Rascal Flatts Concert Schedule

Marrying pop with country is an art form all its own, and Rascal Flatts is proof positive. The harmonious trio from Ohio create both melodic ballads and thumping dance numbers. Comprised of Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus, the group has a penchant for meaningful lyrics and a sense of soul. Rascal Flatts live performances are rousing and welcoming. The energy in the crowd is frenetic, and the large live band creates an unparalleled buzz through the air. The band appeals to a young demographic and has earned the CMA award for Best Vocal Group of the Year and the ACA Decade Artist Award, along with other acclaim. Rascal Flatts earned the No. 1 spot on the U.S. Country Music charts for more than a dozen of their songs, including "Fast Cars and Freedom" and "Here Comes Goodbye." Rascal Flatts tours include the 2016 Rhythm and Roots Tour, 2015 Riot Tour and 2014 Rewind Tour.

Rascal Flatts Background

Rascal Flatts hails from Ohio, but they first assembled as a group in Nashville at the Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar in the late '90s when second cousins LeVox and DeMarcus connected with Don Rooney through mutual friends. In 1999, the group recorded a three-song demo that was played for a Lyric Street executive by their producers. Soon, the band was signed to the Lyric Street label and within a year they would have a single on the Billboard charts. Some of their first big shows included opening for Kenny Chesney at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville and joining a stop on the Neon Circus Tour in Bristow, VA. Influenced by everyone from George Jones to Stevie Wonder, Rascal Flatts quickly started accruing hit singles with their unique blend of country with a pop twist. The song that got them signed to their record label, "Prayin' for Daylight," reached No. 3 on the Billboard charts soon after they got their contract. Between 2000 and 2005, the group released and impressive three albums, and they continue to record at a breakneck pace. In 2014, their album Rewind debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. Over the course of their career, the band's awards have included the ACM Top New Vocal Duo Or Group in 2001, People's Choice Awards Favorite Group in 2009, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012.

    rascal's at ocean casino

by elevator guy on 3/9/20Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic City

I had a very enjoyable concert at Ocean casino , great place to see a venue and rascal Flatt rock, i will say i thought the audio could have been more audible as we could not understand the words as the accoustics were off . Ocean is a beautiful casino with phenominal rooms and Rascal Flatt are a premiere band , hopefully next time we will be able to hear the words as we do know the songs and love them .

    Disappointed

by Tricia on 3/9/20Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic City

I had seen Rascal Flats previously and absolutely loved the performance. I have to say I was soo disappointed with the show on Friday, March 6th at the Ocean Hotel in Atlantic City. The sound was just awful. The background music was so loud and the microphones were also too loud. The thing I love most about Rascal Flats music is the lyrics to their songs and I can honestly say I couldn't understand any of the words that were sung. I love their music and will continue to listen to them but definitely not sure if I would see their performance. I was thinking about getting tickets to their Jones Beach show in September but a little leary now.

    Poor audio quality

by A. on 3/9/20Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic City

The sound quality on the floor was not very good - definitely the worst of the 4 times we have gone to a Rascal Flatts show. We could hardly hear the singing because of the base. We were on the floor 6 rows from the stage.

    Rascal Flatts was totally amazing!

by Jim on 3/9/20Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic City

Their performance was stellar! They are so humble and kind. We got the opportunity to sit with them for an acappella session prior to their concerts and they were very witty and friendly and of course sang beautifully. Their concert was nothing short of perfection. An amazing group which will be sorely missed. Hope they come back for another tour after this one. It was nothing short of amazing !!!!

    Horrible!

by Hope on 3/9/20Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic City

The venue is small relative to venues you may have been to in your past. This is the only good characteristic of the evening. The sound system was not properly set up for such a smaller space. One would question (1. Did a sound check actually occur. 2. Who's team worked the sound system? 3. Why didn't anyone let the Rascal Flatts know the sound was horrible.) I can't believe we actually stayed for 1 hr. Amada Restaurant was Olsons very disappointing and expensive. We know how good it can be.

    Constructive criticism

by Country music fan on 3/9/20Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic City

Awesome concert!! Absolutely adore Rascal Flatts, however, I was fitting front and center stage fifth row back. Music too loud for the Ocean arena size. Overpowered the the singing, couldn’t understand the words and video mouthing did not match the actual words. Wouldn’t stop me from attending again.

    Great Show. Venue Needs Work

by The Ill’s on 3/9/20Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic City

The show itself was great, however the venue was understaffed. They had a lot of ushers and security, but needed more people at the bar to get the drinks out quicker and could have used 1 more souvenir stand to help break up lines as well or even more help. There were only 2 people handing out souvenirs.

Great but sound system or acoustics issue

Sound system was too loud our chairs vibrated. The singers were great but could not hear them clearly.

The Meet and Greet was much shorter than in the past

by Barbi on 3/9/20Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic City

Meet and Greet had the guys that tune guitars were longer and sang more than RF. They did read a few questions and it was nice but not as long as other meet and greets. Inside venue we were in row KK dead center. IT WAS SO FREAKING hot, my God it was uncomfortable. Every one around us saying same thing. The graphic behind the band so annoying, they did more talking and more playing then actually singing. I LOVE RF seen them in Homdale and one other time in AC, so third time was not a charm. Other two concerts were amazing, this not so much.

by Litbritrac on 3/7/20The Avalon Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

    Singing audience

by Ak on 11/7/19Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom - Ridgefield

Concert and pre show were great, just didn't realize they would have so many parts where they had just the audience sing. Casino and road crew did a great job with lighting and background video. Looking for The Show and it just fell a little short. I've been a big fan and enjoyed the show but no wow factor hit me.
