fun Time for sure!

  • Great, as usual!

Great musicians who know how to have a good time. We totally enjoyed the show, the songs, the singing. The end of the show felt a little like "spring break" but its all good! Will see them again.

Very fun and high energy albeit a bit loud (I'm old)

  • Who do they think they are!

Didn't get to see the band as they came on too late. Couldn't be persuaded to wait till 11pm to see them as the support bands were awful. One band could play but they chose maudlin depressing songs which did not get the crowd going, they got the crowd leaving. Really disappointed as I was looking forward to seeing them play.

Rebirth Brass Band sounded so bad I put ear plugs in. People in front of me got TP for their ears! No joke! There were some people by me that were yelling " GO HOME, GET OFF THE STAGE, YOU SUCK, AND MORE"

If you love NO then you will love this group live...you wont be upset about coming. 2/3rds of the crowd had never heard that much from them prior and they walked out smiling. Great Show!

  • Rebirth Brass Band @ Chico's was good...but...

by SadTrombone on 7/18/11Chico's House of Jazz - Asbury ParkRating: 3 out of 5

...why only 4 or 5 songs? One guy seemed seriously distracted/pissed and kept leaving the stage. They sounded good and all (though the constant fighting/bickering at the soundboard says maybe they weren't too happy), and any chance to hear these guys live just a few blocks from where I live is a good one, but I was definitely disappointed in the short set. Especially since they were the headliners. That said, I love Chico's! Great venue that I can't wait to visit again. Hopefully for a full show. :-)
