Surprisingly mediocre
by spaceytracey on 1/24/12Elliott Hall of Music - West LafayetteMy 17 year old daughter is really into the Beatles. The reviews of this performance were great and it's at Purdue (her favorite college). So, off we went. I was surprised at the age of the audience -- I'd guess it to be in the mid to late 60's. I think I was expecting something more in line with just someone singing cover songs of the Beatles, but was surprised to find that these were talented "actors" who were trying to Be the Beatles. That sent me into a laughing frenzy which lasted through an entire song and I ended up laughing so hard that I cried. My daughter and everyone else seemed to enjoy this show. Since I wasn't prepared for the immitation to the degree it was done, I was not impressed.
