Rain - A Tribute to the Beatles is a live, multi-media spectacular that takes you on a musical journey through the life and times of the world's most celebrated band. Going further than before, this expanded RAIN adds even more hits that you know and love from the vast anthology of Beatles classics such as "I Want To Hold Your Hand," "Hard Day's Night," "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Let It Be," "Come Together" and "Hey Jude."
This stunning concert event takes you back in time with the legendary foursome delivering a note-for-note theatrical event that is the next best thing to the Beatles. Don't miss the Broadway smash that's taking the world by storm!
The Saenger was beautiful. The music was great. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed myself!!
I was transported back to an era of great music, dance and clothes.
Great show.... can't wait to see them again would like for them to come to my home town, this is the second time I gave seen them and just keeps getting better
Rain was awesome as usual. We have seen them before but the Saenger is an awesome venue.
Rain was wonderful!!! I attended with my 17 year old son and we both sang every song
Everything was incredible! The voices, costumes, and music were spot on! It genuinely felt as if we were watching the Beatles perform. It brought my wife to tears on more than one occassion. My absolute highest recommendation!
Rain-A Tribute to the Beatles was excellent and the performance certainly captured the amazing life and songs of the Beatles before their breakup. The music arrangements were done masterfully and the performers are very talented musicians and singers. Regarding the Saenger Theater, that is an awesome venue for performances and I think holds it's place as unique in this Country. The renovations and attention to keeping the historical significance of this building are superb. The sound system is second to none and the artful videos and other affects added colorful and stimulating impact to this show. Security and crowd control is also excellent and we were surprised that the New Orleans police presence as well as stopping traffic to allow for easy into and out of the theater was handled proficiently and professionally.
We were truly blown away by this tribute band to the Beatles!
GREAT show!! I already recommended it to many of my friends!
I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Rain not only had the Beatles' sound, but the look, that changed as the show progressed, was impressive as well. I would see them again.
The show captured the music of the Beatles from their begining to the end. Musicians actually played the instruments instead of having pre-recorded music. Beatles music is not that easy to play, but they did it well
Bottom line it was like being at a Beatles concert. The lights, live music, vocals were all electrifying. Do not miss this show!
I highly recommend this show !!, it takes you back to the Beatles beginnings and forward !
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!! This is our second Rain concert, having caught them for the first time in Austin. They give an unforgettable, stellar performance that just about transports you to the 60s and in a much more intimate concert setting than fans of the Beatles would have enjoyed in those big football stadiums! These guys are very believable as the Beatles and even engage the audience with British accents. The show is always over before we're ready, and we could see it over and over again.
Excellant performance by very talented musicians. One can see the age creeping up on a copuple of the musicians, as they have been at it since the 1970's. Only disapointing part was that there were no programs with the history of this touring group, and no concessions after the show where you could purchase memorabilia-t-shirts etc. Never been to a concert of this magnitude without the above. Otherwise, I highly recommend!!
GREAT performance at the Philips Center in Gainesville, FL... - good selection of Beatles tunes - guitar solo in While My Guitar Gently Weeps was spectacular - my second time seeing this act and I would pay to see them again.
This was a great evening of fun. Rain did a great job of taking you back to that wonderful time of the Beatles. Not only the music, but the costumes and video backgrounds. The show had an excellent pace to it and even the costume change breaks were seamless. Of course this is not the Beatles. However, they did a great job with the instruments especially since many of the later Beatles songs were not designed to be played live. The fans were singing in the aisles and dancing so I would say it was a big success. Go and have fun.
This show was much better than I expected. Tickets were a Christmas gift to my husband who is a big time Beatles fan.
Raised during the Beatle era I never had an opportunity to attend one of their concerts. All that changed at Robinson Center in Little Rock where I attended a most remarkable concert. I had the pleasure of a VISUAL and MUSICAL experience like never before. The 5 musicians are all exceptional and I would pay just to hear "RAIN" play other stuff. If you love the Beatles' music - go see RAIN. You will not be disappointed. Worth every cent for the tickets.
Close your eyes and you will think you are at a live Genuine Beatles Concert. Open them and watch the backdrop screen and you will think you are at a live Genuine Beatles Concert. Fantastic video show, fantastic music, fantastic period depiction. Best bargain in years. Non stop hits for one hour and ten minutes, fifteen minute intermission , then another one hour of non stop hits...
