Rascal Flatts Concert Schedule
Marrying pop with country is an art form all its own, and Rascal Flatts is proof positive. The harmonious trio from Ohio create both melodic ballads and thumping dance numbers. Comprised of Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus, the group has a penchant for meaningful lyrics and a sense of soul. Rascal Flatts live performances are rousing and welcoming. The energy in the crowd is frenetic, and the large live band creates an unparalleled buzz through the air. The band appeals to a young demographic and has earned the CMA award for Best Vocal Group of the Year and the ACA Decade Artist Award, along with other acclaim. Rascal Flatts earned the No. 1 spot on the U.S. Country Music charts for more than a dozen of their songs, including "Fast Cars and Freedom" and "Here Comes Goodbye." Rascal Flatts tours include the 2016 Rhythm and Roots Tour, 2015 Riot Tour and 2014 Rewind Tour.
Rascal Flatts Background
Rascal Flatts hails from Ohio, but they first assembled as a group in Nashville at the Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar in the late '90s when second cousins LeVox and DeMarcus connected with Don Rooney through mutual friends. In 1999, the group recorded a three-song demo that was played for a Lyric Street executive by their producers. Soon, the band was signed to the Lyric Street label and within a year they would have a single on the Billboard charts. Some of their first big shows included opening for Kenny Chesney at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville and joining a stop on the Neon Circus Tour in Bristow, VA. Influenced by everyone from George Jones to Stevie Wonder, Rascal Flatts quickly started accruing hit singles with their unique blend of country with a pop twist. The song that got them signed to their record label, "Prayin' for Daylight," reached No. 3 on the Billboard charts soon after they got their contract. Between 2000 and 2005, the group released and impressive three albums, and they continue to record at a breakneck pace. In 2014, their album Rewind debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. Over the course of their career, the band's awards have included the ACM Top New Vocal Duo Or Group in 2001, People's Choice Awards Favorite Group in 2009, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012.
Horrible sound and the concert lasted an hour? Def would love my money back!
Was everything i was hoping for and sooo much more. Ive waited my whole life to see them in concert and they did not disappoint
I absolutely love Rascal Flatts music and even bought tickets in different rows (all we could get) because I wanted to go that bad. There were four of their most popular songs that they had different arrangements to which made them hard to understand. There were several off key moments and whole song they threw to the audience to sing - I didn't come for a sing along with 1000 of my closest non friends! It was disappointing for sure. We left in song two of three of the encore- walked directly to our car (ten minutes top) only to hear the traffic control freaking out- screaming "I see them, close the road, they are coming!!!" and to look back and see the bands buses screeching out of the parking lot. I have NEVER seen a band get out of dodge that quickly- they had to literally RUN out of there. They didn't seem like they wanted to be there, and it showed.
Rascal Flatts was great, they played all their best songs and were very good. The only issue I have is this was the shortest concert I have been to in 40 years, which was very disappointing.
Love the venue and the music was fantastic. The only thing I was disappointed in was Not being able to get a picture with the band after spending so much money for VIP.
This was by far the best concert experience I have ever had!!! As one of Rascal Flatts biggest fans, and 5th time seeing them live, this VIP experience was AMAZING! I even caught a pick and was handed the playlist that was taped to the floor!! Can’t wait to do it again!
Concert was very loud and it was hard to understand the words. Would have preferred the great harmony that these guys create.
About the venue: Probably won't buy tickets for this venue again. The Ilani Casino Ballroom stage isn't tall enough for me, I'm 5'6 with boots on, to see the artists on stage. The flat layout of the chairs doesn't allow for shorter people to see the stage or barely the big screens. The regular-sized chairs are fastened together so if a bigger person is seated next to you and encroaches over into your space, there is nothing you can do about it. It is VERY uncomfortable! Heads up, Ilani is charging Moda Center prices for this venue. I'll even go up to Tacoma to have better stadium-type seating. About the artist: They started late and only played for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Geez, even Elton played for 3 hours. Final answer: Just not worth it.
I am i love with Rascal Flatts - have wanted to see them live for over a decade. When I finally pay the $100 per ticket to hear THEM sing, I end up hearing the audience sing most choruses instead of the lead singer. It was so frustrating, the leas singer would sing the up to the chorus and then point the microphone toward the audience to sing the chorus. Not on one song, not on two songs but MOST songs. I don't want to hear the people around me sing the song, I can do that at home. I wanted to hear Rascal Flatts sing the song. Other than that - it was fun.
The seating at the ballroom is all at an even level. So when everyone is standing, if you are shorter you will not see anything but the backs of people's heads. Or their back if you are short like me... The acoustics were ok in the room. I probably wouldn't go back unless I had free tickets as $200 was a higher price to pay for 2 tickets to not see anything, not even the side screens. Not to mention the people behind us leaning and bumping our chairs the entire concert. My husband was smacked in the head and shoulder a few times by the lady behind him having a good time. Very close quarters and no view.
This was my first vip experience. Ilani needed better communication on checking in vip and still needing to pick up tickets. Otherwise wish I knew time frames for the vip when buying tickets. Otherwise amazing show!
They were great sounded great but would have been nice if they played for longer. At just under an hour it was not enough
The band and the opening acts were wonderful. All the songs they played were favorites. This was a bucket-list item and have wanted to see them for years. The venue was nice and small and you could see all the happenings on stage.
I loved everything about it, They were as good live as they are when Im in my car singing along. Had a blast!
Love Rascal Flatts, and they did not disappoint. They put on a fast-paced, high=energy show, playing all the songs I hoped they would and then some. The biggest damper of the evening was two-fold: after the initial two performers there was a good half hour break while the roadies set up for Rascal Flatts. That was a bit long, I thought, though I realize a whole set had to be taken down and restruck. Perhaps reversing the order of the two earlier performers could have fixed that. The biggest issue, however, was the sound. It was so echo-y in there we could not understand half the words of any of the performers (we were in the Reserved Floor section), and could hardly hear Aaron Goodvin's voice at all. If the Entertainment Centre wants to continue to attract big acts it would be a good idea for the powers-that-be to actually install some proper sound panels from the roof so the sound quality is improved. Apart from those two issues, however, I had a great evening; money (mostly) well spent!
I felt like the sound mix was terrible for Rascal Flatts. You couldn’t hear what they were saying when they spoke, it was just too loud, the playlist wasn’t good. Overall this concert did not live up to expectations.
Concert itself was amazing. Concessions in the other hand were horrible. They couldn’t accept my bank card because it was a visa debit card, which most debit cards are these days. Secondly, my chicken strips were super dry and there was no ketchup in any of the dispensers near my section and this was before the concert even started.
They were awesome but the sound was terrible! The base over powered the vocals and the rest of the band and made for not a great concert!!!!!!
The level of the base was extreme. I enjoy a good base sound but I could not hear the words over the base. Even when they brought out the banjo player the banjo was hard to pick out. It totally ruined my experience.
The concert was awesome!! Sound was great and their voices.. incredible really... just SO much fun! My 3 young boys were there too, 4th year in a row..!! Love how the band totally interacts with the crowd and everyone just singing every word.. just awesome! 👏👍🏻
