I love Beatles music...it's amazing to see the transformation of their music through the years. This show shares that change. The singers encourage audience interaction. The ending with Hey Jude is amazing!

I enjoyed Rain very much. They sound like what the Beatles would've sounded like 50 years ago. Please see them when you get the chance.

  • RAIN just as impressive the second time

by DanMcDonald on 2/6/14Saenger Theatre New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

The RAIN performance at the Saenger Theatre was the second time we had seen that show, having previously attended a production in Lafayette two years earlier. It was just as enjoyable and fun the second time ... the quality of the production was good and the performers did a great job of pulling off the various Beatles eras. The fact that there is no pre-recorded music, all of it done from the stage, is impressive considering the wide variety and the effect-heavy music from the later Beatles years. We wanted to attend in part to see the renovations at the Saenger, since we hadn't been there since it was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, and that was an added bonus ... but the show would have been well worth it even if it was on a street corner. It's a "must" for Beatles fans and highly recommended for anyone who has an affinity for music and grew up in the '60s.

  • Rain is the One to See

by PickyGuy on 1/25/14Rosemont Theatre - RosemontRating: 5 out of 5

We have seen many Beatle tribute groups over the years. Some are pretty good. But Rain is the complete package, a real show, and top quality. No recorded parts. Cool video backgrounds. And the whole range of the songbook. If you never got to see the real thing, Rain is the next best thing. SEE RAIN. We loved it.

Very good and lots of fun, especially if you're a Beatles fan. The actors look, sound, and even talk like John, Paul, George, and Ringo!

If you love the Beatles, then you have to see Rain. Feels like you are at a concert. They are also very interactive with the audience.

  • Rain..more than a success

by urbplanner on 1/22/14Saenger Theatre New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 4 out of 5

The Rain presentation was excellent. It covered most of the better known Beetle hits and a few that were more tangential. The band members have the accents down pat, the mannerisms are great (esp Paul) , the instruments were great (esp Harrison) Special tribute to the keyboardist who is amazing. The scenery, the lighting and the special effects were stunning for a traveling show. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks

I loved this experience. Even if you have never heard of the Beatles, or listened to their music, you will have a great time. The members of the band were good with communicating with the audience and keeping us involved. I loved the New Orleans Theater, it was spacious and clean. All in all it was a wonderful afternoon had by all.

The show was wonderful. My husband and my youngest daughter are both beatle fans and they both enjoyed the show. We have seen Rain before at a much smaller venue and the view and show was nicer in a smaller venue.

It was great! Music was great!! Missed a few of their special songs but overall fantastic.

  • I wish they had sung "No Reply".

by BAGebby on 1/22/14Saenger Theatre New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 4 out of 5

Wished for more songs from early years. Being so far away from the stage made them look more like The Beatles.

  • by Nola86 on 1/21/14Saenger Theatre New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 3 out of 5

It was an average production. I'm glad I didn't spend more than I did. They rushed through the popular, earlier songs and stayed stuck on the crazy, psychedelic years for most of the show. It was just, well, and okay show. I've seem similar in quality. Great actors though, it's not their fault...they follow the script. Very talented performers and great replication.
