  • Awesome experience

by Lanky on 6/12/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 5 out of 5

My son and I went while I was visiting him from Kentucky. It is a great way to get your walk in if you try to bounce from group to group. Being able to be right up front when the professionals hit the ball off the tee is amazing. Having them walk within several feet of you making their way to the next shot is pretty cool also. Overall, a great experience with my son to watch these guys do what they do at The Open was priceless.

  • First time at TPC

by Whipper on 6/12/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 3 out of 5

As a first time location I am definitely cutting it some slack. Parking and overall traffic was an issue that needs to be addressed. The flow from 17 green to the concession stand near 2 tee/9 tee /18 Tee needs to be placed in a better location as it was a 25 minute trek for a hotdog ( and there was no line ups). Stopping at the cross ropes at 2/9/18 was the holdup. Many of the volunteers did not understand the rope up/ down process Will assess next year for improvements

  • Shuttle

by Groove on 6/11/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 4 out of 5

The event was great. Getting to parking and taking the shuttle was horrible. We walked and the only short cut was blocked off by media. This turned a 25 minute walk into an hour and a half. Who thought this out.

  • Spectacular tournament

by Jeff H. on 6/11/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 5 out of 5

The golf course is beautifully designed, offering spectacular scenery for photography. The Canadian Open was well-managed, and the competitions among professional golfers were exciting and full of unexpected outcomes.

  • Parking Chaos +

by Zincman on 6/10/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 3 out of 5

We attended the Friday session and it was 4 HOURS between arriving at the parking lineup to sitting in our seats at the 1904 club! 1904 club was a total disappointment with location and facilities. Not as promoted !

  • High anticipation with underwhelming result

by Bristled on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 2 out of 5

Visited Toronto for the RBC Open with great anticipation. I was disappointed with the limited representation of elite golfers in the field, however it was fun to see the most recognizable ones.. There was numerous event workers at the course who were generally pleasant and approachable, but unfortunately most of the ones I interacted with were not well orientated and could not provide any answers to numerous different questions. We purchased Fastpasses which was an absolute waste. There was no advantage to having one. We reserved and prepaid the recommended transportation shuttle, Bus.com, and were left stranded at the end of a frustrating day. Again, NO ONE at the TPC even heard of it, even tho it was a recommended shuttle partner on the event info online. Major disappointment.

  • Excellent experience -parking not so much

by Karin and Bob on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 4 out of 5

You need to improve the public parking. The buses had to do a three point turn every time they entered the Blue lot. With a bit more space they could easily have turned smoothly in to where they picked up passengers. Also better info in advance for public parking options. And a clear sign at the golf course where to meet the shuttle bus for the return trip. The event itself was wonderful!

  • Stuck in massive traffic jam near Caledon

by Disgruntled attendee on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 1 out of 5

Opening day transportation logistics for RBC Open at TPC Toronto Osprey were beyond bad. Even terrible is too kind a word. 2 hours to get from Caledon village to the golf course! Hundreds of vehicles were trapped on the main feeder county road due to one muddy, boggy entrance to the "parking"field. Drivers/passengers had to bail out of vehicles to pee and stretch their backs while stuck on the county road. And then came the interminable wait to get a bus to the golf course from the field -- the buses were, of course, stuck in the massive traffic jam. A big "F"for failure, RBC Open organizers. 3 1/2 hours after leaving Toronto and finally reaching the actual site of golf tournament, things got better. Beautiful course with reasonable layout. However, there was general ignorance amongst staff/volunteers regarding where to catch the bus back to the farmer's field parking lot -- not the same place where buses deposited spectators upon arrival, but some 800 metres or so "somewhere else". Congrats to Kiwi Ryan Fox, but shame on tournament organizers for giving paying spectators such a hellish experience getting into, and to a lesser degree, out of this remote golf course. An international embarrassment. Please get someone who knows something about moving people from A to B in the countryside (where, yes, rain can lead to muddy fields) to organize proper transportation next year.

  • RBC Canadian Open - poor execution with logistics

by RBC Canadian Open - parking a flop on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 1 out of 5

The planning and execution for parking was beyond POOR. It took myself and hundreds of cars over 2 hours to get parked and shuttled over to the course. I was in the Blue parking area which was in a farmers field with limited access by country roads. Apparently the rumor was that the Red parking lot got too much rain and thus the folks from the red parking lot ended up going to the blue parking lot. Not sure if this is correct or accurate but regardless, the management of the parking location and having sufficient shuttles buses was so badly planned. As bad luck would have it, this was my first attendance of the Canadian Open and it was just such a terrible experience for the parking that unfortunately it impacted the total day experience. This was my first and likely my last Canadian Open I will ever attend and of course, my circle of friends and family are hearing my horror story so not sure if my story will impact their decisions to possibly attend a future Canadian Open. I give this a 1 out of 10 rating. So sad to be writing this.

  • Atrocious Parking

by JDC on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 1 out of 5

I have been to many Opens over the years as well as PGA events in the US etc. The parking and inbound logistics for this event were by far the worst I have experienced. From the time I arrived at highway 10 and Beech Grove it took 2 hours to arrive at the course entrance. The course itself is nice but lacks character. Wide fairways and huge greens give the impression of a nice resort course for amateurs as opposed to a national championship.
