  • First time golf tournament

by Elke on 6/14/23Oakdale Golf & Country Club - North YorkRating: 5 out of 5

It was amazing to visit the RBC Canadian open golf tournament. I’ve seen it on television before, but a whole different experience to be there in person. I would definitely recommend people going and experience this first hand. The concert on Saturday was a nice addition. Though sound check was poorly done. Sound of the instruments was loud while the singing was not loud enough, so you were barely able to hear the singing.. So don’t buy tickets just to see an artist, it’s not worth it.

  • Outstanding for avid golfers

by DMoneyfans on 6/13/23Oakdale Golf & Country Club - North YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The pricing for the 1904 and parking was outstanding used every minute of the ticket experienced the vendors and the score finally for the tee block. Hope the pricing stays. Being so close to the greats and able to walk the entire course was absolutely mind blowing. Food was wonderful drinks were good just not a fan of sleeman and sounded like alot of the other fans thought the same too.

  • RBC Canadian Open - June 10,2023

by Nicole on 6/13/23Oakdale Golf & Country Club - North YorkRating: 5 out of 5

It was an enjoyable outing. Volunteers were absolutely wonderful. We were able to get a ride from the gate to our seat and back again at the end of the day. A big thank you. Sat at the 9 green in the handicap area. Could have used more chairs.

  • Alanis once in a life time. Golf venue giant mess.

by Jen on 6/13/23Oakdale Golf & Country Club - North YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Alanis Morissette was everything i hoped for and more. The golf venue was unorganized and you really had no idea where to go. No one checked our ticekts and we paid extra thinking it would put us up front at the concert but it was just for the golf. I wish they separated the golf and concert better so you new what you paid extra for. Leaving the concert and getting to a bus was organized and handle very well.

Golf Canada has done a great time organizing the Canadian Open. The Golf Canada app is very useful. Great event and would definitely go again.

  • 100% Canadian

    by ACHILLES L S on 6/13/23Oakdale Golf & Country Club - North YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Excellant. So proud to wear the Canadian Hat! Course was awesome and the crowd was pure and proud. Then, supported all golfers, but....the Canadians all the way! The 14th hole....wow! Love The Whole Day!

  • Great event (as always) but could have minor improvements

by Erik on 6/13/23Oakdale Golf & Country Club - North YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Attending the RBC Canadian Open for the second year, I noticed several changes compared to last year. The designated entrance to the course was a welcome improvement, providing a seamless entry experience. It was fantastic to see food trucks and the pro shop conveniently located right at the entrance. While navigating the course proved challenging initially due to its layout, we quickly adapted and familiarized ourselves with it. Unfortunately, the Golf Canada app was malfunctioning, which made it impossible to pre-order food and drinks. Moreover, there was only one water bottle refill station available throughout the entire course. On Sunday, many food options were sold out, leaving us disappointed when popular items like hot dogs and burgers were unavailable as early as 1 o'clock in the afternoon. The #14 hole rink could have benefitted from several improvements. Considering it was the highlight of the Canadian Open, one would expect larger bleachers and ample space to accommodate the sizeable crowd. In contrast, the #16 hole rink at the 2022 Open had mesmerizing features that enhanced the overall experience, as even Rory McIlroy acknowledged. To summarize, while there were some areas for improvement, overall, attending the RBC Canadian Open was still a great experience.

  • Lousy parking directions

by Susie Q on 6/11/23Oakdale Golf & Country Club - North YorkRating: 1 out of 5

Gave wrong info on parking directions. Finally found our way.

  • Pathetic

by Sampath on 6/11/23Oakdale Golf & Country Club - North YorkRating: 1 out of 5

Why make us pay 100 bucks for entry, but provide no viewing options on key holes...like 9 or 18?? Every single position is sold to Corporate sponsors. Ultimate greed and disrespect for the regular joe.

  • Oakdale Experience

by chipper on 6/11/23Oakdale Golf & Country Club - North YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Logistics is everything. getting to the course, inside the course and getting back to the car. generally minimal delays considering traffic in the area. Bathroom facilities are typical but the bus was nicer.

  • Good experience

by GolfCan on 6/10/23Oakdale Golf & Country Club - North YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Went on Wednesday to the pro/am. Had a good time. Walked the full 18 holes to get an idea of the layout for my TV watching for the weekend. The course is in excellent condition. The layout is challenging with narow faiways and VERY heavy rough. Really enjoyed watching the amatures trying to hit second shots on the par 4's out of the rough. 160 yards to the pin and they would manage about 10 feet. Then try the same shot again and hit it another 10 ft. Finally the light goes off and just hit it back onto the fairway. Why I enjoyed this is because I would have foolishly done exactly the same thing !! Thats why we are amatures. There where literally 100's of volunteers there to help you out, give directions, etc. My only compaint was that they should have provided us with a tee sheet when we arrived so we could see which Pros where playing and what time they were teeing off. Overall a first class event that was very well organized. Oh and parking at Downsview park was excellent and shuttle service was excellent as well.

  • Great 4 Days

by Sisson on 6/10/23Oakdale Golf & Country Club - North YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Honestly a great event all around. Showed up on Thursday online said gates open at 6:30 didn’t get in until 7, at a golf event have to have the gates open before first tee time. No concessions open till 10 I believe, if u don’t want people drinking that early? At 7 would like to be able to buy a coffee or a water and then head out to the course. A little unorganized at the gate, first day had a small bag not allowed, second day allowed? After a bag check should be allowed to bring a bag in. Like I said though great 4 days Tuesday-Friday, thats my honest review the golf was awesome will be back when Toronto gets the Canadian open again

  • Excellent venue and well organized

by Toady on 6/17/22St. George's Golf and Country Club - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was so much better organized than the one in 2019. In 2019 we waited almost 3 hours for a bus when we left but this year buses were waiting and I was a much happier fan. Loved the day.
