    Jack White aragon ballroom

by Bake on 12/11/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Loved the show but very disappointed that Q101 only let Jack White play 90 min. His shows are normally 2 to 3 hours. Couldve done without the openers and just had Jack

    Excellent Twisted X-Mas

by Twinzdad on 12/11/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Both opening bands rocked the house and, of course, Jack White and his band were just about the most amazing set of musicians. A great time was had by all. Access in was amazingly quick. Departure left a little to be desired but I guess that's to be expected when everyone tries to hit the stairs at once. Seems that there has to be a better way of getting the guests out in an orderly fashion. I can only imagine that in an emergency situation, that venue would fail without an alternate exit strategy.

Too crowded, too many joyless people

by MG on 12/11/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

The Aragon is a great place to listen to live music, but it is a very uncomfortable place when they choose to sell too many tickets and people are left with no choice to watch from behind the archways and tiny gaps. On top of that, the crowd around me was some of the most miserable concert goers I’ve ever seen. No one was moving with the music or showing their excitement. I’m gonna think twice in the future before I commit to going to a Radio promo show.

That one time I went to the aragon

by Chrundle the Great on 12/11/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Well would have been great had the drinks not been 18$ a piece and yet still requesting tips. Pay your bartenders a decent wage not to mention the openers had a huge gap in between performances and before jack white came out his hype man came up 3 separate times to ask if the crowd was ready for jack white. It was rather annoying. The artists were great but the venue and overall timing was pretty awful

Great event, all the way around!

by Chris G. on 12/11/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

The venue was well organized and clean. The bands went on at the time they were supposed to, and played well. The lineup worked cohesively, and the DJ chatter was kept to a minimum for a hosted event. Jack White was a great headliner.

    Q101 almost blew it

by Rk5000 on 12/11/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

I've never been to a concert where they play commercials and movie trailers on a big screen for 30 minutes before the main band. It was excruciating and cheap. Luckily Jack White was amazing and saved the day.

    Terrible venue

by Bella on 12/11/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Sound at Aragon is terrible and they always over sell tickets. Too much people could really see or hear the show. I hate Aragon.

    Show great…venue meh

by turnfornerdy on 12/11/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Going and seeing Jack White was fantastic. I do want to start by saying that every time I see him, he puts on an absolutely amazing show and it’s always a joy to see him. The venue was not my favorite place I’ve ever been. Maybe it was just a bad crowd that evening, but I’ve never seen so much pushing and shoving and people not respecting when someone goes to get a drink or to the bathroom and just moving around as they please. Several times I had to tell people the space next to me was occupied as people were shoving to get closer to the front after each opener. I will not be returning to this venue again to see a show. For me it was not worth all the jostling that I have found to not be the norm at a Jack show.

    Awesome Jack White Concert

by EddieL5110 on 12/11/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Jack White's concert was epic at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. His guitar did all the talking and his bands performance was great. On his final song in his encore was " Seven Nation Army" his drummer dropped a stick on the closing and Jack picked it up and started banging on the cymbal as the drummer ended the song. It was a perfect ending to a fantastic concert.

    Terrible sound and setlist

by North on 12/9/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

I’ve seen A LOT of shows at the Aragon and Portugal. The Man was by far the worst sounding band I have ever seen there, and I have see Portugal. The Man at the Aragon before! Not only was the sound so bad we could barely hear the vocals, but their setlist was also not great. For a short set like that fans are there to see the most popular songs! I enjoyed Bob Moses and unfortunately missed Beach Bunny so cannot comment on their performance.

    Oversold

by Ksr708 on 12/9/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Jack White show was way too crowded. Very difficult to see stage and no where to move bc it was so crowded. Was originally “sold out” but then advertised as “more tickets recently released”! Good beer selection. Fast lines for drinks, purchasing merch. Love the Aragon usually.

    First Concert I left early

by W on 12/9/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Love Portugal the man and have seen them a couple times, but the sound was awful. The Q101 trio are gaslighting fans and saying that it was not their responsibility/ the show was amazing. Either way, they put their name on the production and need to own up to the fact sound was atrocious. There was constant feedback from the microphones, the whole set was imbalanced (keyboard was loudest instrument and everything sounded like treble was turned all the way up). In the end, I will definitely see PTM again (their previous shows have all been great); however, I will stay far away from Q101 shenanigans

    Portugal Sucked

by Elvi on 12/9/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Very disappointing show. The sound for Portugal The Man was trash for nearly the entire set. It wasn't until there were a few songs left that the sound was finally adjusted. The singer's words were unintelligible for most of the show. Won't being seeing them again.

What happened in between Bob Moses and Portugal. the man?

by Jake on 12/9/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Something felt really off about this night. This was my 4th show at aaragon, and I always love the venue. I always have a good experience with tickets, drinks, everything of that nature. We loved the opener - Bob Moses - and thought their audio sounded great. Something happened in between them and the headliner that completely changed everything. There was monitor interference causing Portugal to even start a song over. The band was way louder than the signer, and you couldn't hear a word he was saying. You could tell the band was uncomfortable on stage and even cut their set short because of it. They said there is a strict curfew in Chicago, but every single person who lives here knows thats not true for 18+ shows. Still had a lot of fun, but the audio was completely off.

    Bob Moses was incredible!!!

by Miss Chris on 12/9/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

I came for Bob Moses, stayed for Portugal. The Man. Bob Moses should be the headliner. I was disappointed in Portugal. The Man’s performance.

    Bad Sound

by CH on 12/9/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Squealing, Screeching feedback from the guitar amps had many people leaving early. Beach Bunny and Portugal the Man had to stop their sets a few times because of sound issues. For a great venue and radio station to have problems like that made the show seem unprofessional
