  • Parking Nightmare

by DM on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 2 out of 5

Pretty atrocious parking situation. Nevermind the full cancelation of the lots on the Thursday, even on a typical day, the lines to get in the lot were long, and awaiting shuttles is EVEN LONGER. Nearly 3hrs wasted. Not to mention a pretty unexciting place for the 1904 Club. If they intend to continue to host, they'll have to consider a much better experience.

  • Worst organized event I’ve ever experienced!!

by Lidz on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 1 out of 5

The organization at this event was woeful to say the least! I spent more time in a field waiting for a bus to the event than watching the golf! 2 hour wait in a field to get there and 2 hours to get back to car! That’s not accounting the time waiting to get into the parking field. I would never go to an open at this location ever again!

  • It was fine.

by Lucia on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 3 out of 5

Felt disorganized for parking, shuttles, and directions from staff. The course itself is beautiful but it’s less than ideal from location and accessibility. Blue parking closed early despite being pass holders. So went to shuttle. Shuttle was fine but it took 35 minutes waiting on a road just to turn into where the shuttle drops you off. Ended up being about 1.5 hours later than anticipated with all the rerouting to find parking.

  • Parking horrific

by Walker on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 2 out of 5

We arrived at Blue parking lot finally after being stuck in 5KM of traffic for a long period of time. Parking at Blue was well organized and we got a spot in about 10 minutes. We then saw line for bus to event and immediately knew why we saw so many people walking on the road as were told wait would be at least an hour. We proceeded to walk the 5-6km to the event which took well over an hour. Apart from it being a long walk it was not safe as Cars we going by at high speeds with lots of people walking , surprised nobody was injured or killed. We were surprised that the police didn't get involved as a safety concern. Event was very good and well organized.

  • A nightmare from start to finish.

by Golf Fan on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 1 out of 5

The whole experience was a nightmare. It took 1.5 hours to drive there. There was a long lineup to get into the parking lot. Parking costs were exhorbitant. There was a massive line up to get on the bus to the event. At the event, it was only possible to see two golfers hit their balls. The food was overpriced - $21 for a burger.

  • Disappointing set up

by Bob on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 1 out of 5

Parking was terrible. Also expensive. Multiple parking lot attendants gave wrong advice and directions. Then too 1-1/2 hours to get from dirt roads outside lot B to event long waits for shuttles. Return shuttle smelled like raw sewage. Very very unpleasant. At event the viewing areas nearer offs were uselsss. The foot traffic made it impossible to walk along to follow a group no wheee to sit down all day. Let my lines at concessions. All in all very poor. Golf was good

  • Would love to do it again!

by Julia on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 5 out of 5

Tickets were an amazing gift! We would love to go again next year if we can get tickets!

  • Golf great, parking horrific!

by Burke on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 2 out of 5

We really enjoyed the golf but the parking was unbelievable organized! Closed parking lots. 1 hour to travel 1km to get to the parking lots. If they host next year too, major improvements will be needed!

  • No Parking

by Brian on 6/9/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 3 out of 5

I was there on the Thursday morning and was stuck in traffic trying to find parking. I eventually parked outside of town and took an Uber to the event. Once at the event, it was a great setup with many vendors and spots to watch the golf.

  • The access to the venue was terrible..,

by Bk on 6/8/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 3 out of 5

Couldn't easily get to parking lot. From 1.2 kms from parking lot entrance to actually arriving at the golf course was just over 2 hours. More food venues at course needed - waited almost 45 mins in line. These things cast a shadow on the day. Serious upgrades to infrastructure before next year are required!!

  • Good and bad

by Swead on 6/8/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 3 out of 5

Parking on Thursday could not have been worse. Incredibly disorganized, those people had no clue as to what they were doing. Closing a lot and not telling anyone until they drove there, ridiculous. Backing into spots, time wasting. Grandstands were very well put together, lots of great viewing areas, can get very close to the golfers. App to track golfers was quite good. No food available, a least on the out holes, until 10:30 or 11 when gates open at 7 was also ridiculous, and way too much focus on alcohol. Not a single place to get a coffee and very limited food selections overall. Seems like aspects of the tournament that were likely overseen by the PGA were very good, but local aspects were very bad.

  • First time!

  • Gorgeous course

by Golflover on 6/8/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 3 out of 5

Been to a few Canadian Opens in the past, we went Thursday this week. Parking was an absolute nightmare, took 2 hours to travel 1.2 kms and park in the red lot. Shuttles were great, got us to and from the course quickly. Great sightlines on the course to watch the players. More washrooms were needed on the course at more locations. Overall the experience was okay, if future tournaments are to be played there more planning and thought has to go into it.

  • Osprey Valley Disaster

by BP Pint Destroyer on 6/8/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 1 out of 5

Horribly planned parking and terribly executed. Extremely inefficient spectator layout. No water stations around the course and very limited washrooms. Volunteers were clueless and brutal at their job. Not going back in 2026

  • RBC open

by Diane G on 6/8/25TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 5 out of 5

Very happy with the way the event was organized. Parking was easy and lots of buses available to shuttle to event. Downloaded the golf ap which made it easy to keep up to date with the standings & where players were on the course. Also loved the new venue being out of the city. Will be back next year for sure!

  • Canadian Open

  • Awesome

by Bette on 6/7/24Hamilton Golf and Country Club - AncasterRating: 5 out of 5

It was all so well organized and the course design and condition were second to none. Being part of it all was a tonne of fun.

  • Great day

by RobJ on 6/6/24Hamilton Golf and Country Club - AncasterRating: 4 out of 5

The event was great! Loved seeing all the golfers and their amazing shots!! But the food was incredibly expensive and any drink I got was warm.

  • Exciting time ever

by Excited fan on 6/5/24Hamilton Golf and Country Club - AncasterRating: 5 out of 5

It was my first time ever attending, and although the weather didn’t cooperate on the Sunday, I found it to be be so exhilarating to see pros like Rory Mcllroy, Tommy Fleetwood , Shane Lowry, and the Canadians, Taylor Pendrith, Corey Connors and Mackenzie Hughes. The event was professionally organized, HGCC , is a beautifully layed out course, that I believe made it challenging for the players.
